Can't boot - Remix OS for PC

Hello everyone,
I was really hyped to try RemixOS for the first time. I bought a new 64gb USB Stick, Sandisk USB3.0. I found out that it was formated in exFAT, found a tool and formated it to FAT32. I flashed the UEFI version into the usb stick. However, whenever i try to boot from Resident OR Guest, it hangs at Detecting Android-X86.... Found at (...)
I activated DEBUG=1 and here's the message i get :
VFS couldn't find a valid v7
VFS unsupported optional features 40
Can someone help me?
Thank you

I have read somewhere that RemixOS boots only on iGPU but I don't know if that's true anymore [emoji52]

Use different storage device for /data partition with Android x86

I used the Android x86 installer for UEFI devices found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/winapp-android-x86-installer-uefi-t3222483
That installed fine and the OS runs fairly well though I would like to have my /data partition be located on an SDCard rather then on my actual built in storage.
Now, from my other attempts at trying to install Android x86 I've learned that nothing can boot from an SDCard but is it possible to have Grub or Android use an SDCard for my /data directory?
I'm pretty sure I saw a thread mentioning this a while ago but I can't seem to dig it back up for the life of me.
Thanks guys.
Anyone have any info on this, I've still yet to figure this out.
it's some thing you doing in your phone that makes the orginal installation path to your sd card but what is your cell phone model first ???

Your issue is probably a problem with the kernel not being able to use your display or GPU properly. Just wait until the next RC or chekc out the IRC chat, someone might be able to help you there.

I'm not talking about an actual Android phone, I'm using Android x86 on an ASUS Transformer Book T100TAM.
So I've since tried to create symlinks from the /data partition to the sdcard and it ended up just crashing/bootlooping. I figured it might be because the sdcard is a FAT32 formatted device and there for doesn't support Unix permissions/ownership. I tried formatting the card as EXT4 and now android just refuses to mount it.
Any one have any ideas for me?
Thanks.
I'm running out of ideas here. Does anyone have any suggestions for me on this issue?

Does your laptop have NVIDIA graphics? If so you can edit menu.lst (or grub.cfg if it's not there, I'm not sure how it would work for an uefi system) in the RemixOS installation folder and add nouveau.modeset=0 at the end of the kernel ... line.

Will try, yes my laptop is on nvidia graphics. thanks
So, it work ??

Trying now but i include i915.modeset=1. Im still waiting if it will boot. Not sure how long it normally stuck on this screen.
May i know what does nouveau.modeset and i915.modeset mean and what does it do?
Thanks

When the root prompt shows up, try typing "rmmod nouveau" (without quotes) and press enter. If that doesn't get you to the desktop then the issue is something else. You might want to try adding i915.modeset=1 along with nouveau.modeset=0 too.
Tried to make it work by just putting nouveau.modeset=0 (press 'e' on boot selection). But booting to my windows broke. Good thing i managed to make it work again by editting the windows params and point it to correct bootx64.efi.
It seems that it was overwritten to remix os bootx64.efi for some reason i dont know.

Hi Sir, we think this is a serious problem, but can't really reproduce this problem? Do you have a way to reproduce this issue?

32bit OS on Toshiba Satellite L305 with T3200 Intel Processor
Goto Settings then Storage and USB
Portable Storage says Android-x86
Corrupted
When you click on that it pops up and says:
This USB drive is corrupted
To use this USB drive, you have to set it up first.
Options are Cancel or Set up
If you follow-thru on setup it will eventually tell you to format your drive. In my case it formatted the main hard drive. After rebooting everything was gone.

perhaps it cause the partition type, I think MMC or usb flash drive can't use FS Fat/Fat32 at the same time on primary type partition, the Fat32 may work with ext4/Linux partition at the same time. correct me, if I'm wrong.

The problem is, I tried many firmwares and some of them stuck at 2% in USB Burning Tool, and some stuck at 7% after format.
None of the firmware can be flashed successfully on my box.
would you please help?

Thanks Jimenis.
I think this firmware is for S905 but not S905X.
I tried to copy the ZIP content to an SD card and failed to boot from the SD.
IMG content was failed to programmed via USB Burning Tool, maybe wrong emmc type.
Is there any other way to rescue my box please?

Question [SOLVED] Acer Aspire E1 force-powers off when woken from sleep (S3)

!! Before anyone comments, that that's a HW problem, I'm having trouble with the ACPI on Win11!
Howdy fellow Win11 users,
So, as of Dec 28th 22nd, I've switched from Win10 21H2 to Win11 22000 Stable for the nicer Mica effects. My laptop doesn't natively support the OS, cuz of the missing TPM chip, but I managed to install it and it WORKED fine. The problem is that after a feature/quality update, it started doing some funky stuff when - Waken from S3 Sleep, Powered up after hibernation, A big pile of data has been read/written on the SSD and (sometimes) when entering WinRE. Everything about the build is vanilla (except the tweak for making it boot with the Win10X boot animation), and everything in the settings is from the factory. The only modifications are the TranslucentTB, RoundedTB, ModernFlyouts, Files (being used as default directory browser), NoteBook FanControl and PowerToys.
I've tried removing Files as a internal dir browser and restoring the File Explorer, switching from my custom power plan to the standard "Balanced" plan, updating to the latest cumulative updates, removing the latest quality update and I've swapped my SSD with one with Win11 (22621 or something, I dont remember) and I still had problems. I first wanna try find a way to resolve the issue before having to reinstall Windows, cuz I have no time for this right now. As I said earlier, I think its an ACPI problem, cuz I've found out a critical error just when I woke my laptop up today:

Thanks for the help!
P.S. If anyone asks, i've updated my BIOS in mid 2020 when everything happened (...) to switch from Win8.1 to Win10.
Howdy again,
After sometime of researching I've found out the bug actually came from the Win11 update updating some of my drivers. Maybe cuz my CPU is not officially supported, the driver wasn't correctly compatible.
But after I uninstalled my ACPI Controller and restarting several times, I got it working. After I updated again, I haven't had any issues, but to anyone else, I do not recommend updating again if that created the problem in the first place.
