I?m trying to root my android box amlogic g18ref. I already tried every kind of root app and did not work at all. I cant use adb because the developer mode is blocked by firmware.
Another strange thing is that i use the stock firmware and try to update with Android Recovery it works. But if i just unzip it, zip it again, no changes, resign it i got the same error when i try to root or use a custom ROM.
Can anybody help me?

This is due to work's no camera phone policy. Thing is, I don't trust this phone (maybe they have a keylogger installed or something) so I want to get a custom ROM on it. So first, I want to save the custom ROM they have installed and then try and get Cyanogenmod installed on it. Anyone can help get it done? What should I do first?

Guys,I selected all,and swiped to wipe.Then I wanted to reboot but TWRP said ''No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?'',I rebooted my tablet,Then My tablet didn't open.My computer doesn't find my tablet.I tried active adb sideload,wipe data,factory reset but I can't.I haven't fastboot,odin mode.I entered file manager on TWRP,I can't find emulated.sdcard,system,... are empty.How can I solve it?

I need to use busybox or I need to use the native commands of the update-binary?
Also someone can give me an update binary and an updater-script of a rom that doesn't use the system-new.dat ecc?
I'm using a S5 Mini (g800f variant, rooted and busybox installed) with TWRP 3

I bought this from ebay, but I cant find a ROM or a root method that works. Device info says it is Android 5.1, but Android 4.0.3 is stated elsewhere.
On ebay, its named "U9", and in Device info "Spreadtrum F2s", but I cant find anything similar.
Most apps will not install "Parse error"
Is there any roms for this, or a root method that works? The root apps that i have tried, says that its an unsupported device, IF i managed to install it.

Hi, I have a Umidigi A13 and had once unlocked its bootloader to test GSI's. Today I tried to flash its stock rom following the guide on the official website, but seems it's stuck, the download speed apparentely is decreasing over time and almost an hour have been passed. I don't know if it is normal or I have a serious problem. Should I stop the process and try it again?
