[ROM][4.4.4][SM-G360H]SlimPickinsDuos stock,rooted,de-(-bloated,-odexed,-knoxed),etc. - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime ROMs, Kernels, Recoverie

Built this rom using a combination of kitchens built by the people credited in the special thanks section and my general knowledge of the android operating system. Probably going to have some errors as this is a beta version and it has not been tested thoroughly yet because I do not have the device myself. Don't forget to backup first!
Obviously (you should be used to seeing this) if you've gotten this far you should realize your warranty is void and I am not to be held accountable for any unfortunate events that may happen to your phone during this process.
Features:
Root
Busybox
Zipalign Apps on Boot
Init.D Support (Battery Life Tweak, dalvik vm optimisation, Move Dalvik to Cache, Better LMK Configuration, Internet Optimization Tweaks, Sd card Readahead tweak) < All Tweaks can be removed manually via init.d folder

Changelog:
Ver.1 -Initial Release
Ver.2 -Added init.d and tweaks, more debloat and trying to fix gappslessness. Also Deknoxed and added zip align on boot

{Reserved}

Looks like so far it's booting, but then there's issues with lockscreen potentially and gapps needs to be fixed, so it's not fully functional yet.

I have another version with gapps still in tact, I might end up uploading that temporarily until I can figure out what going on with it.

I think u should make a ROM with gapps included

I'll include the version with gapps in the next upload, which should be coming soon. The only reason I hesitated putting it up in the first place is I'm afraid once I get a working version with Google pre-installed (which should be much easier) I might lose my tester(s) due to satisfaction with the roms current state. Whereas I definitely know it's possible to fully remove gapps and let the user decide whether or not and which size gapps they'd like to install, because I've seen it done multiple times and I have accomplished it myself with the previous version of slimpickins for core prime

over 100 downloads of ver 2 . Anyone have any more feedback on the newer version?
Sent from my SM-G360T1 using Tapatalk

I'm installing it again, in the instructions u have said ROM first, gapps second but there is a gapps included version too rit? So in that just directly install the ROM?

Correct

Wasn't able to include any because I don't have the device myself. Should look similar to my other version of slim pickins though( http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...rom-slimpickins-stock-rooted-bloated-t3250883 ), except that I haven't added any apps into this rom yet so it still has the stock launcher, file manager and internet browser. If I start getting more activity on this thread then screenshots and custom apps could be added. Maybe @rudyalwin would be willing to post some?

@koognod could you theme the rom like systemui or other system apps?

Only by using tweaks already available, I personally do not have the knowledge required to edit these stock apps myself.

[ROM][4.4.2][ND7][7/3] SR Remix KitKat | Stable | DeOdex | Zipaligned | Fast

Welcome! If you found yourself looking for something like CleanROM based on the new 4.4.2 OTA, then you have come to the right place. Scott has moved on to other devices, so I decided to follow along with what he started. This has been thoroughly tested by myself and others with no issues. Want stability you can trust? I have not had a reboot with this ROM, nor have any testers. For best results, please follow the installation instructions below!
About:
Stock Look & Feel
Stable
Fast & Smooth
Based on the new FND7 OTA from VZW
Features:
Rooted (SuperSU)
Init.d enabled
Busybox
DeOdexed
Bloat Removed
Wifi Tether Fix
3 Way Reboot Menu
Updated Samsung and Google apps in /System
Build.prop tweaks for performance
What works:
Everything
What doesn't:
Nothing!
Credits:
Chainfire for SuperSU
killa408shark for testing
@icedventimocha for 3 way reboot
Phil3759 for the wonderful recovery
scrosler for CleanROM
jbeitel for the 1% battery mod xml's and images
Team N3BULA - @lacoursiere18 ; @Deckoz2302 ; @fkfmfz - Because they are awesome!
Installation:
Must have recovery installed (I recommend either Philz or CWM)
Copy ROM to external SDcard
Flash the new 4.3 firmware with Odin 3.07 from the OTA found HERE!
Reboot to current ROM
Reboot to Recovery
Wipe Data/Factory reset (I always do 3x for good measure)
Wipe Cache (Again, I always do 3x for good measure)
Wipe Dalvik Cache
I recommend formatting System, Cache, Data, and /sdcard (internal memory) on first install but this may not be completely necessary as it will wipe absolutely everything. If you decide to wipe the internal memory, make sure your backups and this ROM is stored on the external sdcard.
Flash ROM
Profit!
A couple things to note:
This is built from the OTA tar. Not another ROM or the leak!
If you use a different kernel, do not report issues until you verify issue with stock (included kernel).
If you do not flash firmware with Odin and use Mobile Odin instead, do not report issues until you flash FW with Odin on the computer.
I am not responsible if you brick your phone, but of course you would know that if you are flashing this.
Of course your warranty is already voided from rooting your phone.
If you would like to use this as a base, please include me in your credits and link to this thread.
I am in general a very busy person, so I like to rely on you and other XDA members to help eachother. That is what this is all about right? I will continue to update this as I feel necessary. With my flashing habit, that may be alot
I built this ROM for my personal use and decided to share because of how well it works.
I am not a themer, so don't expect any fancy themes! If you would like to create a theme and share, please let me know and I will add it to the OP. This goes for any other MOD. I am happy to add things to the builds if they work well and you want to contribute.

