[MOD]DSP Manager[Stock] - Galaxy S3 Neo Themes and Apps

This is my first move in Android developing so don't expect too much.
How was made:
- just copied CM11 audio drivers and DSPManager.apk to stock ROM.
Bugs (as far as I know):
- stock music player won't work, use third party (I use Shuttle)
- voice recording playback in apps like WhatsApp or Telegram won't work (trying to fix...)
If you encouter any other bugs, feel free to report them here.
How to install:
- make a system backup, just to be sure you will not lose anything (I make backups using TWRP 3.0.0-0)
- flash the zip
- reboot
DOWNLOAD ONLY IF YOU SAW BUG LIST!!!

GAPPS: http://www.mediafire.com/download/0kd1p01a5kzpocx/mini-kk-gapps-20131203.zip
Instructions: !!!Be aware that im not responsible for any damage that can cause this rom!!!
1. Be sure that you have installed 4.0.3 stock official rom from huawei.
2. Now you need to install TWRP/CWM recovery.
To do it download zip with Automated installer of TWRP/CWM/STOCK Recoveries to PC, unpack it in the place you like on PC, run install_recovery.cmd and follow onscreen instructions.
2. Then download CyanogenMod 11 for Huawei Mediapad, Google apps and place them on your internal or external sd.
3. Boot in TWRP/CWM Recovery, then choose Backup and confirm operation (you will get full backup of stock rom).
4. If you want flash rom on top of previous cm10/pa rom - skip this part and go to 5.
Otherwise If you goes from stock or other rom then Press back to go to main menu and choose Wipe there and choose Factory reset there and confirm operation .
5. Press back again and choose Install, then find downloaded zip rom, choose it and and confirm operation .
6. Press back again and choose Install, then find downloaded zip with Gapps, choose it and confirm operation .
7. Then reboot in system and enjoy CyanogenMod 11 rom on your Mediapad
PLS notice: twrp/cwm recoveries are intended to use with custom roms like cm11/pa/aokp. In stock huawei rom internal memory is mounted to data/shared. But custom recoveries have an option to bypass only internal memory that mounted to data/media. So for stock rom these recoveries will do backup of internal memory during backup and will do wipe during factory reset. But they wont do it for custom roms like cm10/pa etc.

Hey zyr3x,
I've one question:
What about the "battery tweaks" in the "HuaweiMediapad settings"?
How do these tweaks work?
Greets Gunnar
Wow...
Which GAPPS to use...the ones in this thread, in the first post, or the ones for CM11 here:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps
It looks like there are more apps in the ones in the link than the mini apps zip in this thread. If we can get the rest from the Google Store, the mini apps is better.
In the link, there's mention of ART compatible for one zip and states that ART should not be enabled for the other. I read up on ART. This is something that will be/is replacing Dalvik. Can anyone explain why one would be ART compatible and the other wouldn't?
I'll probably be trying all of them out, if others don't know.
Thanks.

use the gapps which are recommended by the developer. Others are not working correctly. Have tried by myself and finally got everything working so far with the recommended version. Even if the smaller would save space...

Unfortunately, I have not solved even by this method ... I believe that it is appropriate to return to the stock 4.0.3 rom
mediapad has poor quality battery, it starts losing capacity after half year
I'm close to three times that and I can see no battery wear.

This method look helped to earn 5 hours display time... and I think it will be even more a bit.
thank you very much for your work ... I wanted to point out that the last link of 18:01 does not work ...

First, thanks for this great ROM. Everything is working smooth.
I have one big problem: My Wi-Fi MAC-address changes every time I switch it on. I tried wiping cache/dalvik and also tried setting a custom MAC in the settings but nothing helped. As I am filtering MACs in my Wi-Fi network it's a real big problem for me.
Has anyone else noticed this too?

