- fixes for loading custom themes (_that)
- TWRP will now detect and install TWRP themes automatically through the normal zip install process (Dees_Troy)
- translation updates - added Italian, Czech and Polish and significant updates to Dutch
- progress bar improvements - progress bar updates during image flashing and better tracks progress during file system backups (tar) (Dees_Troy)

I released TWRP 3.0.0-0 on other forums and what happened. They just decompiled my image, made changes to prop file and changed TWRP title to their names so as to claim as if it's built by them. Please respect the developer (I ain't one, just a starter) and if you want to build one, build one from the source.

Both are compatible with Marshmallow. r1 and r2 just indicates releases. r2 has more bugs fixed than r1. Hence go with r2.

1. It is an image file and can be flashed through fastboot.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery_name.img
2. It is not for Kitkat but if you need one, I can upload a test version for you
3. You can download Android Marshmallow Beta for Pakistan from here https://cloud.mail.ru/public/Gzqd/mJNsxm6AB . However, I haven't personally tested it.

Which Rom are you using on your Honor 4c?
And If Andriod M, how did you update it?
What you suggest, Andriod M is better or Andriod L for honor 4C?
This beta version is developed by you or someone else?
and can it directly be flashed on Pakistan Lolipop Rom?
I am sorry, I am at Lolipop, not kitkat.

1. I am on Marshmallow. Changed my region to Malaysia when I was on Kitkat.
2. Android M is much better, stable and smoother than Android 5.1.1
3. I didn't developed the beta version. It's officially released by Huawei in a closed beta test.

Beta version is released by Huawei Pakistan?

Hi.
Looks und feels good.
For first time I was irritated, because the backup folder changed. So I can't find my backups with previous TWRP version.
And the backup duration needs the double time.
TODO
- Fix /data/cust symlink and /data/custom.bin being destroyed after wiping /data/partition
Should I not use "wiping data partition" for the moment?? Because it destroy sometimes or is it harmless??

Yes, you shouldn't wipe Data partition and Factory Reset using TWRP. It destroys custom.bin and /cust/ symlink which holds vendor and firmware information. I have fixed it but the method isn't robust at the moment. As soon as I find a good alternate to the fix, I'll update TWRP.

AOSP 8.0.0 - Honor 7x
Introduction
Welcome to our first release for the Honor 7X. At this time, the rom state is Beta.
This is AOSP 8.0, based on the Nougat firmware released for the 7X.
How to install:
Download the rom from the Downloads section
Wipe data from TWRP and remove encryption
Flash the provided zip file
(Optional) Install Gapps if you are going to use them (now's the moment)
Reboot (it may take some time)
Known bugs:
Camera (both of them)
Bluetooth (intentionally disabled)
VoLTE
How to seek help or report a bug:
As always, we need as much information as possible to be able to fix any bug you may come across, so be descriptive and supply as much detail as you can when reporting a bug, not just "wifi not work...help pls".
Finally, I just want to thank the rest of the OpenKirin team (@surdu_petru, @OldDroid) for their huge contributions and all of you for your support.
Keep in mind, this is the first release, we want to see how it's working on the rest of variants and see how to improve it. The bluetooth issue will be fixed in the next update (it's disabled by now) and the cameras will hopefully be fixed as well soon, I'll provide more details in the coming days.
P.S: If you don't have TWRP I have uploaded a basic one in the Downloads section for you to flash the rom.

Been W8ing for this brother thnks...
Nice thanks for the work!!!
I will test on my PRA-LX1 and see if will boot since we share same platform, the hi6250!
Edited: tested, isn't booted, it's better to wait the official update.
where is the download?
Load page in your browser, then you will see the download tab
Maybe you can use the vendor partition (or some of it). The kernel source is already up, I'll upload the device and vendor tree shortly.

thanks, a curious question, I'm wonder if the hi6250 platform will get treble project support once got emui oreo?
Definitely, the Huawei P Smart and Honor 9 Lite have project treble enabled already, so I guess it will roll out to the rest of devices

Thanks for the first AOSP ROM . I can't try right now as I need booth Bluetooth and Volte for my daily usage and I expected they'll fixed soon.
When I read the post that there won't be EMUI 8 till Q2 of 2018.I thought without Treble Support I wouldn't be seeing any custom Roms but here I'm. Thanks again man
Thats great..

Which article says that emui 8 isn't coming out until Q2?
Nvm, found it. Checked that thread right after I replied here. Bummer right?!
Thank you so much for making this rom , i've installed this rom on my huawei honor 7x the international version , i noticed one tiny issue (maybe im doing something wrong) but i can;t seem to get gapps to install , i've tried installing open gapps , when i do that it shows a message in twrp that says my device is nougat and arm based , what i did is i just wiped data , i think that removes the encryption right ? but overall the rom works great , it's stable , and the one other issue is the builtin keyboard kept crashing , so i installed gboard, if you need any logs let me know so i can post them here
Edit:
gapps are working now , turns out i wiped the system partion before installing the zip and that messed some stuff up , but now i restored system and it worked fine , only other bug i found is the fingerprint doesnt seem to work