Also Note: If you do not clean flash this and use an email exchange account, please remove your exchange account before flashing and re-add it after install. Otherwise you will experience FC issues.

I'm up and running! Almost got to impatient during the Verizon boot but I just set it aside... didn't take long.
I can't get the WiFi to turn on.... I've seen this before and I thought flipping the Mobile Data off and on would fix the issue but it didn't work. I wiped my internal sdcard because I had too many backups. I will keep playing around with it, like I said I've seen this before I just can't recall what I did to fix it....

Did you flash firmware before or after flashing the rom? Does the switch immediately go back to off or does it try to turn on and eventually go back to off?
Also make sure you verify MD5 hash on both the firmware and rom download.

Sooo, MIUI renamed?
Looks good, kind of the spawn of MIUI and Color OS. I love these Chinese ROMs, so much more colorful than CM. Will definitely give this some time.
Cheers for sharing !!!

So far so good, however few problems. Upon reboot I need to keep entering WiFi password or else it sticks to 4g. Also on reboot it comes up with that aosp starting menu fpr when pu flash a new rom which asks for the language and upon clicking English it says settings has stopped, the work around is to pull down notification panel, go to settings then press home. Apart from that, so far so good. Can we use kernels with this rom ie franco?

Changed dpi successfully to 380, looks waaaay better. Btw, has anyone tried xposed?
Looks VERY similar to IUNI which is no bad thing as I love that ROM. However, IUNI is ColorOS based so idle battery can be a problem.
Hopefully this camera app can stand up to IUNI/ColorOS offerings.
Uninstalled most unused system apps such as the app store and keyboards but now I cant type passwords in any apps with Google Keyboard. Can someone please give me the apk for the yuni input method please... Can't get on to Facebook Twitter etc

Gapps don't really mean anything by 4.4.4 or 4.4.2, they're just google apps in a zip file

well we'll see what future brings hehe, working, wife and 2 kids, not much work left for cooking, we need to collect all those mods in one place so everybody could choose what mod they want/need... could be in post 2, i needed those 2 mods, thats why i added them in the base. Rest can be as flashable zips.

A MOD section in post 2 is a great idea. Keep the base ROM as clean as possible and let the users decide what they want to flash. Thanks for your time&work.

