I am looking to buy a smart watch.

I think it is going from the newest to the oldest
1. Moto X 2nd Gen
2. Moto G 2nd Gen
3. Moto E
4. Moto G 1st Gen or Moto X 2nd Gen

Keep calm.
Even the nexus phones hasn't got the update completely.
Motorola has said that they will give the update by November to December.
Don´t worry. Probably very soon.

GPS on Moto E 4G

Hi All,
I want to use a mobile as offline gps navigator (using apps like sygic or MapFactor without internet/data connection). My questions are:
1. How is Moto E's offline GPS capability? Does it catch gps easily?
2. Should I go for Moto G as I have seen lot of people have fantastic gps catch with Moto G even inside their house?
3. Moto E's processor is Snapdragon 410 which should be better then Moto G's Snapdragon 400, isn't it?
4. Is Beidou working on Moto E?
Please reply
Thanks

I'm interested in this question as well. With our scouting group we're looking into investing in new handheld GPS devices for hiking. A good new GPS (like the Garmin eTrex 25 / 30) is like €200+, so we are investigating the option of cheap (under €150) smartphones. The Moto E has a Snapdragon 410 (so GPS, GLONASS and an electronic compass), decent battery life and is only €90 in The Netherlands.
So the answers that I'm looking for:
How fast can the Moto E (offline / in airplane mode) get a fix indoors or in difficult environments (like in a valley or a forest)?
How accurate is the Moto E once it has a fix and does it hold the fix well?
Does the electronic compass work well?
How long does the battery last (air plane mode, fairly bright screen, GPS on)?
Anyone who could even answer one of these questions is a hero!
the devices you guys are talking about are probably otus (Moto e 2015 2nd gen) and surnia (Moto e 4g 2015 2nd gen)
here's the link to the device's forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015 this forum is for condor (moto e 2014 1st gen)
pls remeber to ask question in the respected forums only.

Moto 360 v2 with iPhone

Hi, I'm an iPhone user with moto 360 v2. I choose moto because it is so much cheaper than Apple Watch.
I'm here to ask, is there a way to install android wear app to moto 360 v2 from Mac or Window? Thing like ADB. Any guide or forum discussing about this.
My moto 360 v2 are in 6.0.1
Thank you

Moto 360 gen 2nd gen wear 2.0 update?

Bit curious wheather moto 360 2015 will get the latest android wear 2.0 update?
I think that the hardware is capable to hadle it smoothly..
A bit early, but I would assume it would get it. Wouldn't be surprised if the original 360 got the update as well.

It's mostly just UI changes and the addition of new input modes since the Moto 360 doesn't support the speaker or cellular capabilities, so I don't see why we wouldn't get it.
I think we will get the update..I have seen the 360 2nd gen image on android 2.0 launch commercial.... Let's hope for the best...

It's suppose to receive the update, even the 1st gen as android wear is different from Android and the support by Google is much longer than the obviously 2 years update guaranteed. Also they choose Huawei Watch and LG Watch Urbane 2nd because they are brand new models instead of 2015's ones, just marketing reasons in my opinion
Yes it will!

Considering the 1st gen Moto 360 won't get 2.0, I think this one will.

Does anyone have any more info on 2.0?
I've got the first gen and was holding out for the new one, but since it looks like its not happening any time soon I am considering going for the 360 Sport.

That my friend, is just an emulated image. It all depends on Motorola.
There wont be moto 360 2016 so that means that motorola flagship smartwatch is still moto 360 2015 for whole another year and leaving it left behind is stupid idea and i dont see why would they do that, plus on almost all android 2.0 photos you can see moto 360 2015
Is there any information yet if Moto 360 will be getting wear 2.0?

Not a question of if, just a question of when. Five page thread about it here.

Moto 360 3rd Gen

Does anybody know if there is a third generation Moto 360 in the works?
Nothing has been announced yet. If they are working on a v3 or a new model of smartwarch I would expect Moto to announce something in the fall around the time the new Nexus phones are announced.
