Introduction:
Team Win Recovery Project or twrp2 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It's a fully touch driven user interface , no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
Key Features:
Touchscreen driven with real buttons and drag-to-scroll
XML-based GUI that allows full customization of the layout true theming!
Settings are saved to the sdcard and persist through reboots
Ability to choose which partitions to back up and which to restore
Ability to choose to compress backups now with pigz (multi-core processor support for faster compression times)
Onscreen keyboard
Decryption of /data
Easy selection of internal/external storage
See changelog below for new features

Awesome Work Bro

Once you've successfully installed your new TWRP 3, why not have some fun with it and theme it with one of the themes from the following threads.
THEME YOUR TWRP
Theme Thread 1:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=65614961
(Be sure to check the OP of this one for links to more themes in other posts.)

Here are some screenshots of the theme I'm running right now for an example.
Screenshots:

Changelog for 3.0.2-0
-Fix a bug with the input box that affected masked inputs (passwords). This fixes decrypt of full device encryption on devices that support decrypt. This bug also impacts encrypted backups. Users are highly encouraged to stop using 3.0.1 if you use encrypted backups or if you need decrypt of data in TWRP.
-Add Greek translation to some builds.

wow official nice work @Dreamstar

@Dreamstar sorry to be an idiot, where is the download link for 3.0.2-0? The link in the OP says it's for 3.0.1-0. Sorry for the stupid question, and thank you so much, keep up the great work :good:

Sorry ill forget to add link now added !!

Working great on daughter phone...thanks

Questions
Thank you for your hard work!!!
I have a few questions:
- The title for this post shows for g360t/g360t1 which are tmobile and metropcs phones. The link below the "TWRP 3.0.2-0" in the first post shows this version of twrp is for cdma, which the above phones are not. Will this version of twrp still work?
- Does this version have any of the issues of the previous unofficial versions (mtp not working, not able to flash slimpickins)?
Thanks in advance!

According to somewhere around post 484 here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...mpickins-stock-rooted-bloated-t3250883/page17) You should stick with 3.0.1.

Don't extract the image. Just flash the whole tar.md5 file in the AP slot of Odin. Another way to do it is to just flash the extracted image in Android with a flashing app. More info on that here:

3.0.2 has been known to have problems flashing some Roms so I recommend 3.0.1. For flashing with the Rashr app you just need to:
1) Extract the recovery.img to your device.
2) Tap "Recovery From Storage".
3) Select the image to flash.

Oh okay thanks a lot

Selinux is a part of Android security. Selinux comes initially as "enforcing". What you want is to set selinux as "permissive". This can be done by flashing the Trapkernel tar.md5 file in the AP slot of Odin.

That's awesome to hear, surprised this thread is only 1 page still. I came across earlier, but only saw the "intriguing" post, wanted to wait & see how everything was. I was nervous to flash, just cause at the time nobody mentioned they had. Will check back, & thanks for sharing your results.

Did you read op? I wouldn't do it that way, I'd follow op instructions cause of the whole bumped thing. Flash in your already bumped twrp or use adb

Thanks for the update.. installed perfect Great job!
I seen in the thread for the previous version that this was able to be installed with the terminal emulator right from the phone. Is that possible with this version? Computer is down at the moment ?
No problems here. Installed via flashify, working smooth.
Thanks!
Thank You! flashed with flashify, works great now have ext sd card support
Also installed with flashify

Thank you! Installed perfectly through previous TWRP version.
New TWRP build!
Changes
- Support Modem Backup
- Display "External SD" instead of "external_sd"
Quick question. OP says with this version, you'll need latest adb binaries to do any sideloads in twrp. I'm not sure about how to update adb binaries, so I'm hesitant. (Though I've never used side load function lol). Any tips?
Flashed via recovery, all went well. Maybe adb binarys is just meaning latest drivers? Guessing!

Newest build is borked. Checked md5 and its good. Flashed via recovery and flashify. Twrp screen just flashes.
Same here
@777jon What is "Wipe Dalvik" actually doing if we're running lollipop (ART) builds? Is it still useful/necessary?
flashed previous version of twrp as well as this one through flashify. Backed up and flashed rom afterwards. Everything went well.

