You need to download the beta factory tar from Google and use the flash all.bat with ABD. It will however erase user data.

well I mean it's been like an hour...

does my bootloader have to be unlocked?

How does the split screen works? Is it enter than on Marshmallow?
Is there a way to change the quick setting toggles?
Does all your apps work?

TWRP flashes fine but I since forced encryption is enabled, TWRP cant mount the data partition.

I'd be interested in your experience after a few days on Android N. The M Preview was a bit buggy with random crashes, so wasn't good for my daily driver. Going back to 6 requires a full wipe, so want to make sure before I sign up for OTA updates.

Unless you remove the -w from this line: fastboot -w update image-angler-npc56p.zip in the flash all.bat file.

IMO notifications on lockscreen look meh.
You should take down the screenshot which shows your email ID.

But if your bootloader is locked, unlocking it will erase all user data, correct?

Yes, that is correct. That's always the case when first unlocking the bootloader.
It's good to back up your data once in a while though.

Not sure but I think you leave the watch on the cradle then use a standard phone charger cable with a USB 5.0 on the power end. Then plug that into a computer.

We remove the inscription that our loader is unblocked

This patch will remove annoying inscriptions that the bootloader is unlocked.
The loader itself will remain unlocked, only the labels will be removed when the device is turned on.
Install from TWRP. Works on all A2017, A2017G, A2017U
Do not use on devices with encrypted memory!
Don't work on A2017U rom: B19/B25
Perhaps this patch does not fit your smartphone individually! All at your own peril and risk!

Whoa, that's awesome... Only a couple of questions
Will this work on non-stock roms, with tampered bootloaders and stuff?
Would this work on another phone, namely op3T?
Is the screen hidden (I can hit the volume keys and select another mode like recovery) or just totally bypassed?

[Recovery] 7to TWRP 3.1.1 for Nokia 5

Here's the TWRP Recovery adapted by Can Xin from Chinese 7to forum.
It's the same recovery adapted for Nokia 5.
Guide of flashing custom recovery and rooting: https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...de-how-to-flash-custom-recovery-root-t3702354
When you attempt to root Nokia 5, load official firmware for Nokia 5 instead.
UPDATE: Uploaded screenshots.
NOTE: I was using Nokia 5 prototype device, which doesn't have Nokia logo on the screen. However, the hardware specification is totally the same to retail devices.
Hey man, is it working? Can you put some screenshots? :|

In fact the screenshot it the same to the recovery for Nokia 6. You can take a look to the guide I posted on Nokia 6 Development forum.
Is TWRP only for TA-1004 as the name of file says? I have TA-1053, wondering about the chances of brick.
Wait a minute! TA-1004 is Nokia 8. Are you sure you wanna take the risk?

Please, look at his Nokia 6 guide above
I can confirm it works. BUT. My widgets from home screen disappeared and there is no way to add them (long press does nothing). Nor can I long-press on apps in the drawer to delete/add to the home screen.
I do not know if this is TWRP issue, or root or I did anything else to do that, but it doesn't work now
Installed on 7.1.1 (September's patch).