FAQ
- WiFi not working? Try a soft reboot, should work then. You'll need to do this after every full reboot - FIX: Turn WiFi off before Powering off/Rebooting
- Must SELinux be Permissive? Although many AOSP ROM's require SELinux Permissive, this one does not, Chrome and the Play Stock work just fine! (Thanks to @bokchoi2020), If on NK1, flash the SELiniux Fix!
- ROM Slot Compatible? This can be flashed in a ROM slot, however, it /may/ affect WiFi in the stock slot (depends on your setup), and I do not provide direct support for ROM Slot Setups.
- Must I ODIN to NC5/NK1? Not necessarily, as long as you haven't flashed many partitions, for ex, if you had a custom ROM, and flashed a newer modem, you will have no trouble, but if you had previously flashed a different Non-HLOS, or hidden.IMG, it will most likely not work.
- MTP Doesn't Work? I'm aware, and @bokchoi2020 and I may have a fix in the works.
- I want x feature included? Post it up, but be specific, and use the "Feature request" tab at the top.
- Data issues? Use the vzw-APNfix.zip and use change APN from the Play Store. If that fails, try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=58598354
- Want WiFi Hotspot? Use the included WiFi AP app.

Suggestion taken, zip in the flashable mods section.
Note to all; If you are looking for a new feature, Could you please use the "Feature Request" Tab at the top? It would be very appreciated, and would help me keep track of what you guys want.
Cheers as always.
Didn't flash...
When I first tried to flash this, I got the following error(s): Error executing updater binary in zip ' /external_sd/Kitpopv1-02-01-15x.zip' Error flashing zip ' /external_sd/Kitpopv1-02-01-15x.zip'.
I'm running eclipse ROM, using the latest safestrap 3.75, and before I flashed I advanced wiped everything but external SD. Thoughts?
Is there a way to disable the on-screen buttons? They are nice and all but they take-up some of the screen's real estate

Looking into it now. Flashed this and tested right before upload.. it could be a bad download? Would you mind trying again? If not, then its a bad upload... and that means re-uploading on my end -_- sigh...
EDIT: Figured it out. I uploaded the unsigned zip. Re-Uploading now. ETA: 45 Minutes
Ugh.

Check the Flashable Mods section, but the ROM wont flash until the re-upload finishes in about ~30 minutes.
Upload Finished. Re-Download the ROM and try again for those that were having issues. This one works for me.

v1.1 is Live! Any of the reported bugs experienced that weren't on the known bug list are fixed. Brings a lot of behind the scene improvements, as well as some CM Apps! Dirty Flash should be fine.

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][KitKat 4.4.4][SM-T530NU] CyanogenMod 11 [04/26/2015]

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
------------THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL UNSUPPORTED BUILD-----------
This is my attempt at porting CyanogenMod 11 to the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. I use a SM-T530NU, so that is the only device I have tested.
Any other device variations have not been tested and are at your own risk. I will not be able to support other variations as I don't own them for testing.
Special thanks to MetaIIica - I have been using his Alpha build of PAC-ROM KitKat since December. I studied the code for that, along with stock and some other ROMs before starting this port. This is my first time doing any work with Android, so I'm not sure if I'm technically doing things correctly or not.
I know CyanogenMod 12 is under development already, but I have decided to do a CM11 based build in hopes of a making a stable daily driver offering. I have fixed many of the issues present that were present in the PAC-ROM build. They can probably be backported to PAC-ROM easily if its built with my tree, but I prefer the plain CM-based offering myself.
You may get the source of my changes for this ROM on my github. If you'd like to help and submit a patch, feel free to open a pull request. You will of course be credited accordingly.
See below for instructions, what's working, and issues I fixed over the PAC-ROM Alpha.
For any bug reports or feature requests, please use the appropriate tabs at the top of the thread. Please include as much information as possible and if possible a logcat or other debug information in the case of bugs. Requests for supporting other device variations will not be honored - sorry,
Feedback and constructive criticism is always appreciated. I hope you enjoy using the ROM; if you use the ROM, please consider leaving a thanks, rating, and/or review

