Yeah, It works. You can check logs, and init.d scripts...
Granted, you need to add init.d support since we're on a stock kernel, I used Uni-init for that. I have also set my SElinux to permissive

I'm game to try it, it can't hurt. I have added init.d support by this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-how-to-make-init-d-stock-kernel-t3167315 so I'll see how it goes. I also added debug.egl.swapinterval=-60 to my build prop. This was a tweak from the G3 for improved graphics. found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/mod-increase-fps-5-12-2015-t3107282. Can't tell if it made a difference but it does go above 60fps on a benchmark, for what it's worth.

I'm interested in trying this out. To confirm, you downloaded uni-init installed and activated to get your init.d folder. Then you installed l speed tyrant and among the settings in the app you set selinux to permissive?

Yes this is correct... Uni-init will install an init.d folder for the kernel, then you can run mods that need init.d support, also I have a SElinux permissive zip file the will make permissive the permanent selection, which is a necessity for a lot of mods. If you need that, pm me and I'll share it there... I would just post it but I can't remember were I got it to give credit...

This is a good thread. I installed uni init and l speed and enabled a bunch of its options. Is there anything in there that shouldn't be enabled? Are there any recommended settings that you guys have?

so other than flashing this zip, do we need to manually change any settings to get this app to work??

Theoretically, you should be able to flash this zip, and reboot twice, and it will force init.d support on the first reboot, and SElinux permissive on the second. I already had init.d support. So on a stock LG rom it does automatically force the SElinux to permissive. On cm 12.1, it works as designed, and forces both.
It should do both on stock LG, but I wasn't doing a complete factory reset to test what I already had working w/ Uni-init. If someone does install w/out Uni-init, please share the results...

[ROM] CleanBread_beta_2 [2.3.4][24/06/13]

Hello guys
Since I've seen that a lot of users keep changing their roms, undecided between gingerbread, ics and jb, I wanted to make a rom based off the Official .58 firmware relased by Sony. The first goal of this rom is to give users a stock experience, because I think that stock roms are, for the most part, better than custom roms.

I had the feeling that .58 firmware was faster than .79, so I used it (but if users want me to re-base it on 79 firmware, I could do it in a possible update)
Yes, it's multiboot aware (as stated in features), but i don't recommend to use turbokernel, simply because a lot of things are broken (like usb mounting)
@CriGiu
thanks very much. this is i think exactly what i needed. as you write some users can't decide because everywhere is something that does not fit right (battery drain here, a fc there or just "overtweaked" roms that makes everything worse).
i think i go back to stock with this nice, spartanic one.

thanks, i appreciate your approach. i think i can remove some apk's for myself from the zip - like news, google, retaildemo, protips - i think that's it from what i can see. nothing that requires a new upload i think
i see you added cpu settings. you think it's save to use setcpu (because of app profiles)? i had serious problems when installing setcpu on cm9.
and please be careful implementing too much as i liked the idea to have a very clean, solid and stable rom. until now the added features are useful

Maverick Rom 5.1.1 edition

Welcome to this thread I started this project because people don't usually get what they want from a dev and support for our devices goes and comes. One thing I promise to to keep it simply for what we love and keeping what we love about our phones. That is why I introduce 2 versions. One ROM debloated like hell , next is a 5.1.1 ROM. You may know me from my 5.0 roms.

Nice. How are you planning to do this? Lightly modified, debloated, deodexed stock? Or are you going to get more drastic with it?
I don't know what others are looking for, but I know I'd like something close to stock, no rom branding, but with things like annoying battery notifications and such taken out.
Just my two cents, but I'm glad something is being worked on in any case. Watching this with interest...

Would it be possible to have an option to maybe flash a zip that removes the xtreme audio mod and surround sound feature? I'd prefer to disable them. If there is a way in settings to disable both that would be fine too instead of a zip.

Q and A - Read it!
Q. Who is this ROM for?
A. Its for the Home-brew enthusiast that wants to make a ROM for themselves. Its for developers that want to build a ROM for the community but may not have access to a complete untouched file set. Its for that guy that forgot to make a back up!
Q. Who is this ROM not for?
A. Crack Flashers. You will not get a flash high from this ROM. Its stock rooted!
Q. Why doesn't it have any mods? All the other ROMS have xxxxx
A. Its a stock ROM!
Q. Is the ROM supposed to take over 15 years to install?
A. Yes, for some reason it does take longer than normal to install. Marshmallow is huge and I opted to go the old school install method. See reason#1 as to why I would do this.
Q. Will this encrypt me?
A. No, it should not!
Thanks

For the most part yes. I made some superficial changes to the installer that tells people it will take a while to install and remind them not to let TWRP installer SuperSU. Other than that the ROM is exactly the same.

