Homestyler Interior Design
Recently I was given the task of painting my living room. I headed over to Home Depot to look at some color swatches and maybe pick out some paint. When looking at the massive selection I began to realize that I can't seem to visualize what any of these colors would actually look like in my house. It's just something I'm not very good at. Luckily we live in a world where technology provides solutions to nearly everything!... and I still can't get a girlfriend.
There is an app created by Autodesk that was able to make my project much simpler and a lot of fun. Homestyler is an app that lets you take a photo of the room that you are working on and apply different wall colors, floors, add furniture, lighting and anything else you could think of.
Snap a picture of a room to create your own 3D home design playground.
• Place high-quality 3D models of real furniture products in your rooms
• Hang light fixtures from your ceiling
• Visualize different product combinations
• See how realistic models of actual branded rugs, paintings, mirrors and more look in your space

After being inspired I was able to paint my room with a color that I knew would look great.
Along with the powerful design tools in the app, there is a social media platform that is similar to Pinterest where you can share your designs. This feature of the app makes it worth checking out even if you don't plan on doing any redecorating any time soon. The app is just plain fun to use. It's like a real life sims game.

thanks a lot

it says this isn't available in my country. i live in the usa. wtf!

Great app and very useful! Thanks

thank u so much for your information
valueconcepts.in

thank you so much for this.. i really use this

It looks absolutely great. Thank you very much for sharing that. I was looking for a person who would create a 3d visualization of my living room. Now I see how easy it is. So, I think I will be able to deal with this task alone. The only question I have. Are there any real collections of furniture and accessories? I already know I want two contemporary rugs from DorisLeslieBlau. So, it would be great to use those particular items in the app. Or maybe I can choose patterns and colors of rugs there. I will be very thankful if you answer my questions and explain to me how to do that!

[APP]CheyTac Intervention Sniper System software

Ok this is just a shot in the dark, but i was watching discoverychannel the other day and it was a program about Sniper rifles, you might think what the *beep* has that got to do with windows mobile.
Just hear me out.
The CheyTac Intervention Sniper System is a rifle combined with a tactical ballistic computer that calculates stuff like bullet drop, wind speed, humidity, temperatures and stuff like that.
I noticed that the computer was a windows mobile device, and that means the program for calculating that sort of info is a windows mobile app.
I've searched around, but without luck.
Its pretty useless without the rifle (especially and in a country were owning a gun is not very easy) but that doesn't matter, i like these sorts of rather useless apps, for example, i'm the type of guy that comes up with new words you can make with a calculator while holding it upside down
Its probably to rare to be available for download, bit who knows someone knows were to find it...

*cough* modern warfare 2 *cough*
lol jk.
It's very interesting that this program was made for a Windows Mobile system (from a video it looks like Pocket PC 2003 maybe??).
Even so, I highly doubt this is available to the public.
It is probably a very expensive program too, considering that is is used by the U.S. Military, created specifically for one weapon system.
I would play around with this app if I got my hands on it too
Can't find the one your looking for but there is quite a lot of ballistic software available for Winmo devices, just do a search in google. You will get what you pay for though .
You can try to get a copy of the SW:

Sensu Brush for those who draw

I've tried many different styluses but none quite satisfied my artistic side until the Sensu https://www.sensubrush.com/

Nice painting, lolz all I'll do with stuff like that is my stickman figures
With which app did you draw/paint that?
video looks cool. A paint brush seems it wouldn't be able to get in those fine spaces and would be for more blob tools.
I guess I would need to see how sensitive it is on the screen.
I used Infinite Painter, I like the selection of brushes and blenders. My all time digital favorite is ArtRage, but not available for Android yet.
Wow, thats pretty cool! I use the Jot for everything but for painting admittedly it sucks horrifically. I really like how it is an actual brush it sure made your drawing look amazing!
That looks neat, but is it really comparable to the kind of experience you could get using a Wacom tablet? In my experience, the tf101 is too laggy with my capacitive stylus.

