NX506J BT not connecting to BT devices - ZTE Z7, Z7 Max, Z7 Mini

Noticed it first with smartwatch, now same thing with BMW BT. Works for few days than it's not connecting any more. It keeps flapping from connected to disconnected until BMW gives up trying. Also, it keeps renaming it's of BT name to SSID of my wifi at home. Only reboot fixes it.
Now this is a showstopper for me. If this is not solved, I will scrap this phone. I predominantly talk while in the car, and if the phone cannot do that, it's useless for me.

BT GPS feature on a BT HEADSET.

i have a BT-Q818 and one cool feature it has is that it goes on stand by mode once there is no connection. this is the case when i step out of the car. and whenever i start driving again, i seem to have had no pairing issue.
question is, is this FEATURE available on any BLUETOOTH HEADSET? reason being is that i only use my BT HEADSET when i drive and im getting tired with my current HS810 where its a hit and miss. sometimes it would pair and sometimes it would not.
thanks for any input guys.
Upon disconnection, the Nokia HS12-w displays "disconnected". Pressing the play button for a couple of seconds causes it to reconnect (I suspect to the last device it was connected with, but am not sure about that - I can test it if you like).
But even if you switch it off and back on, there is no need to pair again: it just starts searching for paired devices and connects with one of them (alas, no choice regarding what device it connects with, but it does seem to prefer Nokia devices over HTC ones).
The first connection it makes is as a headset (only calls are routed throught it, other sounds still come from the HTC). After pressing another button it also connect as an A2DP device and all sounds from the HTC are routed to it.

Bluetooth question for Devs

Is it possible to put the old android 1.6 bluetooth control into a nexus ROM?
My G1 worked great with my car's built in bluetooth system, but my N1 wants to be a PITA. It refuses to stay connected, it is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting, disconnects after about 30 seconds and reconnects a couple minutes later and then repeats this cycle. (I know this because my car tells me audibly every time this happens) It also will not transfer audio to the system, or the system voice controls will not answer or start calls even when the phone and system show connected (the brief times that it does show connected). That fact makes me wonder if the bluetooth audio problems others complain about is the same issue I am having, and that their phones are not connecting properly as well. I think the issue may be caused by how the N1 treats phonebook access. With the G1 I would get a "connection complete" message when the bluetooth connects and a "transfer complete" message when the phonebook access completes. I never receive the transfer complete message for the N1
The real crazy thing is that I can get it to work if:
I do not have the phones bluetooth turned on
I then get into the car and start the car (its bluetooth then turns on)
I then turn on the phones bluetooth (if the phone does not connect to the system immediately I click connect manually)
I then must make a phone call within just a few seconds after the phone connects
After that everything works as expected. I have found no other combination of turning on or off bluetooth on the phone or car system that also works.
I was having problems with my car audio as well, until I updated to Cyanogen's latest. Everything seems to be working quite well now. What ROM are you using???
Stock ATM. The N1 is good enough stock (as opposed to the G1) but for the lack of free tethering. I'm sure it can be even better though. Staying connected to my cars system seems to be my biggest issue, audio works great when I get it to connect properly.
if got the same issue on my parrot.
but the problem still persists on the latest cyanogen mod
Yeah, I don't know what it is that is different in 2.1, but 1.6 works great with bluetooth.
I don't guess its possable to do, I hope an official fix comes soon.

[Q] Strange Bluetooth issue

So I got the Thunderbolt on release day and the first thing I tried when leaving the store was syncing to my 2011 VW Tiguan. It did sync fine with the phone (handsfree) and phonebook. I was using it without issue until I decided the other day to try streaming media to the radio. Both devices showed that the mediastreaming was paired as well as the headset.
Long story short... it didnt work. No audio was streamed thru the connection. OK so fine. Except now when I connect the phone to the car it first connects the headset and the media streaming profiles and then disconnects the headset. It will not reconnect at all now. (Actually it says that it is paired but disconnected)
I deleted everything and tried to re-pair it to no effect. I changed the phones name as well. I have tried a battery pull from the phone but it will no longer connect the headset profile to the car or download the phonebook.
**UPDATE**
I was able to pair it and use my jawbone headset. Would still like to get the speaker phone working.
Any thoughts? Im in the car for many hours per day and this is going to make me crazy.

