OCT-L for Xperia SP (Huashan)
Team OctOs is an Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) variant based ROM utilizing the CyanogenMOD 12.1 platform.
Team OctOs was formed on a few core beliefs. The ROM had to be something we'd run, reliable, and customizable by the user from an AOSP-styled UI to the level of their desire.
Providing the user experience ability to range from the "vanilla AOSP" feel purist crave to that fully modified rabbit-hole time-sink craved by others, and everyone in between.
~In Grommish We Trust~
Based On @Adrian DC 's Device and Kernel Sources which provide you a SMOOTH EXPERIENCE

Build 1 - Initial Build
DeviceSettings FC on Boot only.....
Why?? --> Due to unavailability of GloveMode Service of CMSettings (before DeviceSettings Starts), the ActivityManager throws a NullPointerException on this missing service, which is STARTED after The DeviceSettings has been started
Basically, it's the delayed start of GloveMode service (a part of DeviceSettings) which is the cause of the FC and the sequence cannot be changed
FIX - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759889505
Applies for DU, PAC and OCTL

That entirely depends on what Game you play.....
If it's a memory hogger then obviously the Music Player gets killed...
Be more specific while reporting a problem....

But I still have the question
When I press the volume bottom + -
(setting ring volume)
there have sound come out
It's mean speaker doesn't broken
and then I use YouTube to playing music
there isn't any voice comes out...
Is anyway to fix this problem?
Thanks for help.

Try Reinstalling YouTube, ensure Volume is set properly by Expanding The Volume Panel and doing changes accordingly.
Not a ROM problem probably, try your luck :good:

Now audiofx force closes like 15x after every reboot and remember that freezes and reboot issues I mentioned earlier? Its kind of annoying

Remove AudioFX (system/priv-app/AudioFX/AudioFX.apk) if you don't use it, for me it doesn't give a good impact then what Viper4Android gives...

Does live display works in t-kernel ? Coz whenever i set the live display value after unlocking the screen it goes to default value . And Is there any lag in this rom with xposed installed ? And which gapps do u prefer ? Sorry for too much question :silly:

Live Display: T-Kernel <7 - WORKS | T-Kernel 8...9 - NOT WORKING (resets on screen off) | T-Kernel 10 - WORKS
Xposed, by itself won't slow down your device, but some poorly coded modules might do it.
This should have been be asked on T-Kernel topic, anyway.

Probably all 10.x versions. It only takes 5min to install/uninstall a kernel, try by yourself.

Very Annoying bug, whenever i try to reduce the volume by volume keys, the media volume is reduced, not the notification/ringtone volume. Have to manually change the sound profile either via power menu, or pressing the volume keys and expand the sound slider and then move the ringtone/notification slider

AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

Don't worry it must be due to OC but it's been removed, even if there will be any problem i'll remove it.it is just an experiment,if it won't be stable i'll rebase it to default CM kernel, also i use the ROM's i make so i'm currently on it,if there is any problem/no improvement i'll remove it.

Seems good so far, had a reboot after i set my alarm last night.
Bring back logs please
Fantastic ROM: I'm a huge fan of your work. I'd just like to point out a few things:
1) After installing ROM, I immediately received OTA notification: new version available. Please update the link in OP!
2) Sweep to sleep is NOT working (didn't try last update yet)
3) Dark UI is a little messy: IMHO, it's not really clear when the buttons are activated / deactivated (no biggie, switched to light UI).
4) Can I dirty flash last update?
Thanks for your freaking amazing job: I was coming from Dirty Unicorns, which is pretty amazing, but this ROM blew my mind!
Ok, so after updating the ROM to the latest version:
A) Dirty flash is possible (I didn't get a single FC yet)
B) Confirmed that Sweep2Sleep is not working
C) Impossible to chance CPU frequencies with Kernel Adiutor (I was trying to set the minimum to 300 MHz but it goes back the the default value)
Other than that, smooth as butter!
It's a shame that nobody is posting comments on this amazing ROM.
Just for the sake of curiosity, I tried fo flash the last version of Elemental X Kernel: waking up / sleeping gestures are working, CPU frequencies can be changed, everything works just incredibly well: I have found my new daily driver.
Please @AxxPyrtlexx20 keep up this fantastic work!
Twice Random reboots during calls, all stock. I was forced to take it off

Is this feature on navigation bar? Swipe on navigation bar to sleep like is Cataclysm ROM? Does it work on latest build? I want to try this ROM if this feature is working.

None of us support xposed, use it if you want; but don't even think to report bugs with xposed installed.
For the rest...just use multirom and figure out yourself?
This is free and we working to bring these builds up, if u were at mc donald's ordering a big mac and willing to know whats inside, ok ; but we're not there...
Cheers

Why the hostility?
I didnt ask if this rom support xposed, I asked if it works.
And I have a 2nd rom for backup in my n5 so installing a 3rd is not an option without deleting some stuff. That's why I asked about those features.
Anyways, have fun with your rom.

I'm not responsible of any brick or damaged using this ROM
XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".
Images:
See teh "Screenshots" tab!
Instructions:
1. I recommend to use the lastest TWRP by Adrian DC
2. Is advisable to do a backup of your actual ROM
3. Go to the recovery and do a clean install (wipe data, cache, dalvik-cache and system)
4. Flash the ROM
5. Flash gapps. ONLY FLASH GAPPS AT THE SAME TIME AS THE ROM (optional)
5.Reboot and enjoy!!
6.Start from 0822 build, you might need to flash SuperSU 2.52 for working root access!
(LineageOS has builtin SU so no need)

Thank you, forgot to mention though that since audiofx is not installed, simply installing any similar app will work ?? Or I have to flash an audio mod ?

I'm currently using Dolby ATMOS with AOKP, and it works on every MM ROM I tried, a little extra battery drain, but teh sound is great :good:
New build is Up! Check #2 post!
Edit: Just checked that I forget to re-include teh Snap Camera, now dirty building with Snap included!
Edit 2: Currently experiencing build error with Snap Camera code, maybe XenonHD didn't merge some commits needed by Snap, and I don't have teh ability to handle this, will try to re-include in next build
0527 build with Snap Camera
I wonder if there's anyone actually read this, but still, FYI, I've successfully built XenonHD with Snap Camera included with @akhilnarang's help!

Hi, how to set SElinux from Enforcing to Permissive by default?

It isn't possible to set it by Default, you can only change it after it boots.
For Changing it, you need to re-build the Kernel with slight Modifications.
