So I couldn't get remote play working at all with latest ps4 update, there is a way to fix this, this is what I did:
1) Download x privacy from xposed and activate the module, then restart.
2) Now go into x privacy and go to settings then change to expert mode, then click on 'aosp mode', save settings.
3) Now reboot your phone.
4) Go back into x privacy, now go to remote play and do what I have in the pictures

I would say yes to this, because remote play from twisted works on non sony devices, this workaround is for sony devices I think.

I have tried this fix for my Xperia Z3 but can't find the option get application Info on Xprivacy. Remote play shows the typical 88001003 error for rooted devices.
If I uninstall supersu, remote play shows black screen.

Just use xposed module called RootCloak - add remote play to that app and it will work without any problems

Without root, I don't think it'll be very easy to uninstall those system applications. Once rooted, we might be able to freeze or uninstall them either manually or through something like Titanium Backup. Until then, we'll just have to put up with it.

Strange,
did u notice the Ambient Light Sensor ?
It should be Blinking Red, then only it'll sense the gesture of ur hand or any obstruction i.e. bringing it near to the ear!
Check it with the Service ON and with OFF (won't glow red in OFF)

This is working on CM 10.2? I tried on CM 10.1 and it didn't work. .. That's the only reason I switched to Samsung stock Rom.. This all is really useful for me and if it really works on s4 mini with CM 10.2 it's great

Just use smart remote 1.6.6 it is the best and no bloat crap like watch on has. I use it for everything in my house, even my soundbar.

I tried smart remote, but it didn't work for my set box. And it has some issues while trying to change the channel for example, if you let the button pressed, it doesn't work. .

U can long press on buttons to assign a different function. It takes alot of patience to get the right remote assigned and configure it.

App works well with my old Sony CRT TV but doesn't work with new LG LCD TV.
I think this is the app's problem
Sony will be rolling out the new music app to replace Walkman. Walkman will be renamed to MUSIC. The icon will change to a 'music note'. This is classed as beta but I've not experienced any problems with it at all. Just install as a normal apk. Backup your walkman app just incase you want to restore it or reinstall through play store.

There's a visualizer option in the player settings, not sure if that was an option before, can't remember lol. The settings are moved to left swipe menu, I think few visual changes on the player window too, like I said I can't really remember what the old one was like.

Got it in the play store. Walkman was one of the few sony apps I kept on my device. The update made me switch from Play Music to the Sony app. It works very well imho

Hi, i have a HP printer that works fine but with the last version of "hp smart" app, a lot of problems were born with scanner functions .
Now I'm using an old version of app and all its ok but Google play tell me every time that i have to update "hp smart". I'm not able to modify the apk but if someone could change the n.version/build from 7.2 to "1000" i think that Google play will stay sciallo and make me happy.

To disable automatic updates for a specific app on Android
Open Google Play Store.
Touch the hamburger icon in the top-left, and choose My apps & games. Swipe up to locate the app of your choice.
Alternatively, just hit the search icon, and type in the name of the app.
Once you’re on the app page, hit the three-dot icon in the top-right.
Uncheck Auto-update.
