hmmmmmm.. did the manager really work??
is there is any tweak to increase the volume without apps
More and more speaker volume
If you want to increase your speaker volume, you can try:
1) Look at your screen. Is the plastic screen protector closing the speaker hole (above the logo "Sony Ericsson")?
2) Look at your sound settings. The hardware buttons aren't always good enough for this. You can use some app like "Volume Control +" or "Quick Settings" (both free at the Market), or "AudioManager", or any other solution that lets you see all your volume options.
3) You can also install the free attached equalizer DSPmanager.apk. After activate it (checking the proper box), you need to raise up the bars that corresponds to the frequencies you want to boost. Some people say it doesn't work, some people say that it helps a lot.
4) As a last option you can install the free attached AudioHack.apk. In my case, it worked with "V2" + "Push". See which button (V1, V2 or V3) plus "Push" can increase your volume.
5) If none of the above works for you, maybe you just have to put up with using the earphone all the time. Some people find the earphone cool.

VOLUME+
Volume+ is an application for Android Devices running Gingerbread (2.3) or higher which allows you to boost the maximum volume for Ringtones, Alarms, Message tones, etc. It is essentially a heavily modified DSP Manager which has been completely rewritten from scratch. Because of this it is strongly recommended that you remove one of them to install the other.
It does this by exploiting the EQ settings (AudioEffect.api) included in Gingerbread, and because of this, it may be unstable on some devices.
Please note that this application will not work to its full potential on phones running Stock (unmodified) software. I strongly suggest that if you are going to ‘root’ your phone that you flash CyanogenMod7 or higher and remove the built-in DSP Manager.
I also will not be held responsible for anything that may happen to your device as a result of running this app. Please see my disclaimer for more information.
Features
Phone Speaker / Headset / Bluetooth:
* On/Off toggle
* Volume Boost
* EQ pre-sets
* Bass Enhancer
* Stereo Widener (only for Headset/Bluetooth Headset)
* Virtual Room Effect (VRE – Echo)
In-Call:
* Volume Step Changer (The number of volume steps between 0 and full) ROOT ACCESS REQUIRED
Requirements
* An Android device running Gingerbread (Android 2.3) or higher
* Custom ROM (Not fully required but is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
* Root Access (Required for In-Call settings, NOT for anything else but is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
Instructions
This mini guide will help you to get the most out of Volume+!
If you are running this on a device which has ICS, you may need to enable Volume+ in the “Media Effects” menu. Don’t worry if your device doesn’t have this option, it shouldn’t be necessary.
Once Volume+ has asked you to do this, you should end up at the main menu, which has 4 options:
Speaker Settings
Headset Settings
Bluetooth Settings
In-Call Settings
Speaker Settings will allow you to modify the EQ of the external speaker and will allow you to boost the volume considerably. To do this, get some music playing in the background and open the Speaker Settings menu. Enable the “Audio Modifications” check box and then set the “Volume Level” to about +10. You should notice a boost in volume. You can then start raising the Volume Level until you notice either the volume getting quieter or the volume doesn’t change. You’ve now found your current device’s volume limit (this limit is not device dependant and instead depends on your current firmware. Flashing a CyanogenMod ROM will allow you to push the volume much higher.
Once you have found your device’s limit, you can start changing the other values (such as EQ preset and Bass Boost) until you find a combination that works for you!
Headset and Bluetooth settings are identical to the speaker settings but apply to the wired headset and Bluetooth headset respectively.
The In-Call settings are different; they don’t allow you to boost the In-Call volume but instead give you much more control over the volume. You WILL need Root Access to alter these settings as they modify your phone’s build.prop (system/build.prop). With this tool, you can increase the number of volume steps (how many times you have to press volume up/down to get from one end of the scale to the other) to whatever value you want between 6 and 100. Whilst the value is completely down to personal preference, setting it to 100 is certainly not recommended.
Its version 2beta.