I believe it can recognize an unlocked bootloader - and some people suggest once android pay has been initially set up, one can re-enable supersu and as long as bootloader stays locked, works - but only on stock/near stock roms.

I read that for tap to pay to work you have to delete or .bak a file in the root/su folder . xbin_bind I think is the name.

I've been using Kernel Toolkit for over a year now. I have never had any major problems with it. It also gets updated on a pretty regular basis.

Was checking that out but I'm not paying to use features that are in free apps normally or expecting anyone to pay to use the kernel. Otherwise really good app

I've been using Kernel Auditor for a year and no problems here & the good thing is that it has profiles easy to save and restore..
-->>
System Tuner has some capabilities.
Thank you for doing this for us s5 owners.
How can I get rid of that volte icon? And I keep losing my WiFi connections on restart. I've read about a fix before but I can't find it.
Will run it and see how it goes, performance seems to be react to input quicker! Thanks again!

volte= open dialer> 3 dots at the top>call settings and toggle volte off
wifi password= open build prop that has root access and find ro.secure.storage=true change it to false
Installed and I lost root. Also had a ton of random reboots I tried almost all of the governors and still random reboots. I'm running the latest version of Thunderbolt, maybe that could be the reason why. I know @malbert16442 has an alpha MM stock Rom so maybe it's only compatible with similar roms. Idk I just know that I had a ton of Issues on Thunderbolt.

Yeahhh If you're running a s6, s7, note 5 or any kind of port from another device I will disregard any bug you report and don't want any bug reports from them.
I don't do rom ports, and won't even attempt to adjust to them.

Yeah that's what I figured, that's why it was so buggy. I'll wait until I can test @malbert16442 new rom, you always put out quality work so that's why I thought it was strange I should have known better though :silly:
just wanted to thank you for your awesome new kernel runs great on my G900W8 on xXx

VULMAX®
HI GUYS, I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THESE FOR A LONG TIME AND NOW FINALLY MANAGED TO FIND BEST CONFIGURATION AND FIX ALL BUGS.VULMAX IS AN APP WHICH CAN BE USED TO IMPROVE THE PERFOMANCE ,
BATTERY LIFE AND GAMING PERFOMANCEOF OUR KENZO
WHAT TWEAKS ARE INCLUDED IN THE APP ...
*UNDECLOCKING
*HMP scheduler
*GPU UNDERVOLTING
*VM TWEAKS
*GOVERNER TWEAKS
*IO TWEAKS ETC
*BUILD PROP TWEAKS
*DOZE TWEAK ETC.......
CHANGELOGS FOR 12:-
=> made some changes to all profiles
=> New and improved doze tweak
=>Improved battery profile
=>Changed ui
=>Remember which profile u previously selected
=>VM changes
UNDERVOLTING APP[/CENTER]
Undervolting app has 4 profile for both CPU and GPU
higher the undervolt we do lesser the battery consumption will be
(Don't use higher UV profiles while gaming, may introduce lag)
For some undervolting may break navigation and notification bar to fix that use this method from the link https://www.xda-developers.com/broken-navigation-bar-lock-screen-ota-update/
FAQ
Q:How to know whether the app is really working?
A:Simply apply any mode and wait for the vibration indicating the mode is applied and the app will close itself.after that open kernel auditor or exkm app and check for changes.
Q:Any app that can be used with this mode?
A:You can use greenify or brevent for results.but dont use any other apps which is made for battery backup or perfomance bcoz all the tweaks they use are already included in this mode.

What's difference between two zips?
So from the title, what im guessing is
Eco1 uses only big cores,
Eco2 uses only small cores,
Eco3 is same as normal
Corrct me if im wrong...
Eco mode is something LG introduced in their roms which enables only 2 cores and remainin cores will be shut down.

nope in both eco 1 and eco 2 small cores are used more than big cores. Its bcoz A53 cores are less power consumption than A72 cores. The big cores only come active on higher loads .So no relatiom with lg's eco mode.
One question.
I'm use agni kernel and it has agni control app. I'm setting in agin control.
When I'm set to eco when restart
it use this mod or use agni control?

agni control settings are applied on boot. you have to run eco mode manually after evry restarts

*Changed undervolting to mild (as somebody's were getting reboots on R1)

as i saw, after flash you just have to open terminal and type the same commands for the mode you want in all the kernel variant.

but the apps only execute the script you have installed after flashing the zip so i think i don't need to specify the kernel cause they have already all the values in the scripts according to the zip you flased, i can update it to do it without to flash the zip
