Hello XDA lovers. Its my first thread over xda and also my first project i am talking about..... i have decided to make custom rom for the Canvas selfie lens. A great device with good performance but a change is always better . The custo recovery i am using will be CTR Recovery still cant post links . Now i do have some queries regarding setting up the Android Kitchen. Would love to get some help just with some questions i own the device and i would love to handle the things myself but in case some help would be great to have.

is there any developer who can help me a little in porting roms....i have ported blisspop rom for my q345. But it gives me installation error status 7 in CTR recovery

And the phone is awesome.
I have read reviews complaining about photo quality. But I am more than impressed by the camera quality.
Apart from occasional heating problem while continuously using camera or charging I am very happy.:cyclops:

Awesome phone
Must say its a awesome phone battery is superb touch is good , games are also k until now have difficulty with nfs most wanted its lagging while playing and also browsing menus. Have not tried rooting the phone yet until testing is over. Hope someone releases some good rom

MIUI V5 English rom
Hey there are lots of roms for Coolpad 7295 (from which Spice Mi-515 is rebranded) at ydss.cn (ydss is kinda xda of china. It contains lots of resources for chinese phones like Xaomi, Coolpad, OPPO etc)
It contains MIUI, LEWA n lots more but most of them in chinese . I've made an english miui rom from those roms n will post it by tomorrow.

This mobile works amazingly great and new rom will be great too.
Please provide us information about the rom which you will provide to us like Android version, and the steps to save our existing apps using some useful backup technique.
Also, the apps which you will be installing in it.
And top of that, a link for the original rom, just in case, we need to switch to original.

Well i have already ported that miui v5 rom..it seems to be stable for daily use
Its kernel 3.4.5 and android 4.2

NO you can you would brick your device dont ever try that unless it is ported for yr phone by some dev

I have built android 4.3 rom for mi 515. It's a clone rom of note 3 with all fetaures like air gesture, smart scroll, smart stay working except multi window(as if I will enable multi window rom wll be of very large size it's still 414 mb). I some on want it pls contact me.

Hello is there any way to get 4.2 like quick settings toggle in stock rom any zip or xposed module pls help I want those toggles but I don't want to flash any rom as it becomes slow after flashing rom

give me the link..If you have built this rom, then you can even build android lollipop right, coz you will have all required kernel source files and etc. Also please share all the files you have related to Spice coolpad mi-515. And share the link for 4.3 rom also. I am waiting for lollipop rom for this device. Please do it, I know you can do it!

Hey bro can u provide me full twrp backup of spice mi 515 including nvram, i've lost cellular connectivity after flashing stock rom via sp flash tool. I have tried almost anything found on internet to fix this problem but nothing worked, last option is to restore all the partitions as it was in past but since i have no backup of this device i couldn't do anything without someone's help. So, please provide me backup of all the partitions if u can, it will be very very.......helpful to me.

Unfortunately in addition to the issue with Cyanogenmod only officially supporting single SIM devices, it would be quite difficult if not impossible to add full functionality for all aspects of your device because it uses a Mediatek Chipset and Micromax and Mediatek don't provide the kernel source code that would be necessary to get everything on your device working properly on a custom ROM like Cyanogenmod.

I have ported a twrp for Micromax E483...Now the way is open for developers to create or port custom roms like cm,pacman ROM etc..
But as I have a little knowledge about porting or modifying ROMs,I am begging to the developers if they take time in porting ROMs to our device...
The stock ROM can be found by searching on google(androidmtk.com)
It will be very much appreciated if any dev ports such types of ROM(specially cm)..

Can you port my mmx e455 recovery to twrp stock recovery file is given below. I hav tried to port this recovery but it becomes 35mb but my mmx e455 axcepts only 32 mb. Thanx in advance