INSTRUCTIONS
- Install PhilZ Touch Recovery (recommended)
- Copy CM11 & GAPPS (Optional) ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Do "Clean to Install a New ROM" (FULL WIPE REQUIRED INCLUDING SYSTEM, NOT JUST DATA/CACHE - even if coming from another CM-based ROM, as my device tree is different)
- Flash CM11 ZIP
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- Reboot
UPGRADING
-In general, you should be able to just flash over the previous build, but if you encounter any weird issues please clean using the steps above
Working that I've tested:
Audio: Speakers, Headphones, Bluetooth
Bluetooth
CIFS/NFS (Network File Systems - see notes below)
Front Camera
GPS
IR Blaster [SM-T530NU Only]
Magnetic Cover Sleep/Wake
MTP
Rear Camera
USB OTG
Video (w/ Hardware Decoding)
WiFi (2.4ghz & 5ghz)
NOTE ON BUTTONS: This ROM is configured to use the hardware buttons-- so you won't see the software buttons taking up space at the bottom of the screen, as they are disabled. This is not a bug. Use the hardware buttons, as they are the same. If you really want the software buttons for some reason, edit /system/build.prop, change qemu.hw.mainkeys to 0, save, and reboot. If you map the menu button to a long press of another button, some apps such as TitaniumBackup will count this as a hardware key and hide their soft menu button - but only after a reboot.
NOTE ON CIFS/NFS: Many of the mounting utilities on the play store are outdated and broken due to changes in the linux kernel. For best luck, mount using the command line. For CIFS, you can tweak CIFSManager into working - see this thread

Congratulations ! :good:
Nice ROM, it installed fine on my T530 will test some more, thanks for the hard work
I got this installed but the back button and recents button didn't work at all. Its a fast rom though but it would be nice if it was a barebones CyanogenMod without the Pac Rom extras installed too.
Time for a new test, i'll test it in my t530 and report back the results.

It is a pure Cyanogenmod without the Pac extras. If you're seeing them, make sure you did a full wipe before flashing as noted in the original post - you may have remnants of PAC-ROM in /system. The best way is to use PhilZ option to "Clean to Install a new ROM" as that wipes everything correctly. That could also be causing your issues with the back button as well. I completely rebuilt the device tree for this rom over the pac build, as that was based on MSM8974 when this is an MSM8226 device. If a full wipe wasn't done, you have stuff for the other device tree in /system that will mess things up. If the issue persists after a full wipe, please let me know what varient of 530 you're using, and pastebin a logcat of what happens when you press the back or recent events buttons.

I always completely wipe everything before installing a new rom. Never wiping the tablet before installing a new rom might cause problems. I no longer have the rom installed. I will install it again and see if it was just a flike that it didnt work properly the last time. I also have Philz recovery installed because its the only one that has full brightness on the screen.
Simply great. Everything i need works great. Finally a kitkat aosp rom that given me everything i need. Flashed in TWRP on a t530 (wifi only) and running perfectly fine. Good job mate. If you want me to test anything on t530 just tell me.
Btw, otg works, so my usb keyboard is working.
Otg works, YouTube and twitch.tv works, BT works, rotation works, camera works, xposed works, everything i have tested works

Thanks! Glad to hear that it is working well for you. I believe the only difference between the SM-T530 and the SM-T530NU is the the NU has an IR blaster, which I haven't actually enabled yet. I need to figure out how to test that because I never use it. After i do that and post a build with IR, it will be useful if you check and make sure it doesn't break the regular 530. Those two from what I can tell are vary similar, its more of any celluar varients that I would be worried about, because this is build for wifi only..
Let me know if you find anything broken
I got this to work properly. I have one question though. Is there a way to get youtube working without having all the other GAPPS rubbish installed. I noticed that the tablet got slower as soon as I installed GAPPS. The tablet flies along without GAPPS installed and I only want youtube working without all that other rubbish bogging down the tablet.

Glad its working for you now
To be honest, I'm not sure - you could try copying the Youtube APK off of the device and then side-loading it on a fresh install without installing all of GAPPs, but I'm not sure if that will just prompt you to install all of them or not if you do that.
Are there particular use cases you are noticing are slower? I did not really notice any difference with or without GAPPs, other than the initial boot time as they were unpacked and installed. If there are particular situations that cause this, then we could dump some logs to see if there is something that could or needs to be optimized.