Bluetooth problems

Just picked up my C5 Ultra, was happy until I tried to use its bluetooth with my car's built-in system (Mazda).
I have two problems:
- continuous stuttering to the point it's not usable, usually starts 1-2 minutes after starting to play music
- when trying to make a call, the phone doesn't route the call to the car, it shows it sending audio to bluetooth device, but no sound comes it also doesn't respond to the call end button in my car
Anybody else with bluetooth problems? Strange thing is it's only my car, it seems to work fine with my bluetooth headset. And there were no issues with my car with my old phones.
same problem here
Thank God someone posted this. I also have a bluetooth headset and from time to time, there's some stuttering then the music stops playing. To fix this, I have to turn off my bluetooth in my phone and restart my bluetooth headset and pair the two again.
I thought this issue is only limited to audio devices. I bought an LG watch urbane and from time to time, the watch gets disconnected. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try several times. It will only connect if I restart my watch and try to pair it again.
I also have a Moto 360, and there's a lot more random disconnects with this phone than any other phone I've used before. However, it does normally reconnect very quickly. But I did have to disable the vibrate on connect/disconnect because it got to be annoying.
I've given up on my car's bluetooth and using another bluetooth receiver and aux-in to my car's stereo. It seems that the older the bluetooth device, the more likely to have issues. Bluetooth 3.0/4.0 headsets seem to work fine.

by the way, I have tried my watch urbane connecting to my huawei 4x and it doesn't get disconnected randomly. If it gets disconnected because I left my phone from another room, it will quickly get connected again when I'm near unlike the C5 Ultra that needs my watch to be restarted to be able to connect again.
Check In settings -> xperia connectivity -> throw settings -> Auto-select wirelles option if it is close. if not, close and try. Maybe this help
Not working with my Huawei Watch, it gets paired but inmediatly disconnects asking "add as trusted device?" and after that it's imposible to reconnect. Any help will be will be welcomed.
This phone honestly sucks in many ways. I love the hardware but the software and the cpu is the problem on this phone. Bluetooth sucks, slow processor and ...yea..slow loading on everything. I know it's the phone's bluetooth that disconnects my bluetooth earphones and car audio because it never happened on my Nexus 6. We'll just have to wait till Sony releases Marshmallow on our phones.
Bluetooth cuts in and out when paired
Updated to marshmallow and my Bluetooth still cuts in and out when paired to my boss mini speaker .Sony really has to fix this if they want to remain in the competitive cellphone market. If any suggestions on how to solve this issue please help.
After the update I am also having problems with Bluetootn. In sleep mode Bluetootn off. Accordingly, all the time the connection is lost with the Sony SmartWatch 3 hours. Tired of this problem

Yup, bluetooth shutting off is causing all sorts of problems with my Pebble smartwatches too. Basically made them completely useless because of the disconnects soon after the phone is idle.
I'm pretty sure it's tied to the Doze function in Marshmallow, but even when I disable Doze for the Pebble watch app and bluetooth share app, I still have issues. I even got an app called "Disable Doze" to completely turn off Doze functionality. It seems to help, but I still have occasional drops.
Bluetooth seriously sucks on this phone...
Found a solution
I found out what causing that bluetooth disconnects on my Xperia C5 Ultra Dual. It's when wifi and bluetooth are turned on at the same time. I turned off wifi and bluetooth connection is now stable.
My pebble also was disconnecting and it was annoying with all the vibration and it wasn't event reconnecting. But after I turned off the wifi bug is gone. I read that this is a common bug with Xperia Sad...

I'll have to give that a try, I stopped using my C5 because I couldn't stand the bluetooth issues anymore. I'm using, of all things, my 4 year old Nexus 4 now (which I should say works perfectly...)
bluetooth of sonyc5ultra is worst working in connectivity . useless , disconnecting from blue tooth device by its own. Getting irritating by bluetooth issue.
Same Problem here also
I have BLUEDIO bluetooth headphone, it disconnect after restarting bluetooth in my sony c5. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try it again and again the whole day. It only connect if I restart sony c5 and try to pair it again.

Bluetooth Connectivity Issues

I have three Bluetooth items I use every day. With the G5, I've had to delete each of them, turn Bluetooth off and then on again and pair them again to get a connection after a disconnect.
I use Bluetooth headphones, a Moto 360, and a bluetooth adapter in my car. On my S6E I was able to connect, disconnect, and reconnect with no problems at all, but today has been a seriously frustrating day going between devices.
Anyone else seeing this?
