I have a galaxy grand .I have rooted it.its running on android 4.1.2.An upgrade is available for it.So when i try to update it ota it says the phone has been modified .I have rooted the phone.so i want to manually upgrade the firmware not through the kies.So How do i upgrade the phone through ODIN or Through CWM.

You would have to download the firmware then manually flash through CWM recovery
help i cant flash stock rom with odin3.07 i have GT-i9802
i downloaded stock firmware from sammobile 4.2.2 before i have 4.1.2 stock firmware
my grand duos came from dubai
question can i flash stock rom right but fail odin said

Try to flash 4.1.2 first. Then update through OTA to 4.2.2

How are you? I am from Bangladesh And a grand prime 530H user. I tried to install lollipop update which is released for russia. But I show some of people able to install that firmware successfully. But I failed!
Anyway, My question is How do I know which is the correct firmware from sammobile.com for grand prime 530H
My Grand Prime Stock Rom Details:

There are two of roms for grand prime 530H...
1. has baseband XXU and
2. with baseband XCU..
In your case (G530HXXU2OC2) .. its XXU .. So any Rom with XXU baseband will work for you... I have installed , G530HXXU2BOH7 base band (india 5.0.2 rom) it is working without any problem..

The download link is an error the firmware is 5.02 not 5.1.1 as stated on the website

It is not 5.1.1. Samfirm downloader just misread it.