I have youtube backed up with all my other apps with Titanium Backup and when I try running youtube without GAPPS it fails and a popup states Youtube has failed to start (or something similar) and if I install the GAPPS I have which is older than the version that is needed it tells me that google needs to be updated. So then I update that and tried freezing the google apps I dont want or use but youtube fails.

The whole tablet is slightly slower with GAPPS installed. I've opened a gapps zip with WINRAR and removed some of what I dont want and only left whats needed for play store to run so it improved a bit.
Hi,
I didn't try it for now...
But thanks for the good work!!
For the Gapps, have you try PAGapps?
It has different package with a lot of options.
The smallest one should be around 136Mo. You can also remove some apk with a config file.
All other apps are available on Play Store...

I used an aroma based gapps. You can install only what you need. About using YouTube without gapps, i dont know if tubemate could do the trick. Use aptoide to install it if you dont like play store. Here is the link for the aroma gapps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2547250

It has something to do with the lighting detection or some other initial initialization that I haven't figured out yet, but as a workaround if you toggle between camcorder mode and back it'll brighten up.

Tested and working fine. Is a nice workaround. I dont mind about this bug as I only use front camera for Skype and such things, but im glad this workaround is pretty easy and fast

Hi Everyone,
I updated the original post with a new build. This build should fix the lighting issues with the rear camera the first time it is used. After I debugged the mode switching with logcat I was able to find out what the issue was. I also am working on reducing dependencies on vendor libs where possible by getting more of the modules that can be built from source building from source.
I've started exploring IR blaster support for NU users and I am continuing to look for a solution for bluetooth audio, but I don't have either yet. Stay tuned for future updates
If you already installed the ROM most times you should be able to flash over it, but if you see anything weird after, try wiping to confirm if its a bug or weirdness after upgrading (you can always nandroid before wiping if you're unsure and roll back if its not related to upgrading).
Please let me know if you find any issues. Include model number and if possible a logcat as well.
Enjoy!
Congrats starlightknight!
Anyone tried this on the SM-T530?

[UNMAINTAINED][ROM ALL-IN-ONE] [LP_5.1.1] [D58XX] Heavily debloated - extras etc

[UNMAINTAINED]
This is for both locked/unlocked. Being 100% stock it is not going to unlock your BL, mess up your DRM/keys etc!
As some people asked me hereby I present you my new all-in-one solution for z3c d5803, this time based on LP 5.1.1, with following charateristics:
- Based on LP 5.1.1 23.4.A.1.264 FW (D5803, customized IT); 23.4.A.1.200 (D5833, customized HK) both with good spaced LTE icon
- pre-rooted with SuperSU 2.46 and Dual Recovery 2.8.21
- 100% stock (odexed)
- Heavily debloated with my own original big list
- xposed flashable v78 official by rovo for 5.1.1 + xposed APK alpha4
- Web View Google already updated to latest version as of 21/Jan in /data
- NFC icon restored
- Etar Calendar replacing Sony's
- Google Keyboard, Dialer and Contacts replacing Sony's (normal V8) or stock Sony versions (in V8_sony version)
- Nova Launcher replacing Sony's
- ES File Manager (pre-bloated version) replacing stock one
- QuickPic (neutered signed pre-bloated version) replacing Sony Album
- Z3+/Z4 bootanimation and live wallpaper
- Z5 conversations/messages/InCallUI/Phonebook (V8_sony version)
- Gravity Box, Unlink ringtones/notifications volume, AppsOpsXposed, MinMinGuard, Blurred System UI and Xperia Xposed xposed modules in /data
- Latest Sony Music in /data
- DPI changed to 280 for much better screen experience
- External SDCard writing fix
- Status Bar Icons Spacing Fix - example
- Camera/Album link FIX - to be able use camera without Album installed so you can open the images you take with your favourite image viewer!
- Lock screen fix in SystemUI (for hour in bold, and minutes in thin font) - example
NOTES
1. as in my first debloating solution for all xperia phones, all the bloat/replaced stuff is not really deleted but moved to a Backup folder in system (/system/__Backup) so you can restore anything you want very easily (sony keyboard, sony launcher, system apps etc)
2. that's the reason you can see /system partition still almost full in spite of my high debloat, but stuff moved to the backup folder is "silent", so for sure it is not affecting the system at all and it is like it is not installed: I use this approach for people who needs to restore something, this way restoring is very very easy and fast. By the way, deleting the whole Backup folder (or moving it to your sdcard) you will then see something like 1.1 gb extra free space in /system!! (see screenshots below )