I'll check tomorrow morning, must be some different files more in pie then in oreo. I'll look what i can do.
I flashed this rom and everything works nicely, i had a random reboot but other then that everything seems ok...If your getting white screen after installing this maybe you forgot to flash also the firmware provided, you need to flash it after flashing the rom...If that doesnt solve your problems then i dont know other solutions

Everything is working quite nicely, but playstore shows device not certified and therefore Netflix and Amazon prime video aren't working.

white screen too... sad
I also got the white screen. It's not frozen or anything though. Messing around, I was able to open the camera and change the volume. The UI looks nice so far.....
The camera app seems to be missing all the buttons at the bottom of the interface for me
Hey guys, I just flashed this ROM and I'm getting slight performance issues and I was thinking of flashing another kernel. Any suggestions? Besides that everything seems to be working great!
Edit: Nvm it's amazing
everything works fine here !

Thank you so much for the hard work mate! ✌
One question:
Is the FW of Moto G6 (Ali) upgradable?
Or it comes included with the ROM zip?
Also, I just flashed latest version and it says it's 3.6.1, not 3.6.2. Is that right?

How can we check the FW version?
The baseband maybe?
I'm pretty sure I updated 2 years ago or more, I don't remember, to the latest official stock ROM via OTA. I wanted to check the numbers, just that.

Running 'fasboot getvar all' is a good way to check and compare values. My US Retail G6 was updated through OTA to the final official update PPS29.118-15-11-16. Bootloader version 'MBM-2.1-ali_retail-a49aaf13a93-200423', baseband 'M450_23.31.10.89R ALI_NA_CUST' and release key '3afd9'.

Yeah, I have the exact same baseband version. Is that enough to guarantee we have the same version and the latest?

It can be tricky with Motorola devices because sometimes elements like the baseband aren't updated each version, see if you notice discrepancies in the other values.
You can always grab the stock PPS29.118-15-11-16 from lolinet and flash it. If you're running a custom ROM, I suggest backing up your data, flashing the entire image, then reinstalling the custom ROM. Attempting to update the radio/bootloader over a custom software has given me a few blankflash-level bricks before.

Team Win Recovery Project [aka TWRP] is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface that allows users to install third-party firmware and back up the current system, functions often unsupported by stock recovery images. It is, therefore, often installed when rooting Android devices, although it isn't dependent on a device being rooted to be installed.

Hi there,
This is the unofficial build based on the official TWRP sources for the POCO X3 [NFC] !
WHAT'S WORKING ? [Everything +++]
- Backup/Restore
- Encryption support : all A11 custom roms
- adb sideload
- fastbootd : for flashing GSI builds and other stuff ! (advanced users only ++++)
- flashing special images
- switch between custom roms without any issue
- miscellaneous : OTG, brightness & vibration control
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE [First Time]
Required firmware version : [R][11] [Mandatory +++]
For Android [Q][10], use the lower version [3.4.0-0]
- Unlock your bootloader
- Enable ADB from MIUI Settings > Developer options
- Plug your USB cable to your Windows PC and type :
adb reboot bootloader
then :
fastboot flash recovery <twrp-xxxx>.img
fastboot reboot recovery
. For MIUI users Only :
After a long investigation, i find out that the command " fastboot boot <twrp-xxxx>.img " is no longer working in Android [11] to avoid overwriting TWRP by the Stock MIUI Recovery. Because the code to do this wicked job after every reboot is inside the stock "init" binary.
So to finally stop this mess :
(after doing)
fastboot reboot recovery
Flash Magisk (rename it to .zip) in TWRP menu ... This will overwrite the original "init" with the Magisk one ... That's All !
This workaround should work for all devices with android 11 oem software pre-installed ! (tested on my oneplus 8 too)
DATA BACKUP & RESTORE PROCEDURE
- Create your backup in the internal storage, for faster process.
- Transfer the created "TWRP" folder to your PC/Micro-SD/USB Stick ... for future use & emergency !
- To restore "Data" again, just do the simple "wipe" before or restore on the fly !
If you do "format", your encryption files will be lost and you can't restore your "data" again, unless you boot to the system then reboot to TWRP to do the simple wipe again and restore !
TOOLS & GUIDES [must read +++]

. LOS 18.1 : SafetyNet Fix & Full System Optimization
. GCam Fix : AOSP 11 / OSS 11

OK guys & girls,
Your ROM developer missed something very important in the fstab.qcom (userdata string) ... this flag : "wrappedkey".
Without this, no recovery in the whole galaxy will be able to decrypt your data !
Yes, you have a faulty build. I made for you (and him) the fix. So ask him to add it in the next build !
You have to flash again your build followed with this fix, then format data is mandatory even if he put the fix after ... there is no other way !
He should recognize this error ! (he should also be very careful and test his build before uploading)
As you can see, with the fix, TWRP is able to decrypt /data partition again !
Cheers

To make it short : that's a wrong encryption in ArrowOS ! No rom developer use that (pixel, lineageos, miui ... etc) in any recent device !
Brigudav has made his own version of TWRP to support that error !
I'm telling you how the things should be done ... that's it. If you are happy with brigudav recovery, that's good for you !
