Any chance for a Remix version for a Chrombook running NVIDIA Tegra K1 CD570M-A1 Quad - Remix OS for PC

It would be great to have a possibility to run Remix on Such a Chromebook

Nope.
Requirements for Remix OS:
1) x86 64-bit system
2) EFI/Legacy Boot system
If you have it, then you can try it. If not, there is NO CHANCE OF IT HAPPENING.
I hope you understand, I dont want you to have any doubts in your minds or have any impossible expectations.
Regards

I see that I have posted the question on the wrong thread. Sorry

S2000 Android...

I wondered if it so possible that somebody can cook a rom in android
I can be able to help thank you tanks...
Hi!
I waitt too the android rom for acer s200, but I thing that now is too early for that. Maybe one day we have a costom rom including android for s200.
ubuntu would be awesome for the acer s200...touch pro , touch pro 2, xperia x1.... have it.....it is so cool:/
do you think is there possible to install rom of liquid on s2000
it the same matériel??
what do you think...
No! Don't even try it, I think you will brick your acer or it won't even start.
I don't know this stuff exactly myself, but I read some clever guys, who wrote that there are differences between neotouch and liquid which don't allow to put ROM from one to another.
hey
take a look at this http://www.throttlelauncher.net/por...9/catid,5/sobi2Id,541/sobi2Task,sobi2Details/ you need throttle launcher
I've said this 100000000 times just because 2 devices have SIMILAR hardware it dosnt mean they can share an OS out the bat, is not that easy, the only thing the s200 and s100 share is basic hardware, meaning cpu chipset and a few other basic hardware, in order for the s200 to run android, it needs a working linux kernel, so someone would have to compile a working kernel, which is not an easy task as it requires a lot of debugging/dumping/brainstorming/coffe/endless nights and a group of people to do so, porting android to a non android devices IS NOT EaSY, so again plz before posting senseless threads like these, please do a little research on the subject ok...thanks.
Sincerly

I would like someone to make a rom in andriod as soon as possible...:)
The only thing we have is bootloader (Haret) for Qualcomm QSD8250 processor. But we don't have the working linux kernel. If someone would compile a kernel, then maybe we will have android

Raffyvitto, Gimme a link, please. I want to see the process
http://htc-linux.org/wiki/index.php?title=S200 look in here.
so I'm gonna look into getting this forward if people are willing to test boot kernels on s200. it will be good if some s200 owners will come hang around on irc so we have kernel testers when we need them..
what is the codename of the s200 that is used in bootloader etc. ? can somebody provide the SPL ?
In fact it seems that android already boot on s200, the last problems are the drivers (touch, radio etc), you can see some informations on neotouch s200 general section.
Sorry if I misunderstood your request..

I can go on IRC, got some time on my hands as well as an S200... i'm a noob though, you'll have to walk me through it. I did get Android running on my Omnia though (not a great feat).

The codename used in bootloader is s200.
I think the SPL is not present.
you can download the rom from here and extract the files with 7zip.
then use this tool
Code:
ToolsByANPER.exe -UnpackS200 file.amf
There are some interesting files.
sorry but my english is not very good.

[Q] RAmos T11AD (Rockchip 2818) ROM Development?

Does anyone know if any ROM development is being done that is compatible with this device - RAmos T11AD based on the RK2818 chip.
I'm trying to get Froyo on it. I'm familiar with the phone Android world with my HTC Desire and everything done to it, Just not sure how to approach this MID at all.
Any help will be appreciated. I saw some mentions of the same chip here, just not sure how much of that is relevant to this device.

Up, i wish to know too, thanx
Haven't found anything working well enough. I'd try looking in other forums more dedicated to non-brand devices, like slatedroid.com, mp4nation.net and chinadigitalcomm.com for more answers.
I have a prototype RK2918 STB (GoogleTV) device from a Chinese manufacturer and RockChip themselves. It's running a version of Android 2.3 that's from a tablet.
I'm not an engineer, but if any dev's are interested in cooking a ROM for it I can connect them with the right people, info and hardware.
It's a really nice device and I would love to have some better ROM's and support for it.

[Q] ViewSonic VPAD10

Hey I have a ViewSonic VPAD10 that I picked up from a friend. It seems to have dual boot for Windows 7 and Android 1.7 i think.
Is there a way to install Android on the NAND, for example Honeycomb?
Also, does the ViewSonic ViewPad 7 applies to the VPAD10....for example the ROMS available?

Assumed you've search but missed the response, you would've learned to NOT do it but you could still try your luck & ask the folks at the Viewsonic 10" Tab sub-forum for what you wanted to believe in.
See post #41 -

It will brick your device & turn it to a paper weight ....

This is Intel, right?
If so, try the Android x86 project. I wish I could put the link it, but XDA's "Noob control" isn't letting me. Dang.
Also, I had to remove part of your earlier post since it wouldn't let me quote that link either. Sorry for that confusion.

MeeGoPad T07 -> Android Possible?

Hello to you all!
I have got a new Meegopad T07 and I thought it would somehow be possible, to install android on ist.
I already heard of people experimenting with Remix OS, but it has problem with sound and wifi.
My idea was to get a android Image from a device, that has the same processor. The Meegopad has a Intel X5 Z8300. I looked and found a Tablet PC: Teclast X16 Pro. For this device I also found a costom firmware on this side: Ask me for the link because I can't post it. Else try to search in google for "teclast x16 custom firmware" and take the first link.
But before I do something I wanted to talk with you a little bit about my idea.
First of all: Has someone a idea about the other hardware from the meegopad or the techlast tablet? Does the same processor mean, that it also has the same wifi-, bluetooth-, usb-, sound- etc. controller? How do you think?
If I would install the image: Do i have to install some android drivers? In the link above you see there some drivers that are to install. Do I have to install them? And if yes: do I install them like in this tutorial? Sorry for these questions but I installed till today only cfw on phones and there I never had to install any drivers only the image.
And my last question: How good do you think are my chances to make android runable on my device?
Thanks and have a nice day