Requirements:
- Working recovery installed
Installation: (as easy as...)
1. full backup
2. full wipe (system, data, cache and dalvik) ***
3. flash either AiO for D5803 [V8!!!] or AiO for D5803 [V8_sony!!!] or AiO for D5833 [V6!!!]
5. reboot/enjoy
PS IMPORTANT NOTE for unlocked BL users: to fix r/w on system you will have to flash a custom kernel like the one by Gustavo for example
*** NOTES ABOUT FULL WIPE vs DIRTY FLASH
You can also avoid wiping /data to keep all your data untouched but if YOU DO NOT WIPE DATA:
1. all apps I updated directly in /system may conflict someway with copies you may have stored in /data and you could get FC, especially Play Store/Services (btw in case any conflicts will appear it is pretty easy to fix them if you know how to clean things up yourself, for example clearing data of the conflicting apps installed in /data, and then uninstalling them via settings > downloaded apps)
2. my all-in-one solution won't be be 100% effective: the personal apps I included that are going to be installed in /data (xposed installer APK, Play Games, Sony Music, Gravity Box and Blurred UI xposed modules) WON'T be installed but just placed in /system/etc/product/applications with no effects (so in this case you can either keep them there, won't hurt, or delete them if you don't want them, while if you want them installed you can just click on them to start the installation as normal APKs)
3. all the apps installed by sony FW in /data (kobo books, navigator, social life, psp app, avg etc etc) won't be automatically removed (you will have to go to settings > downloaded apps to uninstall them manually)
4. not all the things needed for xposed to work contained in the FW will be installed automatically, so xposed will not work OOTB anymore (to get it to work, you will need to install manually at least xposed installer APK you can find in /system/etc/product/applications, and then all the modules you want to use)
I repeat the above will happen only if you DO NOT WIPE DATA, with clean flash instead everything will be as supposed: for sure no conflicts at all, all apps installed, xposed, modules, full debloat etc everything up and running and working OOB!
In case of UPDATING from one version to another: (as easy as... if not expressly mentioned to do otherwise...)
1. full backup
2. wipe system, cache and dalvik (do NOT wipe data, this way you will keep all your personal data)
3. flash new version via recovery
5. reboot/enjoy

