WIFI and Camera Fix for [ROM][5.1.1][NOTE5][SM-N750][N7505][Deodexed]🌟NobleRom🌟
Those who are using "[ROM][5.1.1][NOTE5][SM-N750][N7505][Deodexed]NobleRom"
on N7505 Devices. HERE are the steps to fix wifi connection problems.
1. Touch your wifi name. Enter your password.
2. Tick Show advanced options.
3. Set IP settings to "Static" and write the following :
4. IP address : 192.168.1.128
5. Gateway : 192.168.1.1
6. Network prefix length : 24
7. DNS 1 : 8.8.8.8
8. DNS 2 : 8.8.4.4
9. Connect
Done ! Now your Wifi works.
For camera FIX you can download any camera app on play store. It works.
I use Candy Camera.
I'm Still searching a way how to fix stock camera.

Hello! I've just tested navigation on Google Maps and Waze. It Works fine.
You should turn on location first.
Long Press on Location on Notification bar then open Locating method
Select : GPS, WI-FI and mobile networks.
And it works.

Ok, Thanks, i'll do a clean re root on stock with cf root, and re flash noble rom, and i will see if it work :thumbup::thumbup:

After a fresh install :
- Reinstalling stock rom
- Re rooting with cf autoroot
- installing recovory TWRP
- and finally reinstalling Noble Rom
All works : camera, wifi and gps
I don't know why but all works

I have problem with gps. It doesn't work. I try faster fix from market, change value in gps config files. Have you suggest or fix to resolve this? I don't have problem with gps on stock rom .

Still nothing. After first reboot "gps test" from Android Market found more than 8 sats and connected to them. But my position not located. I put phone at open space for 30 minutes and nothing. And after second reboot gps doesn't work, again. Even find sats. I have no idea how to fix this. Maybe I must migrate to other rom?

I was looking for ad hoc wireless support in lg p500 as i am using win xp and it only supports ad hoc sharing mode........
I search alot and got something

to enable wifi ad hoc connectivity and visibility by changing wpa-supplicant from system/bin and after changing it I am able to see and connect to the ad-hoc network but no data transferring,

now i created a new dial up connection and shared it now its working

no bro not working for me i am using android 2.3.3 stock and win xp home edition sp3 and creating ad-hoc via connectify 3.3.0.23104 pro
only it is connecting but no data transferring...............
Install the wifiadhocenabler app from market, this works perfectly on my O1

I was able to connect to an open ad-hoc network using wifi ad-hoc enabler in Oxygen ROM. I did a backup jst bfore installing the enabler and restarted. Everything was FC ing. But, I installed wifi enabler and it was working. As almost every app is FC ing, I installed CM 7.2 RC1 and tried wifi enabler. It was not working in CM for me .It shows the network but unable to connect

Bro we are usin gb stock rom not any unofficial rom but than also it must work try some another rom maybe the rom is not compitable with the edited wpa_suplicant

ROM compatibility might be the issue...
I guess, its time to revert back to stock bcoz of frustrating, yet silly issues in custom ones
I Installed CM 10 Everything running except wifi when i connect it works and there is a signal but when i browse or open whatsapp or play store there is no internet what is this ??!!

try reflashing the rom again and kernel.
It maybe a bad flash
You can give more info though... like.
1.what kernel do you have?

Flash the Wifi Modules
hey guys,
so recently i decided to flash one of the many S5 ROMs that are now available to the s3, after wiping my phone i found that the wifi would not connect, i'd put the password in then it would just say "saved, secured".. ive downloaded several similar ROMs since then only to run into the same problem every time.. all the other features work fine its just the wifi, which is quiet essential..
i live in new zealand and have an i9300T..
thanks to anyone who can help me out as i really like the S5 software!
Go to data folder of your device by using any root explorer and create a file name it .cid.info enter in that file and edit and type murata in it.
Change permissions to rw-rw-r and reboot.

