It's compatible with every device having proximity sensor.
EDIT: I've successfully tested the latest build from @infected_ which brings things like 'clear all recent apps' button, added features like 'ActiveDisplay' and fixes things like the wacky signal strength. So I switched to this ROM and depreciate this thread.

► Alarms (Clock) = stable
► complete Settings (incl. unlocked points <Developer Options> and <Performance>) and <Network speed indicator> = functional
► Calculator, Calendar (also tested with 'Birthday Adapter' incl. synchronisation), Dev Tools, Gallery (incl. video funktionality), GPS (tested with OsmAnd incl. compass functionality), Music, People (incl. vCard import), Torch (incl. SOS) = successfully tested, personal impression: stable
► Camera (incl. lockscreen widget and front camera) = fully functional (video recording, too)
► DSP Manager, Bluetooth, Email, Movie Studio & Voice Dialer = successfully opened, but not further tested
[what doesn't out of the box]
► Browser = basically working, but crashes if open <new incognito tab> error: "unfortunately, Browser has stopped."
☼ doesn't found a workaround yet. The open source browser app 'Tint Browser' shows the same behaviour on incognito tabs

☼ tried within 'Terminal Emulator' app:

(on Windows you probably need actual USB drivers) but I can't bring up a connection after pressing the button <Turn on USB storage>. Rollback (to default) is:

# setprop persist.sys.usb.config mtp,adb
# reboot
at least with that (MTP) setting I was able to connect the device, (but just not as mass storage device) under:
• Linux (out of the box) and
• Windows (after installing Kies 3.0 and the prerequisit for that under Windows N and KN versions: "Microsoft Windows Media Feature Pack").
(Kies could say: "This device is not supported by Kies 3.0. Please open Kies 2.6 and then connect the device again." But just ignore this and connect the phone as MTP device under file explorer).
► signal strength is wacky
☼ IMHO: that's not a real problem than just a little bug, because the signal is very good (instead of the displayed sticky single bar). The value of the Settings -> About phone -> Status -> <Signal strength> is: "2147483647 dBm 255 asu" and will never change, also if you switch into airplane mode...
[what would be nice to have]
► deactivated cell broadcasts by default (because I’ve got broadcast messages every few seconds…)
☼ workaround: deactivate them manually over Settings -> More... -> Cell broadcasts
► possibility to remove the Google search bar from the desktop (seen embedded in CM)
☼ workaround: Settings -> Apps -> All -> Search -> Disable (but if you disable this built-in app other apps may misbehave! You also may need a reboot to remove the white frame on the desktop)
► possibility to modify (especially reduce) haptic feedback intensity (seen embedded in CM)
☼ partial workaround:
• for keyboard haptic feedback itensity: Settings -> Language & input -> Android Keyboard settings -> Advanced settings -> Keypress vibration duration
• for system wide vibration feedback (on / off only): Settings -> Sound -> Vibrate on touch
• or try a free app like 'Vibrate', seen in Google play store (not tested)
► possibility to dim or turn of the lights of the touch sensitive buttons (seen embedded in CM)
☼ partial workaround:
• to disable the lights completely put the following into a file with a name you want under /system/etc/init.d/{filename}:

Few more issues
I've come accross these additional issues:
1) External SD card not accessible (32 GB)
2) USB MTP connection is unstable
Other than that I have to say that I am very satisfied with this ROM. It's definitely the fastest ROM I've ever used on S2. Everything is just smooth.

I also had this SD card access issue in the first 4.4 build, but not anymore in the actual build (omni-4.4-20131118-i9100-HOMEMADE.zip). I don't have any problems to access (read / write) my 16GB Card over MTP on Linux. On Windows, too but there is no possibility to "unmount" the device, so sometimes I see some already deleted files after reconnect...

I think I can't help without more informations. Have you seen the installation instructions before flashing? What happens if you want to access the recovery mode? Have you noticed tools like heimdall? Or other threads in the forum with solutions like that?

ROM generally looks and feels very good.
I lost access to my internal sdcard0 after encrypting the phone when connecting to a Exchange server.
I did find some more messages with similar problems and it seems to be an issue with the 4.4 base code but has anyone else seen this kind of issue?
the storage is there but you just can't seem to access it, only the system itself is able to put applications there, but gallery or any other app is unable to gain access.
With terminal I tried to see and even su - did not give me access to the contents of the card

unfortunately dashclock widget stopped this error comes when I try to put the widget on home screen on lock screen
It's a wonderful ROM.
One of the issues that I faced is that sometimes the phone would be just like dead and on connecting the charger a battery icon with a question mark appears.
It won't boot then and will be stuck at the samsung boot logo.
It happened today and I had to do a clean flash again to resolve.
On infected's thread, I saw a post saying that this is some known issue.
Also the battery life for me seems to be terrible.
I have been working to isolate the issues causing this huge drain.

Try the latest OMNI build. Get it from @infected_ or use the official builds from here. There was the zzmove govenor merged and used by default. Other users says to that build, that they've played music for over 6 hours and the battery drain was just 35%... That seems to be a good value for me.

Battery life is much better using Omni 4.4.2 than with this rom. At least for me!

When you get the zip and you select to update it, you have to flash it the same way as you downloaded the last nightly?

Installation
Note: Obviously, you need root access on your phone.
Download the Xposed Installer APK.
Install the app along with the framework.