[ROM] [KERNEL] [18 May] [AOE3 Base] [G920F & G920S] StockMOD6 ~~CleanSlate~~ [v1-05]
StockMOD6 ~CleanSlate~ for Galaxy S6
G920F
Presenting StockMOD6 CleanSlate ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S6 G920F & G920S
Features
- Based on 920i AOE3 Stock ROM
- StockMOD Kernel v02d
- All Market Available (Google Play Store / Galaxy Store) bundled apps removed for true user choice
- Includes all Galaxy S6 Specific apps (Store, Svoice, Splanner, SHealth etc)
- KNOX Totally removed and disabled
- SmartManager Removed
- BusyBox
- Rooted (SuperSU)
- init.d Scripts support in /system/etc/init.d
- ODEX'd
- Build.prop Tweak
- Very clean running services - no garbage or secret Samsung SpyWare
- Hosts file for adblocking
- UK BTU Firmware based CSC
- WiFi Calling, Camera Shutter Sound Control and Camera during call CSC Tweaks
I Always build a ROM like this for myself on any device I own. I always share them even if there are other ROMs out there that are similar. Feel free to download, mirror, and share the ROM with others if you like it.
Instructions
Download the ROM and copy it to the phone storage. Reboot phone into recovery (twrp recommended) and install the ROM. During installation the /system, /cache and davlik-cache will be wiped for you so there is no need to do this manually. You do not have to do a full wipe including /data, although this *is* recommended for your first installation. Subsequent releases of this rom will fully support an existing /data partition.
First boot will take a little longer than usual, and if you have done a full wipe you will need to set the phone up following the normal OOB wizard. If, when running the OOB wizard, it indicates a problem "contacting google servers" simply hit back (lower left soft button) then next again and it will work normally.
As of v1-03, StockMOD ROM uses my custom kernel, StockMOD Kernel. Because we cannot generate signed kernel images, SE Linux has to be disabled. This will break "Private Mode". Please do not ask me to fix that, I cannot.. You can view the kernel thread here

v1-02
- Added missing CSC, based on UK BTU Firmware CSC. Other regions will need manual keyboard language download (keyboard settings) and APN settings applied if not automagically detected
- Added WiFi Calling, Shutter Sound Control , Camera during call CSC Tweaks
v1-01
- Bit more of a cleanup
- Reworked build.prop tweaks for more speed and smoothness
v1-00

Info for other Devs
Feel free to disassemble and use any part of my rom you wish. However, please remember to give due credit to others if you include any components of their work.
If you like the structure of my flashable .zips please feel free to copy, alter and implement it in your own releases. I find it gives the rom a much more modular feel when building and testing, and opens up more options for special inclusions without modifying the base files itself.

Hi!
Can you help me with something?
I see you completely removed smart manager.
May I ask how?
Because I froze the smartmanager apk with titanium but now I see some drain in gsam with smartmanager framework thread and smartmanager framework message.
Is there something still active in the background while only freezing the apk?
Huge thanks in advance!!
I have v1.01 ready to upload which contains some fixups and more cleanups, and a revised set of build.prop tweaks. its extra smooth with a side order of lubricant

dont forget, to get around the deepsleep bug, you will have to:
CFRoot > Flash TWRP > Flash Stock Recovery again > Flash TWRP again
then you can go a'flashin

Xposed - Click this link and download the xposed-v65-sdk21-arm-arter97-V5-krait.zip version
Now click this link for XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
Flash the v5-krait.zip in recovery and just install the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk like a normal application
The dev has requested that all xposed talk remain out of his thread and it isn't to be discussed. This is because the rom uses heavy on the fly themeing options that might not be compatible.
I personally do use xposed on this rom, just not theme modules. Works great with modules such as Greenify, Powernap, Amplify, etc.
Installation
1. Download ROM and/or extra mods to sd card
2. (If already on Lollipop, flash NC2 kernel via NC2 Flashed by benwaffle or using Odin) (If on KitKat, then reboot to safestrap recovery)
3. Advance wipe everything except Micro SD card x 3 times
4. Flash ROM
5a. Flash Wifi Fix
5b. Flash modem (ONLY needed if you are coming from KitKat/NC2))
6. Flash any other mods if you downloaded them
7. Flash OC1 Lollipop kernel
8. Reboot system

Yes you do because this is a lollipop rom and you need the lollipop kernel to boot your phone up. You might need the lollipop modem if your signal isn't strong enough but it should be..

In the process of downloading the dark theme, but it looks like an Aroma installer. If so, you'd have to install via FlashFire
EDIT: Nvm I guess. I saw him mention Aroma settings and assumed.
We all know what they say about people that assume, of course...
Is there a way to boot into Safestrap after installing?

Hey, great rom. Love the removal of all the bloat. One problem for me, though. I like to use live wallpapers. Can you provide the necessary files to get my live wallpapers up running, without having to flash the full "Bloatware" zip you provided? Thanks.

Dirty flash the rom again and flash dark theme right after that
After flashing the rom I can no longer access safestrap. When rebooting I don't have the option to load recovery nor is there an option once the phone has booted up (via the power menu or other). Can anyone help me with this? Am I missing something? Any insight would be appreciated.