If you read carefully about every s5 based rom,you will see a wifi problem mentioned and a flashable zip provided. All you need is read

Read it all and non of the so called wifi fixes worked. I flashed like 3 wifi-fix files nothing helped. This is the only post that worked. So if YOU read carefully my post, you will see that i read so many posts , all you need is read :laugh:

same for me on QS-i9300-KK-v2.5 ROM...
- I flash wifix.zip file - NO wifi
- download wifix manager, install, set to EU - NO wifi
- delete .cid.info file, create again that file, nothing happend, still no connection on any wifi
I don't know what else can I do

Did you flash wifi fix right after flashing rom? Some people said that the wifi worked without applying the fix.

On this rom I came from miui v5 kk rom too where wifi works great. First I installed this QS-i9300-KK rom without wifi-fix, on the first start wifi didn't work, so I flashed wifi-fix.zip and wifi still didn' work. Then I downloaded wifix without any sussess, then I clean installed rom again and after instalation flashed wifi-fix.zip still no success and so on and on... I don't know what else should I do

Wifi fix worked fine for me on 2.4. I did't install 2.5. Maybe try reflash without wipe and choose Agni kernel? Or maybe you are right,it's not meant to be

HAHA OK SOLVED!!!
Clean installed v2.4 without wifi-fix and strange wifi works then installed v2.5 without full wipe and look it works fine such a small step and it changes everything :laugh:

Q1. How to enable root ?
Ans. Open Security app > Permission. Then enable Root Permissions.
In the latest version SuperSu app has been added so no need of doing this step.
Q2. Mobile Data ( 3G OR 2G) not working what to do ?
Ans. Just disable your mobile data first from the settings , then restart your phone , after restarting check your apn settings and complete them , then enable mobile data and it will start working.
Q3. Xposed does not works on the ROM.
Ans. MIUI does not supports Xposed instead of that you can use WSM Tools.
By using WSM Tools you can use the Xposed modules which are supported by WSM Tools.
Q4. Unable to download apps from the Play Store and large files when using mobile data ?
Ans.First open the Downloads app present on the home screen, go into its settings.
Change the download limit to unlimited and also disable Xunlie Download Engine . Now try downloading apps from the play store it should work and also you will be able to download large files.
Q5. How to move apps to SD-Card ?
Ans. Moving apps to sd does not works on MIUI.
Q6. My phone is lagging , what to do ?
Ans. Open Security app > Permissions > Autostarts. Then deny all the apps in the list.
Q7. The camera is showing less picture size ( Mega-pixels ) , what to do ?
Ans. Open Camera app > Camera Settings > Advanced Settings. Turn off Simple Mode.
Again go to settings of camera app and then you can change picture size and enable other advanced settings of the camera.
Q8. Some of the apps like theme manager shows Chinese text, what to do ?
Ans. Just open the app manager in settings and clear the data and cache of that particular app.(Works on themes app)
Q9. Notification light not working?
Ans. Please select only Yellow and Red for notifications from the settings menu as Canvas HD supports only these 2 colours.
Q10. Cannot switch back to USB mode after using MTP mode ?
Ans. It is a problem with MIUI so we can only wait for them to fix it and if you accidently switched to MTP and want to go back to USB then you have to re-install the ROM.
Q11. How to use Viper on MIUI ?
Ans. As reported by users viper is working perfectly with MIUI ROM and its stock music player.Just install it normally as you do.But first set the equalizer in MIUI music player to " no effect " then enable viper and play music and it should work perfectly.
Q12. Where is the video calling option ?
Ans. MIUI does not currently supports video calling feature.
Q13. Does OTG works ?
Ans. Yes , OTG is supported.

this rom is only made for mediatek mt6589 processor based phone , but since lg g2 is based on snap dragon so this rom will not work...
if you want miui rom for your device ask in your respective device forum

That's not an issue when you connect usb through otg it becomes highlighted

what my question is there is no avalibele of compactable recovery for this mobile can you please develope a recovery for this mobile....

It shows Invalid IMEI twice upon dialing *#06#.