FAQQ: The Snapchat app force closes, what should I do?
A: First of all, check if you are using a compatible combination of Snapchat and Snapprefs. (Look further down for the compatible chart)
Q: I am using a compatible combination, but it still crashes, what now?
A: Open the Snapprefs app, enable debugging mode, then kill the Snapchat app. Reproduce the issue and attach the log from Xposed Installer -> Log, in a CODE TAG, also cut down the irrelevant parts of it.
Q: I have accidentally updated the Snapchat app, how can I roll back to the previous version?
A: Download the needed Snapchat version from APKMANIA
Q: I'm unable to log in to Snapchat, what should I do?
A:
1) Uninstall the Xposed Framework, not the Installer app, the Framework. (Kitkat and below can uninstall it from the Installer app, Lollipop and above have to flash the correct uninstaller zip. Finding the correct one will not be assisted here.)
2) Boot up the device and log into Snapchat.
3) Backup the data of Snapchat with Titanium Backup
4) Install the Xposed Framework and you will be logged in. If you ever press the log out button, you will have to redo the whole process.
4a) If you uninstall Snapchat, restore the backup from Titanium Backup to log back into it.

Mr.Yawnie's Custom Stickers
Welcome to Mr.Yawnie's Custom Sticker Packs -post.
Here I will share my work for you to use. Current packs include EmojiOne and iOS packs as well as my own extra stickers.
Instructions on how to use:
1. Download Snapprefs 1.4.9 or later
2. Enable Custom Stickers from Snapprefs settings
3. Download one of the sticker packs from below
4. Extract the .zip you downloaded, so you end up with 2 zips (twitter_emoji...zip (only on 1.6.5 and below!). On 2.0.0b and above rename the zips to twemoji_2_png.zip and twemoji_2_svg.zip
5. Copy those two zips to sdcard/Snapprefs/Stickers folder. Create the folder if you don't have it. (HOX! If it doesn't work, try Ext.SD/Snapprefs/Stickers)
6. Kill Snapchat and open it again
7. Use the custom stickers (usually in last tab, on the bottom!)
8. PROFIT (and don't forget to press thanks!)
How to use two or more sticker packs simultaneously:
1. Add one custom pack first to sdcard/Snapprefs/Stickers
2. Go to Snapchat, take the image you want and add the stickers you need from pack A.
3. Go to file explorer and copy the pack B to sdcard/Snapprefs/Stickers and overwrite the current one (DO NOT CLOSE SNAPCHAT IN BETWEEN!!)
4. Go back to Snapprefs, and you have the pack B to choose from. Apply needed stickers and you have stickers from two different packs.
5. Send the snap or repeat to add stickers from pack C.

First of all thanks for the feedback. Have you tried setting the color when you are on the first caption "mode" (the one which has a lightly transparent black background with white text)? For the second and third caption mode I will implement the fix in the next release.

Seems to be a text-style issue, I checked on a 4.1 AOSP rom on my tablet and on 4.4.4 PAC on my phone, worked great in both cases, will look into it in the next release, thanks for the feedback! Could you possibly PM me with any form of IM so you could help me to reproduce the issue?

If you have clicked the Caption mode changer (T symbol), you cannot set the colors untill you retake the snap. Unfortunately to fix this I would have to re-replace the layout everytime you click the changer, which would cause serious lags.

I have the following checked in the settings: unlimited text, text colour customizations, custom text styles, text gravity, background colour customization, background opacity customization, text-size customization, and caption opacity customization.

Colors work great, just as you described. Defaults to white each time but I can manually change it after the snap is taken. Just change and re type. No need to take snap again. Rainbow doesn't work but it's not something I would even use. Thank you and great job.

After applying the desired options, please manually close the app from your recents, so it could hook the resources as soon as Snapchat relaunches.

Seems like there is a bug for you when it tries to get your text content, but it fails. Does the logcat or the Xposes Installer's Log show any errors for Snapchat and/or Snapprefs?

i download from the alternative link and i m tryiing to flash it, but it gives a message and it says to me "corrupted"

I think I know what the bug may be. This rom won't install. Hangs on system patching unconditionally. Not sure what is causing the hangup. This is the rom that I downloaded from the google drive site (alternative).

Yesterday I manage to download one copy of X820 5.8 stock rom from Official website before they remove.
Here's the copy (without any modification), only for those who needed.
I'm not responsible for any risk of bug from this rom, use at you own risk.

Scuze i'm not specialist in Android :
Is this ROM in English and Chinese ?
Can we add Google Services and Google Play ? How ?
Is it possible to root this phone without using TWRP ? (For updates in futur and root just for "morelocale")

It's En/CN only.
Add Google play from Le store.
Don't know about root, but no need to root for more locale.

There is a post that describes what is needed for Google Play installation in discussion. The ROM is in Chinese, but has multi lingual capabilities.

NO night mode and leshutter and other features?
Is it not available in the stock rom iteself or u have removed it?
Also there are no fonts showing in the themes app.

I recommended that you install radio, its better for all comunications: GPS, WIFI, BT...

No, all custom ROM with official stock base only have the same languages that stock ROM.

I love your builds, however, it seems the new camera has some issue, the pictures became two parts, brighter on upper side and darker on the below. This happens when taking pic with shaking hands, I guess it's a EIS problem. Is it the original from Stock ROM?

Yes, its original stock ROM. But this issue only its in a few of phones, others no. Mine, for example, works fine and its the same ROM.
Try wipe of cache and dalvik and check, please.

Make a TWRP backup and only wipe cache and dalvik cache, then install this. It should work with all yours apps.
It is a very good rom, I need to install viper4, one can guide to install works perfectly works on this rom!

It might only be December for the US version of 20s.
This would be unfortunate because the security patch was the main reason why I upgraded the phone.
