Stop charging led at 100% - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know a way to disable the charging led? The little green light is disturbing me at night. Gravitybox only has a function to disable the led while charging in general, not the one at 100 percent.
Thanks in advance!

How in the world, that little tiny green light is disturbing you at night ?? ??

Because as soon as it turns green, green goblin comes out of it and scares the hell out at night.
To the original question, remove charging at night or put a paper/cardboard on that. See, no customization needed.

Use Boeffla Kernel + his app. I think is also implemented in bluspark but not in kernel adiutor app. I hate the led too

I have it in a charging dock overnight with airplane mode activated. Light is simply not very helpful while trying to sleep...

Thanks for your answer, I have boeffla but the app only has an option to completely disable it. I want it for my notification during the day but it charges all night. So I want just that disabled. Gravitybox does not have that function either. Any ideas?

Funny and thanks for your 'solution' but I want my phone at a set place (charging dock) and pieces of paper are not the solution I am searching for. Thanks for thinking with me anyway

I've got a different approach / solution for your question to disable the charging led.
I'm using the Mi Power Bank 10400mAh to charge my OPX overnight. When the OPX is fully charged the Mi Power Bank automatically shuts down / powers off. Since the OPX stops receiving any power, the charging (green) led is gone.
Disadvantage is the OPX starts to draw power from its own battery, so when u wake up it is not at 100% but about 97%
An other disadvantage is the Mi Power Bank also has blinking leds while charging, but you can cover them.

[Q] Anyone can help me to use CyanogenMod with thick battery?Thank you!

I have bought a thick battery. When I use the htc roms,it will take 5-6 hours, and then the led turns to green. The battery is full.
But when I use CyanogenMod roms,it takes only 2hours and the led turns to green. And I reboot the phone, the battery displays only 60%.charing can not be full.I tried all kinds of roms of CyanogenMod,including cm9 and cm10,it would always be that.I tried some methods in the form, charing until the led was green, and took it out, turned off the phone, charged again.when the led turned to green, took it out and turned on.then turned it off immediately.charged again untill the led was green again.at last, wipe the battery status. But it had no use.
I guess maybe the charging app is different between CyanogenMod and htc.And CyanogenMod's do not depend on my thick battery?
I love CyanogenMod and I did not like the htc sense.so,please help me.anyone can tell me what to do?I really want to use CyanogenMod with my thick battery.Thank you!

Try calibrating the battery
Ignore the green light, it does that to me when I get to 90%, and yet it'll still charge past there. It's annoying, but not really anything to worry about

The green light is just an indicator. Ignore it, the rest of the phone and the battery have their own settings to prevent the battery from overcharging. It's always gonna go through its normal charging cycle, one of the codes in cyanogenmod causes the light to change to green at the wrong time, but it has NO effect on the charging. It's annoying and unnerving I know, buts its nothing to worry about

The notification light you mean? Does it light up "Green, Red" blinking? If so then the phone is telling you its too hot, so it cools itself off then charges off. Try to remove the cover when that happens.

[Q] Issue with Sony Z2 (red light notification blinking 3 times)

Hello,
Can somebody assist me with a problem I have with a friend's Sony Z2. I'm not very familiar with this phone and I have an issue with one.
It had the screen replaced because it was broken and before putting the last screw I turned it on to see if it works. I needed to put on charge because the battery was 1%. It worked perfectlyand then I disconnected it from charge, removed the battery flex cable to mount the phone back and when I finished it, I tried to turn on, but unsuccesfully.
All it does now is, every time I push the power button, the notification light is blinking red 3 times. Nothing more. If I keep Power and volume up is doing nothing, unless I put it on charge (on charge and power+volume up is vibrate 3 times too). I have nothing on screen. Reset button (the one inside SIM slot) makes the phone vibrate 3 times. The pc detects the phone 1-3 seconds and then nothing, I don't see it in my device management. I tried with another battery and same issues.
Any idea how to fix it ?
Thank you.
let it charge for 10 -20 mins
if not check battery flex
i feel its battery low or not connected proper

Thanks for the answer mate.
It was 2 nights on charge and still nothing. Also the notification light remains red while charging ? It shouldn't turn green when the charge is complete
Did you check flex?

The flex comes with the battery. Since I tried a new battery, I guess isn't the flex cable.
Sadly that's all I can say

Turn off LED

I can't find a way to turn off the LED light.. That really bothers me because I charge the phone during the night and it's not nice to have a glowing LED disturbing my sleep.
The best solution I can find is to make it dark blue.
Does anyone knows how to turn it off, or how to make it sync with notifications profiles, or how to define sleeping hours so the LED doesn't light during that time?

Put the phone face-down on your bedside table...
Or, if you don't to put it face down:

I would also like to disable the LED while charging.. Is it possible with root?

[Q]charging troubles

guys .. i know there are mroe threads about issues of charging but this one i have never read about...
i see phone battery its normal.. i start charging with usb cable it shoes battery animations as if its charging but its really not (there is no red light above) and I tried turning the device off and it turns on by itself gets stuck on bootloop and I must force shut down (power and volume up) and turn on again to get it running and it only charges in magnetic charger and also using it no red light but at least it charges , yet when i disconnect same problem occues ! (I have animations on battery as if its still charging) and battery drain is slightly faster and charging is slightly slower.. what seems to be the problem ?
How many mAh does your charger have?

Luckily not from an iPhone = Yesterdays technology at tomorrows prices
Are you charging it in a computer? Maybe the use port isn't putting out enough power.
