Remapp volume button as the power button? - HTC Desire 601

Hello,
on my HTC Desire 601 the power button seems to doens't work anymore. I am hardly able to power on the phone in the morning. With some tools like "Volume Unlock Power Button Fix" works fine when the phone is on, but once I turn it off I cant boot the device with the volume button.
The device is rooted. Is there any way to mapp one volume button to use it like the power button to make a cold boot?
thanks in advance
bye

[Solved] Can't get in fastboot anymore...

After a bad flash, I'm stuck at "htc One/beatsaudio" white screen, but unable to reboot in bootloader/recovery, even not power down...
Holding the power button a loooooooooooooong time makes softbuttons blinking, but nothing else happen...
Any idea?
Aaaaargh...finally solved...:victory:
I post "MY" solution, maybe it can help someone else (using the "search" functionality...)
Just press Power + Vol. Up + Vol. Down at the same time...:highfive:
The Other way: Press Power long time, until your phone gets off. After a second press and hold Vol. Down, press the power button and the phone starts in bootloader mode.

Thank you, but I was starting this thread because it wasn't possible anymore to use the normal way: Power button 10 sec. and Power + Vol. Down to get in bootloader mode...
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda premium

please help....

I want to root my mobile. Moto e xt1022 1st gen with 5.1 lollipop. I'm not getting bootloader(fast boot menu). I'm pressing "power+ volume down" button simultaneously. But I'm not able to access boot loader menu.... Please help me.... (All buttons are working properly)
It might be that you are pressing the volume button little late. Its a matter of seconds.
Do this, Press the Vol button, then without releasing it, press the power button, when it boots, release the power button but not the volume one.
If your buttons are working fine, you should boot into menu.
Tapped from my Moto X

Hello @Vokko,
I put out the battery and waited about 2 days until it was empty but unfortunately it was not successful.
Iam still looking for a solution.
Have you tried holding the volume down button and the power button (keep both pressed, don't let power button go)?

If I connect with PC and hold volume down + power button I see "APX" in other devices.
Sorry, I forgot your model uses volume up + power button to access recovery. Unplug from computer, turn off then hold volume up and power button together (don't just press power briefly but keep it and volume buttons held down) to see if it enters recovery.
