Homescreen issue? - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I noticed that my homescreen isn't completely black even after setting a black wallpaper. I'm certain it's not a screen defect, because when I preview the wallpaper, the screen is completely black. I tried changing themes and launcher, it didn't help. The status bar and a portion below it is slightly lighter. I'm not sure what to look after to make it go completely black. Below is a comparison screenshot of the homescreen and gallery preview of the black wallpaper to prove it's not a screen defect.

[Q] Wall paper acting strange

I am using Gingerbread and the wallpaper background started to look different with a small border and two round circles on the bottem of the screen. All apps are running/looking normal. Perhaps this is a setting issue? How do I change the wallpaper settings?

Lock screen wallpaper (portrait)

I am using simple image wallpaper to set the custom 2560x1600 wallpapers to fit on the landscape and portrait mode fully on the homescreen.
But how about the lock screen wallpaper? I can't fit that properly on portrait mode. The bottom and top are cut off.
I am using the Simple Image lwp as well for my homescreen; I would also like to know if we can do this for the lock screen.

[Q] How to remove white stripe?

Hello! How to remove white stripe on top of the screen? Screen in attach. Thanks!

Grey tint on top of Black Wallpapers!!??

Let me explain the issue. Whenever I apply a pure black wallpaper, it appears to be grey near the notification bar. I know this may be done intentionally by Samsung to make the notification icons more clear. But this tinting is not necessary when you have a black wallpaper. This shadowing is fine when using other wallpapers but really bugs me out when I see this on a black wallpaper.
Do you experience this too? If so, has someone found a solution to this?

A temporary solution is to use Good Lock by SAMSUNG. You can disable Status bar dim background.
I have the same problem there is a grey tint around the notification bar or perhaps, is this a normal thing?
I've been using a black live wallpaper and its removed the tint from the homeacreen. I didn't have it on the lock screen. I'm rooted now so I'll see if there's a way to disable that tint via root.

How do I get rid of this grey bar?

Have this annoying grey bar that appears at the top of the screen when I use black amoled wallpapers is there a way to remove it? When I use normal coloured wallpapers the gray bar disappears only happens on the black wallpapers it's not part of the image either.
