[GUIDE/MOD] How to change TWRP's color/Modified TWRP Images for titan - G 2014 Themes and Apps

MODIFIED TWRP IMAGES FOR TITAN!Yeah, that's it. I was thinking about making twrp images for our device with every single color which you can found in this nice thread. Yes, I know that we can put the theme in /TWRP/theme/. But, why don't get rid of that annoying folder, make the change permanent, and most of all, share knowledge? That's what I'm going to do by making even easier the above guide, plus I'll be uploading modified twrp images (when I got time) ready to flash.
We need:
TWRP Image for titan.
Android Kitchen 2.4 for Windows. It's in the attachments section.
Uncompressed themes. You can choose your fav color there.
Patience and common sense.
1. Uncompress the Android Kitchen zip in your desktop (or any other folder), and download your favorite theme color. Uncompress it too.
2. Put the twrp image which you previously downloaded in the Android Kitchen folder (in the same folder where are the .bat files and so on).
3. Drag the image file to the "unpackimg.bat". There'll be a folder called ramdisk afterwards.
4. Go to ramdisk/twres/, and keep it open in a window. Remember the uncompressed theme folder from the first point? Well, open the uncompressed folder and move this: "images", "portrait.xml", "splash.xml", "ui.xml" to /ramdisk/twres. If windows asks if you want to move and replace these files, hit yes to everything.
5. Go back to the Android Kitchen Folder and click repackimg.bat; wait, and voilá, there'll be a new-image.img. Flash it from fastboot or from twrp itself (remember to check the "recovery" box). Click in "Reboot Recovery" to see how your twrp looks now.
That's all!
Images below are only for titan, not for thea/osprey/falcon. Just click the color, download and flash! They're ready to be flashed.

Thanks to: osm0sis, Luk, Luca, fichl and those who made this possible. I don't own anything nor I did any theme. If there's any way to make this better, you're free to post it here. I just share what worked for me.

Works great!

1. Drag the .img to the unpackimg.bat
2. A new folder (ramdisk) will be created afterwards in the same directory.

(Invite) Themed template

This is a method to install custom topbar themes without ADB.
I invite anyone to post their custom framework-res.apk and service.jar files in this thread for everyone to share.
I have included a Zip template that contains the framework-res.apk and service.jar, which you can replace, once people have posted them here. You can then use Clockwork recovery to install the Zip from SD card and apply the theme to your own de-odexed Rom (I don't think it will work with odexed file system).
Just follow the steps bellow to install.
Step 1. Download the Theme template here http://www.mediafire.com/?h6ey9w7pmwyhxev (thanks to Adlxdum for this file. Attached link at the bottom of the page also)
Step 2. Download custom framework-res.apk and service.jar files e.g. http://www.mediafire.com/?8et1sf1xl215bzz (thanks to Shamo42 for this file. Attached link at the bottom of the page also)
Step 3. Using Win Rar or similar, replace the framework-res.apk and service.jar files in the template found in system/framework with your downloaded custom files and save.
Step 4. Place your newly created Zip file anywhere on your SD card.
Step 5. Reboot to enter Clockwork recovery. Follow link on how to install if necessary
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875233
Step 6. Select install Zip from SD card, select your custom file and install. Once installed reboot, and thats it, you have a new theme!
Check out my one in the shots below.

To be able to flash the zip, you have to resign it once you have modified the files using testsign.jar (or autosigner...). Or maybe you can instruct the CWM recovery to skip signature verification (never tried that).

I tested this myself, and I didn't need to do that. I just replaced the files and installed with no problems. The screenshots show your original file "adlxmod-Defy-Froyo-DarkBarOnly.1-signed.zip" with Shamo42 framework and service files in place of yours, and that's what you get. Any idea why I didn't need to resign the zip?

Quick way of making your own
Quick way to make your own is to edit image without extracting the zip in linux or windows <<< i think
right click on zip
open
do not extract
open
when the window opens
double click on boot folder
then right click on image
open with gimp image editor
if you dont have gimp i really think you need it i love it lol
when window open with image
click edit then clear
then drag and drop the image you want there move center shrink or strech edit the image
click save
not save as but save
it will ask you to update zip
click update
done
rename it
This post is for people that dont have linux or gimp and want to give moboot some shine flash and go types lol
I screwed up. I downloaded the blue command jpeg copied it to /boot and renamed it to moboot.background.tga
Now TP won't boot. I can get to USB mode.
How can I put the proper moboot.background.tga that I have downloaded. Push it with adb?
Or,
I still have a backup of another moboot theme in that boot folder called moboot.background.bak. How can I deleted the current moboot.background.tga and rename the .bak to moboot.background.tga?
EDIT:
Using Webos doctor to repair and I'll be fine from there

Cyanogenmod9 Boot Animation

Hi everyone, today I'm going to share with you the Cyanogenmod9 boot animation which I have modded to my needs and I thought I'd share it with everyone.
At first I was about to render the After Effects project file into a movie and then split it up into frames and all that until I realised that they actually share downloadable versions of the boot animation.
So basically all I did here was increase the loops on the second part to make it not start over so that it looks the same like in the real Cyanogenmod9 boot.
Here are 2 screenies:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
I've got a video aswell but it is watermarked to a blog and people here will probably complain.
Instructions (For Custom ROMs which are custom bootanimation ready):
1. Transfer the bootanimation.zip file to your SD card.
2. Use any Root Browser app and copy the bootanimation.zip and then go to directory /system/media and replace your old one with this one.
3. Reboot and enjoy the animation.
Instructions (For Stock ROM users):
1. Download the Files.zip and extract it, you will get 2 files.
2. Use any Root Browser app to transfer the 2 files from your SD card to the directory /system/bin
3. After you have done that, transfer the bootanimation.zip file to directory /system/media as mentioned above.
4. Reboot and enjoy custom boot animations.
The files are attached below.
Thanks to http://cyanogenmod.com for the animation.
Feel free to press thanks if you want.
I will not be liable for any damages you cause to your phone while doing this procedure, so be careful!
Nice share my thanks comes after test.
GREEEEEEEEEETZ!!!
Thanks, let me know if you like it if you feel like testing.
hmmm
the same bootanimation from bazzrom 2.2...

iplaygalaxyy for android
I've never even heard of that name before. I used the animation files from the official cyanogenmod site and increased the loop counts of second part so that animation doesn't start over until the phone is at the homescreen

How to Flash
Place the zip on the internal/external memory.

then click on "install" in the TWRP
searches for the folder where the zip file was placed
and flashes it by clicking on the zip and dragging the slider to the right at the TWRP
rebooting
How do I change the boot logo in the template?
open the exynos8895_logochanger zip (with WinRar or 7zip) and replace the logo. jpg with another image of your choice
the new image must be renamed to logo. jpg again. Otherwise it won't work!
How to return to the Stock logo?
You don't like the custom logos anymore?
then just flash the zip appropriate for your device:
exynos8895_logochanger_Stock_S8 (for Galaxy S8)
exynos8895_logochanger_Stock_S8+ (for Galaxy S8+)
exynos8895_logochanger_Stock_Note8 (for Galaxy Note8)
Troubleshooting
If your hanging in a bootloop without access to twrp, please reflash the bootloader via odin. TWRP and system boots up again.
Note:
Not all images work, the best results are achieved if you just edit the stock image.
