Car Charger - Verizon LG V10

Hey all,
I just got this phone and I am afraid to buy a car charger without any specific recommendations. Anyone have one they'd recommend?
I'd like to have QC but I have 0 experience with electricity and do not know what I need to look for in a car charger.
Thanks!

Need a longer USB cable and an international charger

Hello,
The white cable which came with the PRO 12.2 is a bit too short for me. I am looking for one which is about 30-50% longer. Can't find it on Samsung website. Any recommendation? Do thicker cables and cables made of better materials lead to faster charging?
I bought the Note PRO 12.2 LTE in Hong Kong. The charger has 3 legs (one extendable) for the electric outlet. Is there a Samsung official charger or adapter kit that I can use in the US, Japan and China?
Thanks.
Hey bud eBay 10ft cables and they have international chargers see them today
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Free mobile app
Thanks but I usually don't buy from ebay. Given the cost of the Note Pro, I am looking for high quality products from well known companies. Ordering through Amazon is fine.
Actually what kind of usb cable came with our PRO 12.2? Is it just a normal USB 3.0 cable? Any specification on its impedance?
Hello, local stores have the following Samsung chargers. Which one is fully compatible with our PRO 12.2?
USB Travel Adapter for N7100 Galaxy Note II ETA-U90 EWE
Travel Adapter for S4 ETA-U90CBC

You would be better off with the Samsung Note 3 (N900) Travel Adapter / Charger, and the Note 3 USB3 Cables if you can find them as Official Samsung products.
Here is the Official Note 3 Travel Adapter:
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EP-TA10JWEQSTA
Amazon have it listed as:
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-21-Pin-Travel-Charger-Packaging/dp/B00K3MH7IS
However the cable length is not as big as the Official NotePRO 12.2 cable, as I have purchased both and the one that comes with the Note 3 Travel Adapter is much shorter.
Thanks, so I just get the Samsung Note 3 (N900) Travel Adapter / Charger and use it with the usb3 cable which came with the Note PRO 12.2?
I was told that the length of usb3 cables from Samsung is <= 5 feet. If I want longer one, I need to go for 3rd party products. Any recommendation? As you may know, some iPhone users used unofficial products and had their phones damaged or got killed. We have already paid a lot for our Note PRO already. It is better to get a good quality cable from reputable company.
The official charger for the Note 3 is identical to the one of the NotePro. It's called Travel Adapter even straight from the box of the phone itself. It works with the NotePro cable without issue. (I'm using them both interchangably to charge my NotePro and Note 3.)
Apple installed some kind of sensor in their devices that breaks things when they're not using official equipment. Samsung has no such thing. (They tried it with the View covers, didn't go so well.)
Most decent USB 3.0 cables are fine. USB2.0 also shouldn't make any difference in terms of charging speed, it only affects transfer speed.

Turbo Charger for Nexus 6!

Hi
I recently purchased an extra Turbo charger for my Nexus 6 from Amazon to keep it in my office if in case I forget the original one at home. It is working fine and take same time to fully juice up the battery like the original one. The cost is less than $20.
CHOE 15W Fast Charger Adaptive Fast Charging Travel Wall Turbo Charger with Qualcomm Technology for Samsung Galaxy Note 4/Note Edge, HTC One M8, Sony Xperia Z3, Z2 Tablet, Motorola Droid Turbo, Nexus 6 and more
I have two of the Motorola quick chargers are they are great. I may look into this as a third can always come in handy.
Also I know its motos marketing and branding calling it the "turbo charger" but all Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 charges are the same regardless of what a manufacturer calls it. I have a quick charger for my car and if comes in handy when I'm on a trip and using GPS, WiFi hot spot and Google play music over Bluetooth.

It was to don't have to plug the cable every time. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Cha...&keywords=E+Qi+car+mount+fast+wireless+charge
The question is: is it good? It will charge without removing the cover?

For the Moto Z (2016), what type of port will TurboCharge the phone?

Hello. My significant other has a Moto Z (2016); to be clear, it isn't the Force, Droid, or Play. What charging port will TurboCharge the phone? Is it Quick Charge (QC) 2.0, QC 3.0, USB-C Power Delivery (PD), or something else entirely?
I have an Essential PH-1. I am looking for a two-port car charger that can charge both our smartphones at their fastest speeds. I know for the PH-1, it uses Power Delivery, so I am just trying to figure out what the other port should be. Thank you.

Check the charger that came with the Z and compare the specs on it with what you want.

Question What's special about Pixel USB-C to Headset jack adapter?

Hi folks,
For the first time in the two+ weeks I've had my Pixel 6, I needed to make a call using my office headset, which is a 3.5mm jack headset. No problem; I have a USBC to 3.5mm jack adapter I used with my various OnePlus phones (a 3T and a 6T).
I plugged it in but it didn't work; there was a message that it was an incompatible device. How strange; it worked on a Samsung tablet that was USB-C.
Is there something unique about the Pixel adapters? It's not a BIG deal, as I just bought one on Amazon for $10, but I find it strange that my OP adapter doesn't work as it seems fairly generic.
The pixel adapters pinout is different to normal ones. That or google adapters need built-in DACs. The only other company that I know of which does this is HTC.

Thanks for this. Hopefully I won't have other USBC surprises.
Oddly, one of my two apparently identical wall chargers won't work to charge this phone. One came with OP3T, one came with OP6T. Either can charge rapidly either of those phones. One in of them charges Pixel 6 (slowly) one of them won't charge it at all.
I got an Anker charger so I'm good, but this phone is a bit tweaky. I like it though.
Oneplus stream analogue audio via the type c port so just normal passive cable works fine. Pixel only streams digital audio so you need active cable with integrated digital to analogue converter (DAC) to work. Don't buy the apple one as it is too quiet on android.

I'm pleasantly surprised the Google adapter works as well as it does. Wired headphones and buds sound as good as ever.
Thanks for these insights, guys! I ordered the Google one and should be able to try it out on Wednesday. Now, I understand I needed a DAC instead of passive connection.
I had a htc u11 (basically an attempt at a cheaper pixel, it even had pixel software), it only worked with a htc adapter or a google one, thats how i know. another thing i noticed is that my oneplus 8 pro charger doesnt charge my htc u11, so again, i can confirm that some oneplus chargers will not charge pixel phones.

My 6t wall charger does not work either. However, my 6t USB c to USB a cord works for flashing via PC.
Just to cap this off, I wanted to point out that the wired bud style headset supplied by OP with my 6T works fine on the Pixel 6. That's part of my confusion... since the headset worked, I figured the headset adapter would use the same technology as the headset. But I guess that would be too easy. Apparently the headset I got uses DAC whereas the adapter was just a pass-through item.
Anyway, my Google adapter is due today from Amazon.
I have just tried my Samsung USB-C Headset Jack Adaptor on the Pixel with some AKG headphones and it seems to work fine.
