According to the wiki...This device has 2 custom roms..But i could not find any of them...
The Galaxy Star 2 Plus ships with Android 4.4.2 "Kit Kat". Unofficially there are two CyanogenMod custom ROMs built by developer called SandPox: CyanogenMod 12.1 (based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop) and CyanogenMod 11 (based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat).

Yes, but would have to be a custom / non Samsung based rom.

Looks like CM11 and Omni are the only ones to check out currently.
Is there any development been done for this phone (Samsung Galaxy 5.8 DUOS (GT-I9152) ? CM 11 (kitkat 4.4.2)? i also see that samsung will release a stock version of 4.4.2 kitkat for this model around in june 2014 (this month).

Sadly, No custom ROM/CM 11 or any sort of modded ROM for our device.....

Hello there folks.
I checked some of the custom-roms here for a samsung galaxy s 3.
(Installed a C.M on moto g.... got it to 4.4 and then upgraded to 5.x and hardbricked it life is funny )
Can anyone tell me how to choose a Rom ? (there is a sheer number of roms to choose from)
They all seem nice I know that some come with KitKat and some come with 5.x.
Any recommendations for a stable Rom ?
Any recommendation for a Rom with a new OS (5.x) ? (even a less stable one )
And is it okay if I follow the instructions for installing a Rom from the official site of C.M ?
Any tips on how to backup ?

I got an Aurora II yesterday and I want to update the rom to the newest one of official rom (Android 4.1.1 20121210, accroding the internet) or android 4.2.2 custom rom (or maybe newer?), but resources I found are all dead.
Is there anyone can provide one?
