Thanks guys you are the best, Ive enabled it but yet nothing appears on recent apps interface.

nothing to enable ...just long press recnt key

so, does it work ,?

Not with me

I've updated to MM and root done.
Edited build.prop, toggle in developer options is appeared, activated, but multi window not working!
Someone know how to do?

Same thing here

Only few apps are supported in multi window for example WhatsApp. So just open WhatsApp and press and hold recent key and boom!
No root no editing build.prop required for me. Only MM is required.
This is how it works in my honor 7.
Hope this helps

Its simple buddy.....You have three buttons at bottom of phone screen 1. return 2. Home and third one is square button which is used for clearing recent apps. Press and hold the square button for few seconds and see the magic- your dual screen will appear
enjoy.

[Q] Re-maping menu touchkey

Hello, I was wondering if is there any way to make the Menu key (The one placed at the right of the home key) to work as the musltitask key on the nexus phone, I had installed a mod that enables the menu panel on the screen as in the nexus, so my phisycal key is useless and I want to map it as the multitask key , I hope you understand what I'm trying to say, if you don't please let me know
Thanks for your time!!!

First of all, what mod did you install? I want one too. Lol.
As for your menu key, if get any root file manager and go to /system/usr/keylayout/ and examine the .kl files there. As for me, mine is located at cyttsp_key.kl. You should see something like
Code:
# KEY_MENU, KEY_BACK, KEY_HOME
key 139 MENU VIRTUAL
key 158 BACK VIRTUAL
key 102 HOME VIRTUAL
Simply replace MENU with APP_SWITCH and you should be all set. I'm not sure if spacing is important but keep a backup of the original file first before modifying it just in case.

I don't like the galaxy-ish theme he put, I am just interested in the on-screen menu button, how does it look like? And can I flash with only the menu button on the mod? I mean I don't want the other changes, just the on-screen menu button. I've been trying to do the same thing you did for quite some time now too.

Is in every app I have on my phone (Tested them), Youtube, Calls, messages, quickpic, etc...
Btw, I'm editing my own framework res file only with these mods:
- On-Screen option (menu) button
- Action bar with text
- Fast Bluetooth turning On/Off
- Volume slider is moved to bottom (will make you easier to slide it with your finger)
- Notification toast is moved to top (everything's better if can be seen clearly )
So, if you want it I can share it or if you want the framework res with only the On screeen option button, just tell me

How to change Recent Apps button to Menu button?

Has anyone tried to find a way to change the recent apps button to Menu button? I think that it is more convenient and the recent apps could pop up with long press of the button.
No, because no one would want that (well, besides LG).
I guess you can root and use a navbar editor app and change it yourself.

You need to be rooted.
1. Install Xposed Framework from here for Android 4.2 http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk ,
Here for android 4.3/4.4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48484642 ,
2. Inside Xposed, install and enable GravityBox,
3. Open GravityBox, under Navigation Bar Tweaks, enable Master Switch,
4. Click back and search Navigation Key Actions,
5. Under Recent Key, you can change Single Tap action to "Show Menu",
Long Press action to "Recent apps",
6. Reboot, Done!
Thanks for the reply.
I have already tried that but with kitkat version of gravitybox cause I am on GPe rom but it does not work. Have you tried that with jb version and it works for you?

Install softkeyZ APP go to install directory in sdcard then collection select the icon you want change and rename it to MENU or any key you want then select the key from the app ...........ALL DONE..........
I am not sure I understood what you proposed to do.
Although I tried it but the only thing I managed to change is the icons only, not their function.

I am on stock 4.3 and works perfectly. Not sure about GPe 4.4.
Other apps suchas softkeyz, UDN, GMD softkey, LMT launcher,... are all overlapping with keyboard when typing.
BTW, should press thanks button instead of saying it
GravityBox definitely works for remapping keys on a 4.3 rom ~ not sure about 4.4. I know xposed doesn't play nicely with ART, are you running dalvik or ART (if art that may be causing the issues).
Sent from my C6833 using Tapatalk
Yeap, my rom is ART compatible, so maybe this is the problem.
EDIT: Solution found in gravitybox forum... I had to enable master switch in Navigation bar tweaks!
Case closed!

[HELP] Settings/Menu button disappeared in Chrome

Hi, I have the Nexus 5 with 4.4.2 , I'm new with Android, my phone is rooted
I recently made the "buttons" disappear adding a line in the build.prop file and instaled LMT to have a pie,but the problem is that in Google Chrome, the Settings/Menu Button in the top right (the one with three little boxes) disappeared.
Does somebody know how to make this button appear?

Just make one of your Pie options the Menu button. Easier and more convenient without having to reach all the way to the top.

It does, indeed. From the Power button...
"Reboot Menu" then gives you more options for that choice.
See screenshots a few posts down...
EDIT: This one worked for a while, then stopped. My normal power menu comes back, until I reopen the app and mess with the settings again. But when it does work, it's great.

Thanks. This one seems to work consistently.
Another one I tried from the thread worked a few times, then stopped. I had to open the app and mess with the settings for it to start working again (to show when I long pressed the power button). It worked a few more times, then stopped again. Maybe I was doing something wrong. I also have the Recovery Reboot app, so when the other one didn't work consistently at least I had that to fall back on + regular stock power menu, therefore no big deal...
But THIS one so far has worked well when I long press the power button.

NOXX Advanced Power Menu
I have the NOXX Advanced Power Menu (the non-exposed one you reference) customized with the options and settings I want. You can even put them in the order you want. See attached screenshots...
Maybe the Xposed one you installed has even more options -- I don't know -- but just making sure others know the NOXX is very customizable.
For instance, I moved Reboot to the top as that's my most frequent choice. Others I enabled, while a couple I just left disabled.
When I get a chance, I'm actually going to recommend this one in the WTF INSTRUCTIONS.

Oh! It wouldn't let me adjust that. I stand corrected. Good to know. Thanks!
Another option, rather than install *another* app...
Most of us have Magisk? Go to Magisk, modules, then in upper right 3 ellipses selection, you get options to reboot, reboot recovery, reboot download, reboot bootloader.
As often as I need this option (not often), this suffices for me anyway.
Cheers
I have tried a bunch of rebooting apps on my V30 LG-H930DS and the only one that works for me is "Easy Reboot for root users".
