do you have any idea solution ?can u share ss cpu-z with gpu load is working ?

You dont have a problem with your CPU temp. The only thing that could be causing the heat would be background jobs. If you're not sure that there are not unintended background jobs, just do a Factory reset. Stop flashing for a few and stop using your phone 24/7 and the temp will lower.

Phones and tablets with SD810 and atom x5-8300 can go up to 86 degrees, then you're sure the cpu will throttle (and performance will drop). 46 is very normal, mine went up to 60 degrees when charging and flashing, which is still no problem.

tnx
try Elixir
i have try
elixir report battery 2.5 °C
i have trai stock 2.2 , void and devoid rom and i have the same error...
is my battery fault?
Why do you want to know the battery's temperature ?
why not? are your battery temperature sensor working?
Not working here either
From what I've seen in the past month since I have this phone, nobody is able to get a correct reading of their battery temperature, no matter what application they used. The LG Optimus One always reports the temperature in the range of 2.x - 3.x degrees Celsius.
So, scoppyxda, your phone and battery are actually fine, don't worry. I hope this issue is fixed with the next Android version (2.3).
everythin reports it wrong except batteryminder..search for it in the market
I guess that the real temp is divided by a factor of 10. I say "i guess" because when i do something power hungry (like listening to streaming radio) the temp raises to 3.8 and the phone bak is quite hot.
I think it shows temp in deg. Fahrenhiet by default and app has to change it to deg. celcius.
Mik can fix this 5 mins if he spends time
I played with this a while today - I tried to multiply temp by 10 and voltage by 1000 in battery driver.
For voltage, it worked (see screenshot). When I tried to multiply temp by 10, apps showed it correctly, but android yelled that battery is overheated. So, android API gives wrong values to applications?
Make the api assume that it's normal ;p
Maybe the fahrenheit temp is actually the celsius temp.
And the celsius temp is the wrong temp.
I think it's...
Correct Values
While using myPhoneExplorer (usb connection) i get more realistic values. The monitor gives me figures in the range of 23-28 deg Celsius.

It isnt, battery driver returns value in celsius, fahrenheits are calculated from it by android.
I've posted the same question in the void forum (which is the ROM i'm currently using) it seems to be a problem with the model of the phone itself. So everyone will have the same results. I was told to just multiple the value by 10 to get the accurate degree.

Honestly I don't think it's normal. I have the exact same issue where my idle/sleep temp sits anywhere between 27 and 32 degrees. Doing some light tasks causes it to shoot up. Sometimes as high as 38 degrees (100 fahrenheit). At that point it just gets too hot to comfortably hold.
I've tried doing a factory reset, but that didn't solve anything for me. Not really sure what else is left to do. That's why I'm going to give my provider a call tomorrow and see if I can get it replaced.

my wife tried 4 s6 edge in 2 different store and they all idle at 27 or 28
How are you measuring the temperature? Mine gets hot as hell. According to CPU-Z the processors sometimes gets to 80 degrees Celsius ~ 176 Fahrenheit. The battery usually settle at 34 degrees Celsius while on heavy usage, but overall the phone gets really hot, sometimes uncomfortably so, but I never had any issues regardless, so I think that's normal.

I have used GSam in the past, it shows the same temp as CPU-Z uses for the battery. Life I said, it can easily get to 34 degrees, right now, for example, just from browsing XDA it is registering 33 degrees.
I guess this is the normal operation temperature. Unless you notice something odd happening, don't worry about it.

Z2 CPU temperature and heating on your phone

Hi,
since I updated my Z2 (D6503) to LP 5.0 my phone is heating pretty much. After 10 min. of using (doesn't matter how) temp. foes up to 38-39 degrees of celsius, and after using for a while like an half hour, it goes even up to 41-42 degrees (but it is also very very hot in room in which I use it).
So, I just wanted to hear your opinions about this, is it normal, do you have the same issue and can it be corrected somehow?
That's all, thanks in advance to all.
Mine's CPU almost hits 70 degrees celsius. Your temps must be battery temps, cause mine are the same.
38-42° Celsius? You mean Battery temperature right? My phones CPU was about 58-66°C after installing 5.1

My device is overheating over 40 degrees. How i fix it? This heating up 10 minute in bottom backcover

i don't know. its heating bottom in screen and backcover
How do you know its 40? have you checked it with thermometer? if its heating so much i'd advice you check whats using your cpu because something is putting too much strain on it. and if you are rooted consider undervolting. For few minutes of adjusting voltage you can go down even 8 degrees

Kernel Toolkit i see cpu is 40-60°C and battery is 43°C while playing or browser internet
60c is nothing to worry about as most cpu's will switch themselves off at around 85-90c. 43c average while gaming is not a bad temperature. I wouldn't worry about it myself.

Performance Throttling Overheating Device Temperature

The lower scored benchmark is at from idle of around 40C (CPU temp) while the phone is in the room. The higher scored is when I placed my phone in the freezer and let it cool down to around 28C (CPU temp).
Why is the phone so hot even at idle? Do you r phones go as high? What are your ambient temperatures? I'm in a tropical country and it is around 29C here right now.
The battery temp is only a degree or two lower than the CPU. It's terrible for the battery to be at this temperature.
Mine is around 36 C after 30 min of browsing . inside room temp is around 22 C.
Yeah, Mine also get so hot like 40 -45 like your after 20min of used.
But our Poco got cooling system right, then why like that?
My previous Moto z play was not like that ?, It was only heat while charging because of rapid charge.
It's coz of that garbage of IU called MiUI. Every update it screwed something.

Mine is sitting at 31.0 degree celcius. Could be that you have many things going in your background?
