Important for me to know that you can upgrade ROM
Thanks in advance

Time to get back to stock

I have been playing with custom ROM for a while. Time to get back to stock.
Anyone can advise how I can get back stock ROM? Best with 4.1.x cos I have better fun with this version. Is it simple as installing the custom ROM? I dun need to be unrooted.
Experts, your advise would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you post this in original development forum?? You have been here since 2009.there is a Q&A section for that or one of hundred existing answers available via Google..
Anyway: if you want to keep root and something stable - > wanam 3.9
For going completely stock. Search the thread with all firmwares for your country and flash it via Odin.

You can't. You have to have an unlocked bootloader to install a custom recovery. There isn't an unlock method for 4.3 and up.
Just checking to see if anyone knows if progress has been made on circumventing the locked bootloader that results from (foolishly) taking the OTA update to 4.4.2... or if there is a tested safe way to roll back to a Jellybean version in order to regain root access.

Unfortunately I don't have enough points yet to post to the Developer section of this thread yet as I just joined this forum, but I decided to reply to the Q&A thread.
As far as I can tell, if you go to the very first page of this thread, you need to first install stock 4.1.2 on your Verizon Galaxy Note 2, then run Adam's CASUAL script/program to unlock your 4.1.2 bootloader and root 4.1.2. See the following link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2272066
Next you need to install the rooted version of 4.3 (i.e., MJ9) from this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2578458
Then you can install this ROM distribution:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2765021
I hope that helps.
If this information helps you out, feel free to click on the 'Thanks' button if there is one, so that maybe some day I can post this reply directly to the actual developer thread!
