Unexplained Characters in Samsung Build Numbers - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been trying to find an explanation for all of the characters in the Samsung Build Numbers. I've found several posts stating the format is:
<model><region code><date code>
And that does seem to be the case for older build numbers such as I9500XXUFNC1: Model = I9500, Region = XX (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Nordic, Spain, United Kingdom), Date = NC1 (2014, March, Build 1)
But for more modern build numbers like for the S6 Edge, there are extra letters and digits that I have found no explanation for, e.g. G925FXXU3QOLD: Model = G-925F, Region = XX, Date = OLD, but U3Q is unexplained.
What do these represent and is there a reference for them anywhere?

S6 in Turkey is G920FQ and q means turkey

Flashing a kies compatible rom

I'm trying to get my gf's S2 back to standard so that I can sell it. It came as a unlocked unbranded phone. It's was running on sensation Rom.
I've tried installing a couple of the original firmwares from the thread in the original development forum. But kies doesn't acknowledge the firmware so will not update to the latest firmware. I need it to be updatable in kies really incase the future buyer doesn't want to flash custom roms.
Thanks

Messaging stopped

Hey guys, I know there are a few threads on this issue but none actually solved my problem tho..
I'm using a galaxy s3 which is from Singapore but I had no idea which telecom did it came from as I bought it from a distributor. I've rooted it previously and found that there are nothing much to do which I've unrooted it back and did every **** that is required but I came to this problem that my messaging app keeps stopping when I try to enter it. I did all the possible ways that are suggested, i.e factory reset, disable and enabling app again etc but it all didn't work. The only problem I'm guessing is that I had flashed the wrong firmware, so if there's any Singapore sgs3 users out there could probably tell me what are the firmwares to be used, that might solve my problem.
Thanks in advance!
As we mention as above, you can check your firmware version by type on the Keypad > *#1234# . Or you can check at Settings > About Device and refer to the baseband version. For example: I9300DXLE8 mean:
I9300 = Model
DX = Region code or Network Code
LE = Release-Date of the Firmware
8 = Revision
Region Codes:
BD = Cyprus, Griechenland
BH = Mitteleuropäisch
CE = Niederlande, Belgien
CP = Finland
DB = Vietnam
DC = Thailand
DD = India
DT = Australien
DX = Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam
DZ = Malaysia, Singapore
JA = Süd Africa
JC = Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia
JP = Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey
MT = Schweiz
PO = Frankreich
XA = Österreich, France, Italien, Schweiz, Niederlande, England
XB = Dänemark, Schweden, Norwegen
XC = Portugal, Spanien
XD = Croatia, Czech, Hungary, Slovakia
XE = Bulgaria, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine (Eastern Europe)
XF = Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania
XG = unter anderen Deutschland
XX = Österreich, Belgien, Frankreich, Deutschland, Ungarn, Italien, Spanien, United Kingdom (Western Europe)

XW = UK, Italy, Germany, France, Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland
ZC = China, Hong Kong
ZH = Hong Kong
ZT = Taiwan
after tons and tons of wiping the cache, factory reset etc. I went through the unrooting procedure again. This time after I had flashed the firmware I did not wipe the cache and it worked... Case closed, wth seriously, I'm starting to hate android.

How to check region?

Due official JB release by samsung, I want to update my phone via kies. How I can check my region to know when my update arrives?
Also if I will flash CFRoot, will kies update my phone to stock JB ?

Help!!
How to root Galaxy grand 2 Lte for kitkat?
Root g7105 kitkat
Hello! Today I have found this:
twitter.com/srsroot/status/520910330579648513?s=09
This information means that G7105 with G7105XXUBNI2 firmware is supported by One Click Root.
I am unable to check myself because I don't want to upgrade to Kitkat if there is no root method available. I really really need root for this phone so I stay on rooted 4.3 for now. If anybody with G7105XXUBNI2 firmware want to check if this method works and share it - everyone will be pleased.
for me does not work.
Hi
How can i reset settings without losing my data and apps?
I have a problem with wifi!
My device : grand 2 dual 4.4.2 rooted
One Click root does not work for me. why they say our phone is supported?
Is there another way to root our new 4.4.2 firmware?

[Q] Samsung carrier check

First of all, i'm sorry for posting in this topic but haven't seen a General Samsung topic here.
I'm working to complete a Samsung Carrier Checker and currently missing some details.
Here is a sample:
Code:
IMEI Number: 35xx600621949xx
Serial Number: RF8xx21FGxX
UnNumber: 04157DF48098Exx < This i have no ideea what it is.
Model Info: MOBILE SM-G925F BLACK H3G
Model Number: SM-G925FZKEH3G < This is the model and the las 3 chars define the Carrier and Country. Example H3G = United Kingdom H3g Hutchison
Model Name: SM-G925F
Warranty Status: In Warranty
Purchase Date: 04.26.2015
Production Date: 04.24.2015
Manufacturer: P518 Samsung Electronics Vietnam < This is the place where it was manufatured, P518 means the plant id and the plant name is Samsung Electronics Vietnam
Carrier: United Kingdom H3g Hutchison
Sold By: United Kingdom / 27 April 2015
Ship To: United Kingdom / 07 May 2015
What i need:
- A complete list of carrier codes like "H3G", i have some of them from sammobile but its not complete.
- A complete list of plantcodes like "P518 ", i have some of them but its not complete.
- A way to get model info from imei or serial, because on some imeis GSPN server not replies it (Model Info: MOBILE SM-G925F BLACK H3G)
- Maybe some knows what UnNumber: 04157DF48098Exx means.
Thanks!