[Q] Low speaker volume

Does someone know of an app that works amplifying speaker sound? I'm running Ultima rom and I can't find one that works. Volume + and Sound Booster don't work. I've Googled and still can't find one.

speaker volume

Hi, can anybody help me with speaker loud mode? I have Dolby Atmos And viper4 in my phone but IT isnt loud enough. What can I do? Some apps or zips modes through the TWRP ? Or some Rom with good volume and sound? Thanks alot
Hi,what ROM are you using now?
I'm using Global Stable rom 8.2.1.0 for RN4 MTK and it is very loud even without Dolby Atmos...for example,i keep it on 60-70% of volume and is quite loud...with Dolby Atmos it is even louder (I have to keep it below 40%) and i'm the guy who has hearing problems (not deaf but my hearing is not good as it should be)...
I had the same issue with HTC and there was problem with the speaker itself...
Try to air-blow it a bit (maybe it's stuck with dust and dirt)...if that doesn't work, then maybe the speaker has gone bad [emoji20]

Dolby Atmos is sufficient; make a manual profile in the tab you prefer, and set the EQ like you see in the pic. Depending on the situation, enable dialogue enhancer or volume leveler, as you see fit. Keep in mind that WhatsApp audio clips are not affected by Atmos, all the remaining media is.
I think dolby is loud enough, first make sure your phone (music player) connect to dolby. You can open dolby to check, and active the volume leveler. And i think use one surround sound, i suggest use dolby.
Now I'm using dolby lenovo version (install from magisk). But if dolby/viper still not loud, you can install volume step increase from magisk

Just use a custom kernel and kernel adiutor, go to the sound setting and adjust accordingly.
Where shall I found in kernel auditor volume Steps? I dont have IT there.

Volume Steps

I find I can't lower the notification volume and ringtone volume low enough.
Does anyone know how to change the volume steps? I have sound assistant but it only works for media volume...
I'm rooted if it helps and I've tried the AOSP based rom solution of changing the build prop but with no success.
Thanks for any help!
Have you tried "sound assistant" app. It is from Samsung and has function you are looking for.

Ah my bad, don't know how I missed it. It is possible in two ways:
01- Get a custom kernel with volume modification support. I use a Galaxy S7edge with Surround sound, this makes the sound loud and more immersed but it has a drawback. The low threshold of volume is too high same as yours. I usually have a problem with the in-call earpiece audio which is too loud for me. I use MoroKernel and luckily a recent update brought the feature of MoroSound providing fine control over gains of 2-microphones, earpiece, and main speaker. You can also look for a kernel with such features for your device.
02- Manually modifying the sound configuration files. That is a bit difficult but good research with a bit of experimenting will eventually get you there.

Any chance you know how to mod the sound config files on an S21? Unfortunately there are no custom kernels yet for the Exynos version

Yes, go to /etc/mixer-gains.xml and edit it. Drawback is your device entire volume range will be affected like for media and stuff. One more way and probably the more practical one just hit me.
Find your ringtone and notification tone from /system/media/audio/ or download them from google and use a software like Audacity or Adobe Audition to reduce their volume.
You reduce your phone's volume to the lowest and match pc's volume with it. Then reduce the audio gain in the software until you feel comfortable with it. Export it and use it.
For anyone interested. My solution ended up being the following, with my end goal being too optimize my audio with Dolby and have the volume still be lower (but optimized) on the phone speaker.
I tried a ton of different apps, a few magisk volume steps modules, ViperFX with Dolby and finally I found a good solution.
Turn off the default Dolby stuff on the phone.
Install Dolby Atmos ZTE A2019 PRO for magisk (google it and find it on GitHub).
Reboot.
Install JamesDSP from ZackPTG5's website.
Reboot.
Install Audio Modification library to use Dolby and JamesDSP at the same time.
Reboot.
Create a custom equalizer in Dolby and try max things out as much as possible with it still sounding great.
Open JamesDSP, go to Speaker, set limiter threshold to -5, go to post gain and set it to -10. Turn on the master switch. Leave everything else unless you want to change any Bluetooth or headphone settings. Hide the persistent JamesDSP notification.
Reboot.
Install Audio Compatibility module with all the recommended settings.
Reboot.
Result, Dolby Atmos handles all the audio, increases the volume, applies optimizations system wide. However because volume steps are tricky to change on this phone we are stuck with the phone speaker volume being too loud even on the lowest setting. JamesDSP lowers the volume to the built-in speakers but we still get the Atmos experience we want. Everything else I assume you want to be louder anyway, like Bluetooth and headphones.
Audio Modification Library makes James and Dolby work together.
Audio Compatibility Patch fixes some issues with certain apps not using the sound mods.
Success! You get Dolby Atmos everywhere, but it doesn't max out the phone speaker volume, but it will still max out everything else. Oh and you can also change whatever other settings you want in JamesDSP.
