Hi,
As many of you I'm big fan of so called hidden display mode (PreviewMode). Using activity shortcut provided by NovaLanucher is annoying, so I developed a small app which can do that for you at boot time. Device has to be rooted.

Why? I mean I use the Basic mode and as far as I know this one is already pretty accurate with a DeltaE of 1.5 or something I think, so will this mode make it even better or what?

IMO Basic Mode is too warm, hidden is colder (white is more white )

Oh okay, ha ha, I understand why people dislike the yellowish white, but colder whites are inaccurate, so I think this mode creates something which is actually more of a saturated kind of image. Thanks for informing anyway though.

Saturation is lower or equal to Basic Mode.
I will be very glad if somebody can measure parametars of screen in this mode. I really think that picture is best...

i have been using df0520 direct from VZWs boot animation
I'm very interested in seeing these icons when you've got a set completed.
#cc0000 is the color in the logo, as well as the color they use on their website.

Well check this out...
If you go to your android sdk file/
then go to the tools folder
click on ddms
then click the device tab and select screen capture, the screen shots are so much better
Also you can do stuff on the phone like push buttons and take the screen shot at the same time

Here with a mod which changes a lockscreen effects using "light effect" i have made all these images personally using PhotoShop or some imaging tool and will be adding as much as i can in the coming days
Note this is not tested by as I don't have this phone but should work incase any issue please let me know will try to do the need full asap

Don't bother, it's very easy in fact. As the resolution of the S4 mini is each dimension divided by 2 compared to S4, you juste have to divide the sprites by 2
I tried and it's quite better!!!! :victory:

Hello guys.
I was planing to make this thread for a long time but never found the time to till today.
So I have a problem with banding colors after I switched from stock to CM10.1 with the new kernal. As far as I know we have qHD display with 24-bit colors, yet I'm pretty sure it works as 16-bit one for some reason. I had banding colors on some pictures and games before aswell but it was way smooter. I will show you what I'm talking about.

Shame on you for spamming other threads.
Now, for the issue, check in settings -> (not sure how this si called in english, in spanish it shows as "rendimiento", the one between superuser and about phone) -> 16bit transparency (should be unticked) and surfaces interpolation (again, not sure about it's english name), should have the default option selected.

You have to activate the developer options.
you can activate them by clicking on setting-> about phone->build number-> and click
on it for 6 times continuously.
Big thanks guys, but the 16bit was already unchecked and surface improvement was at "default". Guess I'll just have to deal with it.
If anyone is willing, he can download and test "Into the dead" to see if his device has the same color banding as mine. It's a free and fun game.

Just tested... indeed the color bands are there, even with the other options in surface improvment.
BTW, very nice game! And plays without any lag or slowdown!
Couldn't sleep last night so made these instead.
Rename zip file to bootanimation.zip and place in /system/media/
If you use these, please hit the "Thanks" button.

The first one is similar to the original animation and rotates through all the colors of the rainbow.
View the previous post in this thread for colorful examples!
The second one I took the Cyanogen BootAnimation, removed the "Cyanogenmod" text and replaced it with "xdadevelopers Nabi dev Team"
The last one is "Widescreen" formatted and contains the text "Nabi, the tablet that grows with you!" wiggling/zooming in & out across the screen.

For me none of them are aligned with the camera hole the design element supposed to be over the camera is too high and on the right side as if wallpaper was zoomed in a little. I have tried nova, oneui, apply from gallery, settings, same results.

You might have motion effect turned on. If it's on turn it off and it should line up perfectly for you.

I got it to work. Oneui needs to be the default laucher for the setting to appear. If choosing the "only once" option to launch with oneui then the setting doesn't appear.
Does anybody know where to get this white s10 with black letters hi res wallpaper? I can only find it in pictures like the one I posted.. want just the actual wallpaper.. any help would be greatly appreciated!