- updated Google services to latest
- Google Calendar replaced sony's
- status bar icons spacing fix by great @istux
- Xperia Xposed v2.0 by great @serajr -> if you are NOT going to wipe data during the upgrade, this won't be installed automatically. you can install it manually going to /system/etc/product/applications and clicking on "Xperia_Xposed_2.0.apk"
- simplified all-in-one zip structure with less "extra" scripts (i did put three zips in one so at the end of the fw flashing you won't see too many additional zips flashing after each other)
Removed stuff:
With my solution you are going to get rid of more than 170 packages and all relevant libs/stuff plus all applications automatically installed by Sony, overlays etc...
As said at the beginning, stuff is not going to be really deleted, but moved in /system/__Backup folder. This way you can restore things very easily.
At the following link you will find the full list of all stuff I moved away:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1geFByRKDTOOZSIBOixO2boG1_78NUjqzkB6iozzJ4-k/edit#gid=0
PS. the file is with read-only access for everyone, if you have any changes to suggest please reply the thread or send me a PM
HOW TO RESTORE SOMETHING
PS. of course I also removed from my FW all the stuff that can be easily downloaded from the Play Store (Gmail, etc)
In the hidden field below you will find the restoring instructions you need to follow to restore any package you may want back:
According to what you want to restore, you have to follow two different procedures:
- all the APKs that are inside /system/__Backup/various/etc_custom_apps and /system/__Backup/various/etc_prod_apps are regular APKs that are going to be installed in /data, so you can just run them and then select "install" like a normal APK, easy. You will then see them in Settings > applications > downloaded
- instead, all the things in /system/__Backup/system_app and /system/__Backup/system_priv-app folders can't be normally installed, but must be restored in the correct /system folders with correct permissions. To do this, see the step-by-step instructions below (in the following example, I am going to restore Chrome app in /system/app and Velvet (Google Search) in /system/priv-app, but of course you can restore how many things as you want at the same time)
Code:
- with a root file manager like ES, go to /system/__Backup/system_app and MOVE the whole "Chrome" folder to /system/app
- with a root file manager like ES, go to /system/__Backup/system_priv-app and MOVE the whole "Velvet" folder to /system/priv-app
- reboot
- done
PS. don't copy but MOVE things back, or permissions will get messed up and you are likely to end up in a bootloop!
PPS. still, if you mess up something copying stuff to /system, and you get a bootloop, remember you can just enter in TWRP, mount system, and then with advanced > file manager you can delete what you have just copied to /system, this way your phone will boot up properly again

Getting VERY slow download speeds for the file. MEGA is usually quite good. Does bandwidth decrease if there are lots of users downloading the same file?

[MOD][6.0/7.1/8.0][V16.0] Enhance Experience

Hello, This is my first MOD which actually works.
Visit my new website here for detailed info: https://chetzjain1215.wixsite.com/enhancexp (currently the site isn't optimised for phones, but working on it. )
Code:
I am not responsible if you brick your devices or other issues because of my MOD.
Do some research or ask me if you have any concerns about it.

Q:So, What is this thing?
A: It basically Replaces stock LineageOS apps with the Google apps.
Q:Why do we need this?
A: If you're using Nova launcher or Pixel launcher i'm sure you would have come across ''force 3D touch". That thing doesn't take place in Stock lineage apps like Phone, Messaging or Clock etc. Also the UI of Calendar app isn't good as compare to Google calendar app, however Google apps is the solution.
Q:What else does it do?
A: It will install Sony Music player (Beta version), trust me it isn't bloatware but something better than Eleven (stock lineage music player), also it adds a nice unlock sound effect.
Features: 1) Removes Lineage apps: Calendar, Clock, Eleven, Calculator, Messaging, Contacts and Phone.
2) Adds Google apps of: Calendar, Clock, Calculator, Messaging, Contacts and Phone, Beta version of Sony Music.
3) Unlock Sound effect from MIUI.
**CAUTION**: I've tested the MOD only with Official RR 5.8.3 and with NANO open gapps package.
THINGS YOU SHOULD DO AFTER INSTALLING: 1) Set Phone as default app by going in Settings>Apps>Setting icon (Top right corner), under default, select Phone app. That's it.
**Installation For recovery flashing***
1) Flash your Favourite (7.1.1/7.1.2) ROM and then flash Nano Gapps.
2) Go back in TWRP and select "MOUNT" and tick system.
3) Select my MOD and flash and reboot.
**Installation For recovery flashing***
1) Take a backup seriously.
2) Open magisk and select my module and flash it.

If anyone here facing issue like phone app unable to see in app drawer, then it means you probably have dirty flash my new version of mod over old one. In order to remove this issue, either do clean flash or open root browser go in system/priv-app/GoogleDialer and remove the older version, it's something with ''8.0.1...'' and reboot
New stuff coming, tested well before implementing.

Please specify more, is it your first time you installed this mod? If you have flashed my mod before too, either do clean flash or go in system/app and search for related words to clock, there must be conflicting apps.