I doubt it comes anywhere close to using a Wacom tablet but I don't find it too laggy. I think the biggest difference is the pressure sensitivity or lack of. ASUS makes a Windows tablet with a Wacom stylus but the price is steep.

I'm curious; is there a paid version? I can't find it on the market, and apparently the free version doesn't let you save?.
Also, this comment (about the free version) is interesting: "PLEASE make it compatible for tablets like the ASUS Transformer TF101 and Xoom etc as it doesn't work right and the scaling is a bit off". It sounds like your experience is a bit different, to say the least Any idea what this person is talking about?
Oop, just thought of something else. What's the resolution of the canvas? IIRC, Autodesk's SketchBook is limited to 1024xsomething which is pretty lo-res.

[Q] Game App Idea but no coding experience.

Came up for the idea of a game I would like to be created. It would be called Oriecade a game that is tilting based and solely built on the inspiration of the orientation sensor. It would be a puzzle and arcade game. I figure hey there are a lot of apps on Android that are simple like 4 pics one song. THere for any game can become a hit easily. A random color indicator may be picked that you would have to move the ball to that direction. That or a more simpler direction such as left and right may appear. It registers a color or direction immediately when the ball hits the border of the circle. Time between moves would start slow, and get faster as the game progresses, until you are basically keeping the ball in constant motion (would get very fast). Which would get very challenging. Alternately, you could play timed rounds, and the idea would be to go as fast as possible to rack up as many points as you could. There are no patterns you would have to remember and also no ending sessions. Decided a standard 3 lives should be used since all basic games have them. That way it also gives more of a accomplishment when you get a higher score and it's more impressive. The score would be in increments of 10 since its easier to keep track of how many correct hits you get. It would save all your high scores as well as your initials beside them. In order too pause the game you would simply lay it down on a flat surface. Returning the ball to the middle. It would either be a game people could buy for 99 cents or for free. Either way I dont care about money hell take the idea as yours and make it then do with it as you please. I would be just really happy to finally play the app. Where could I get a developer to use my idea. I just thought it would make a simple wholesome clean little game to murder time with.

Not having coding experience is one thing, but you really should finish the game design before trying to find someone who can actually make it.
For instance, before coding the math has to be in order. (Basic rule of acceleration and its effect on ability to shift directions. Score calculation, etc)
How are you at graphic design?
Coders often aren't all that good at it, you can pretty much finish the whole GUI by yourself if you'd want.
Otherwise I'm sure there are some guys here that might appreciate your pitch and make something of it, but if not...

Hi 4slack,
I tried installing it in Belarus, it says it's not available here.
I'm just wondering if you enabled Russia for distribution? In case it needs a rating it's pretty easy to do self-rated PEGI and then it can be distributed to many more countries!

[Dev Req] Watch Faces

I'm sure there would be a good market for these and would love to see the following watch faces implemented in Android Wear:

I agree with the Bell & Ross watch faces. If we could also get some Tag Monacos that would be nice.

May I request that you not put in the external watch hardware as a part of the face? It ruins the illusion and looks, just the face (like don't put in the screw and the outside plating and the strap etc as a part of the watchface). Like in the pic above, if you were designing that as a watch face, I would put the actual face, and perhaps the circle as well, but not the square piece outside it or the screws. Even with my galaxy gear a lot of watchface designers did that, and frankly it looked really weird.
I agree, it looks like two watches then.

Looks good, but better without the screws
I decided to do this for you guys until they make a watch face with date and seconds. It took me about 2 hours (wanted to make it perfect). Just use Wear Faces and my png files below. I took the yellow watch face and the white watch's watch hands from the picture you posted above and did my edits. All credit goes to those who posted those. I think they turned out great . If you guys have any preferred colors, let me know or feel free to do it yourself in Gimp or Photoshop by changing the Hue. Hope you like them. Enjoy!
The colors are much brighter/better in person. For some reason, the centers aren't exactly overlapping correctly. I think it is because I used _MinusZero_'s hour and minute hand png background file and tried to match them up according to that since I wasn't sure how high or low I was supposed to center those. Can anyone tell me or feel free to correct this? Thank you .
