Yes, it does use layers. For viper4audio try to flash this through recovery.

For now, Stock + Cataclysm Mod (Jan 05) + ElementalX kernel is the way!!!
As an alternative, I would recommend Stock + Xposed + Gravity Box + ElementalX...

Bugs i found:
Images flickers up nd down when pressing 3dot menu on gallery.
Edit: i found another one.
When you reboot your phone while on "LTE Only" signal goes crazy. Roaming turns on and off. Signal appears and disappears. Try and see for yourself.

I'll add some screenshots soon, but we currently have no Spanish translations other than what is in AOSP itself. We will be looking for a translator shortly.

I have installed this ROM, but i have this message that my G3 isn't rooted

many layers themes do not work properly . for example layers magpie , incorrectly applied accent colors and primary. how to solve ?

@Yoshi_Guy just came here ro say a huge thanks! It has everything i ever wanted in a single rom and all running great so far! You even built 3.4.110 kernel without hissing and stuff! My new favorite rom by far! And layers are a nice change from the cm theme engine... Will follow your thread daily!
Viper for android is there, prevent accidental wake up is there , there is even choice to select what color i wish the button animation to be... Cant tell everything i like but one thing is for sure... Its the most complete for me!

If you've installed this and you don't have SuperSU, install it from the Play Store and it will work, no reboot required. I'm currently having issues getting the app to appear after an install but root is there.

I don't have any problems installing layers theme, though I will say sometimes the configuration for the install of some layers themes is tricky. I have magpie and I don't have issues. My personal favorite Layers theme is Grounge, which works perfectly

What do you mean by it doesn't work? Are you saying you can't connect to the 4g network or are you saying you have no data? Make sure your APN settings are correct in Settings > Cellular networks.

Try with stock kernel at least for a day. Then think of custom kernel

You'll have to try and see if it works :fingers-crossed: If it doesn't, then use any app as suggested by @Rinku.Batra

My apologies Nitin if i didn't do that already[emoji40]
The rom is really good and almost perfect except that DPI issues. Also, the camera needs to be tweaked more as the images arnt very clear.
I guess the DPI has been kept for YU so YU+ users need to fix that personally.
I have already tested xposed and its working fine here.
I'm just loving the layers option and all the hard work you have put in is very clearly visible
Gr8 job with this ROM
Will do a bit more testing and will report.

Yes, please remove xposed and then observe.
If it still reboots, then please report back. I'll be interested in having logcat for that.

That's not the issue anymore. Even if it is not working there is a fix available for it. You can implement it manually.

Absolutely a nice ROM. Love layers instead of themes. Missing Slim Dim and am not a fan of Launcher3, but that's all.

Nice to see many ROMs for Moto X
I've been running the rom since yesterday. Smoother than what I've found in other CM based roms, and haven't had a crash or random reboot since installing it. Couple of things worth noting: the aosp audio patch is needed. Also, screen pining is not working properly. It actually pins the page, but I haven't been able to get out unless I do a reboot. No NFC. And, the LCD density changer didn't work for me, but it wasn't a big deal since I edited the build prop. Other than that I haven't had an issue with others apps.

I think they are different and CM has more themes to choose.
btw, is Turbo ROM bootable on your device? It does not boot on my device. Stuck at boot animation
Layers is different. It booted for me. I'm using banks gapps. Make sure you do a clean install, that could be the problem.

I use banks dynamic gapps. Let me try again.
It did not boot with Dynamic Gapps. When I use gapps from openapps.org, it boots.
No audio for incoming and outgoing calls, else very smooth rom, if the call bug is fixed would love to use it as a daily driver

Any kernal recommended for this rom? The charging is too slow

Was using that before, had random reboot issues plus this is much smoother, haven't faced any lag or any reboot issues for a month now

Installed this ROM last night. Was hoping it wouldn't have the battery bug that exists in Cyanogenmod 13 and OctOS. Unfortunately the bug exists here too. My phone died at 30% battery today.
The other issue that also seems to exist on all Marshmallow Moto X ROMs is the fact that CPU Usage and Battery Usage doesn't list all apps, only system ones. Is there any fix for this?
Gps signal is too weak for me on CID12 based firmware compared to stock, the gps can lock but can maintain it and it takes so long to catch satellites, can we manage to make some tests? i dont know which part of stock system is the one who determines the gps behaviour more than gps.conf that doesnt seem to change anything, i think its something with the cid12 modem and the rom based in another modem or somewhat, am i wrong?
