Why are you porting these old versions? Latest version is MIUI7 6.1.21 beta for coolpad f1. Please port it to A311 if possible. I am on this latest version of miui in my A311 with volume up key not working properly like all other versions. Try to port it or otherwise just provide a proper patch for volume key bug. You already mentioned your rom is bugless. So it would be easy to port it or to make a patch for A311. Thanks.

Coolpad f1 ROMs are too laggy after porting to A311, so i'm porting from redmi note 3g and I'm currently testing v7.1.4.0 so be patient until I fix all bugs....

I am on latest beta version for coolpad F1 on A311. I dont have any lag as you said. Its working fine.

Try this
In themes app - customize theme - font.
If themes app do not have customize option then do this.
Open settings - installed apps - all apps - select themes - clear cache.
After open themes again. Then you will have the customize option and select the font.
Do not open themes app while you are connected to net. It will disable customize option.
You can download themes using themes app and after if you want to customize you have to clear cache of themes app as above said.
Every time i want to flash this rom through twrp 2.8.6 it is failing to install...please help me.. using a311
It looks to different from 5.10.x version. Plz upgrade with changes from 5.10.x. There's a stable version available with good features n transparent bug resolved in power button. Plz provide 6.x MIUI asap.

Lagging issue solver after kept my phone off for 15 mins. However sim tool kit is still not working... Waiting for the solution.

bro u cant disable the chinese weather icon bcs it is a part of system ui . listen do one sol download and install SPEC theme and see ur chinese weather icon change to english
Volume up bottom not working in A311
Bro this rom works fine on canvas nitro A310, but its not working well in A311.
volume up + bottom not working while pressing volume up bottom ringer volume will decrease

I have installed this ROM and once experiencing it on my mobile I wanted to write a note of appreciation for your hard work to make this rom.
I only have one issue, I see there is camera flash alert active for incoming call and SMS, which seems to be annoying to me, could you please let me know how to disable it or may be you can provide a fix for this.

But in settings menu some options are not their like in additional settings menu under settings their is no "Headphones & audio effects", "Printing" and in the settings menu their is no system front option...
But I recently root my micromax canvas 2 plus and used MIUI 7 Global 5.11.19 | Beta and it has those options...
Even in my nitro in the "Themes" app there is no "customize" option!
So now my question is, is this rom has all those things?

This is official rom ported from redmi note 3g , so it has all the features xiaomi devs included. They have made many changes in features since 5.11.19. That theme customization option is only available in china and modded roms. This is global version so you need xposed to activated that option.

this chinese beta version so not all apps are fully translated. you can wait for global version if you want fully translated rom.

Excellent work bro.. Just installed this MIUI8 ROM on A310 and flashed MIUI7 patch. Have not noticed any issue till now.. Thank you so much for your hard work and you are the real hero..
main bug is wifi and hotspot doesnt work!!! and its very slow UI
Is there are any bugs bluetooth working sim data working of both sims or not and also cast screen wifi and hotspot working?

No. It is still Kitkat based for mt6592 devices.

Screenshots are same with nitro , and miui 8 has not those cam features and its hard to implement cause cam app is very much modified in miui 8

Still camera from miui7 works great, there is no problem with camera, as it is still kitkat only. Do you know which files i need to add to to get those options and camera modes?

There is only camera app modified and some files added on etc folder , i tried to make it work but not worked on miui 8.

1. rom alredy have a play store (so i guess gapps are included)
2. old 310 patch doesn't work - i get stuck on first boot logo (i've try flash it twice with all wipes)

This is global beta so it might have some issues but global stable is released after more testing. Some new animations and app updates that's all

hi bro,
I am using A310 with twrp 2.8.5.0
and while flashing this rom, after a while it says
"Error executing updater binary in zip: 'sdcard/miui global stable/Miui 8_global_stable_8.0.1.0_A311.zip'
How can I fix this out...
And plz note before to this I was using Cynogen mode 13 with marshmellow 6.0 and the device is rooted with kingoroot
plz reply, I m waiting and thanks in advance.

Is this will be the final Patch or you will change anything in that.
Does this Patch works with MIUI 8 6.6.20 Stallion Mod because the patch were in that is not working on A310
