Galaxy A5 Flip cover opinions - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Accessories

Hello fellas! Well, I've got the Samsung A5, with a silicone cover to protect it, but I've been thinking about getting a flip cover case like the one offered by Samsung on its official site, which works with the S-View feature (showing the camera and some info on the small window).

This is the flip cover: http://www.samsung.com/es/consumer/mobile-devices/accessories/case/EF-CA500BWEGWW
Now, I've seen the phone attaches to the case with... glue? WTF! Is it safe' It looks weak for me, and I'm scared the phone may fall because the "glue" pad is not storng enough. Does anyoe use this cover? How is it?
Thanks!

Hi, i use this cover for months now, the glue is strong enough, phone looks very nice on it, the case is safe, mine phone fall down in several times and cases do the job, protect my phone and is still on it, is ok trust me

Hey, it is an original one cover.
Do you think they would be crazy to do a cover allowing the phone to fall?

Yes is original cover
I'm worried about taking phone off of it... seriously

once or twice you probably could take the phone off of it ... if you do it more often it would probably not stick well again

I bought the original flip cover Black A5 2016
EF-WA510PBEGWW
Warning this this is not black but dark blue, and not just darkblue, but it also has a mother of pearl, oil on water, sheen on it.
Still I like the cover and kept it.

this one fits perfectly and keeps that premium look that this smartphone has.

already dropped it once with EF-WA510PBEGWW from hip height, it fell on a corner and sprang out the booklet cover and landed on its glass, luckily only minor scratch on the edge

my protection and case solutions

Hello,
This is my first post ever, ever. Got my gTab and went to work. This is what I have done in the last two days. Bought some 800 grit sandpaper and got rid of the horrible logos on the back, remove the bar code sticker before doing this. Rub in circular motions. There will be no deep scratches and get rid of the scratches you may already have. Next I bought some contact paper ( the kind you would line your kitchen drawers with ) I decided on clear. Cut and applied with a plastic spreader I had. The end result in pretty nice. No more logos and the sanded paper provides pores for the contact paper to stick to better, also resulted in a nice pattern and added grip.
Next on the list is buying a small aluminum gun case with foam. I looking for ones on amazon right now, with a hinge. Buying this to protect the tab and to prop up for viewing when on the train.
This should work nicely:
can't post links so: amazon.com -> aluminum gun case -> should be the first on that comes up by ADG sports.
Post means nothing without pics
I didn't go to that hassle, I just bought the carbon fiber vinyl and stuck it to the back covering up the logo and all, idea taken from one of the other posts from a month ago.

pics of the work
Here are a couple pics of the work that has been done. Also, was bored today and made a stand -- my style is more of cheap/functional than anything else. Just thought I would post it for the others like me. This project in total cost me about 3.50.

I've just got the Roxfit Slimline Book Case from Amazon today, alas, no phone as yet! Its cheaper than the official Sony case, I paid £13.50, but is well made with a quality feel to it. Obviously I cant comment on fit or durability but Ive always had my phones in cases and this is one of the more premium feeling cases ive owned. Well worth the money based on its build quality.
Inside the front cover the material has a soft rubbery feel that grips onto the screen whilst closed to stop it moving around (roughly tested with my iphone 5 in the housing). The back of the case also folds away, similar to the official case so the phone can be placed in the charging dock. The outer material is similar to the apple iPad cover. The clear plastic shell that holds the phone has a thin foam layer in to absorb any shock and prevent any scratches on the rear glass panel.
I've still got a week wait for my phone before I can test it thoroughly.

My G3 Setup (screen protector, case, wrap), what's yours?

So, after wanting to try a wrap for so long, and seeing how it doesn't exactly provide the ultimate protection that I wanted for my G3, I combined a few elements to come up with a setup that works perfectly for me and looks nice at the same time. First, I got the Tech Armor Ultraclear Ballistic Glass screen protector. It fits perfectly, I still get maximum input, and barely notice it's there.
Then, I got the Teak Wood wrap from Slickwraps. Finally, in order to protect the corners and sides, but still be able to appreciate the wrap, I got a bumper case from Nillkin. Love the combination and the bumper case is exactly what I was looking for, for a little added protection. The case is very snug, a perfect fit with all the right cutouts in place.

Looks pretty sweet and great idea with the wrap on back cover I like it and should protect against scratches, doesnt take away the nice design LG have done like a full cover would.
Another benefit would be more efficient wireless charging(if charging with case on and using stock LG wireless charger)since no bulky cover, looks to me like LG wireless charger would easily fit between that bumper, could be wrong though.
The Nillkin Bumper is working 100% with wireless charging (at least with the Nokia DT910)

Incipio Area Case Review!

So I decided to try out this new Incipio case called the Area. I went with the frosted version because it's a cool contrast for the black phone, although I like the case so much I might go and try out the black version of it as well!

So when I first got the case, it was a little beefier than I thought from the pictures on Amazon...but it's not a bad thing. The corners are reinforced so that it's definitely protective if it falls. I actually dropped it off my counter in the bathroom and it landed on the floor and protected it fine! (I never drop my phones, so I was lucky I had a beefier case on it this time!!)
The buttons are awesome! They aren't shaped like buttons, but rather, each button has a little raised mark of what it does. The sides of the case are completely flat, but once you're near a button, you feel the outline of it's shape. And on top of it, they're really easy to press, which is hard to find in a gel/tpu case like this.
The frost matte back feels cool, and all of the cutouts are shaped perfectly.
I've got the spigen screen protector on it that wraps around the curve of the device, and there's no issue with this case pulling it up on mine, so that's another plus.
All in all, this is an awesome case for the price.

This case isn't on Incipio website. I believe it's a bit of branding trickery. I ordered one anyways to check it out.

Question Another Great Rugged Case From CaseBorne by ArmadilloTek

After 2 years with the Vanguard case for my s10 plus, I immediately got A52 case from ArmadilloTek ( They told me they are rebranding to CaseBorne)

This case offers very good protection for the phone itself. I just got a new one for my A52-5G after replacing my old S10Plus phone. The Samsung had this case on it for 2 years and survived a number of drops which resulted in small cracks on the case's corners but no damage to the phone. The new version has an orange EVA foam layer inside the case, now I don't need to worry about the scratches, and I am so sure the foam layer can absorb lots of shocks,
Unlike the Supcase, this case does not have a built-in screen protector, which is so much better.
Come one, those plastic SP is flimsy and makes the case feel cheap. The manufacturer just eliminates the screen protector. I installed a glass SP, now it means protection.
I constantly drop my phone and my 5-year-old daughter is a master at knocking my phone out of my hands as well. All that combined could be a disaster for a phone. I've used Otterbox cases in the past and loved them but when I got my phone the Galaxy A52 5g they didn't make a case for it. It's held up great with multiple drops. I actually just dropped my phone on the concrete about 2 minutes before writing this review lol. It will definitely protect your phone from drops and grabby toddlers
You can get one from Amazon:

Looking good, but what about overheating? Does this case allow heat to dissipate properly?
For now, I don't have that problem,, I don't use a52 for gaming or wireless charging.