The AOSParadox Project 1.0
What's CodeAurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.
What's AOSParadox Project ?
AOSParadox is an AOSP ROM very close to vanilla. We just modified a little bit CAF to make it work on Motorola Moto G. This is absoluteky not CM (only 24 commits are taken from the CyanogenMod Sources, 15 beeing applied on the build/ directory mostly to do a nice flashable ZIP)
What should I be aware of ?
This ROM isn't CM at all. Everything is custom and made to work with CodeAurora Forum's sources so customs kernels won't boot (ramdisk is different, selinux rules too, ...). Remember this is a AOSP stock android build so if you want root you need to flash the Super{User/SU} of your choice. Also, There is no gapps backup script so they need to be reflashed with each update.
What doesn't work ?
Code:
Camera, GPS.
What's plan ?
Actually, we plan on doing many things. The ROM is right now very fast but we want to make a lot of optimizations. We also will add a few features to improve your ROM Experience.
Downloads
AOSParadox-STABLE-20150710-matissewifi.zip
Added Layers 2.1
Added Rotation Lock (Landscape / Portrait)

4) Wipe Data/Factory Reset
5) Wipe Dalvik cache

device/motorola/falcon : The device tree was initialy based on CyanogenMod device trees. It then has been modifyed a lot to fit CAF : ramdisk, packages, overlay, GPS, bluetooth, sepolicy, configs files, props ... most of it has been redone or deleted. The pieces left from the old CyanogenMod sources have the "CyanogenMod Copyright" header (liblight/releasetool). All changes are detailled here
vendor/motorola : We use our own proprietary files. The list is common with CM ones (mostly) but it's gonna change with time. However, they are directly imported from stock build.
kernel/ : This repository is (as the "forked from" button suggest it) based on CyanogenMod kernel. More particulary to the F-AOSP Kernel. However it has extra 20 commits
to make it work on AOSParadox (detailled commit list here )
vendor/aosparadox : This repository is based on F-AOSP's one. It provides our Boot Annimation and the APN files are updated from CM.
Here is the detailled list of every CM commits used in this ROM :

TeamWin's TWRP Touch Recovery for LG G3 - d850, d851, d852, d855, d856, f400, ls990, vs985.
https://twrp.me/
TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. We also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers.
Team Win was originally formed to work on porting WiMAX to CM7 for the HTC EVO 4G. After our work on the EVO 4G we wanted to work on a project that would work on more devices than just the EVO 4G and we settled on working on a recovery. Today TWRP is the leading custom recovery for Android phones.
A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom “ROM” like OmniROM
You can find the source code for TWRP at github.com/omnirom/android_bootable_recovery/

Yeah I can happily confirm that too - all I did was take out the old TWRP 2.8.7.0 recovery from a flashable ZIP and then replaced it with the TWRP 3.0.0-0 recovery.
After that, I bashed in "reboot recovery" in the Terminal app, flashed it and then the recovery booted up without issues.

If I had a non-D855 variant of the LG G3, I would have tested it right away, but unfortunately, I only have the 16GB D855 model.
Sorry for the noob question , but what it means bumped ? i have never understand what it's exactly means
Wow this was fast, I hope to try it later (if someone tries it in D851 let me know)

FIRST THINGS FIRST:
1) You need to be on stock marshmallow firmware. If you are not then please flash the official firmware through Odin first!
2) The ROM is set on Autoformat. That is it will wipe all your apps, settings, call logs etc. So first do a backup. I will always recommend a NANDROID BACKUP before flashing any ROM. However its will not wipe your internal storage
3) TWRP recovery for flashing. Download from here
1) Boot into TWRP recovery using Volume UP button + Home button + Power button simultaneously for upto 10 seconds.
2) Wipe your Data, Cache and Dalvik cache first before proceeding.. It may cause a bootloop if you don't.
3) Click on install from main menu and locate the downloaded ROM.
4) Select the ROM, flash and reboot.:good:
5) First boot time may vary from 5-20 mins to load. So please be patient.
6) If the keyboard doesnt show any word suggestions then please use another keyboard like the latest sony xperia keyboard from here. Its good looking as well as better than sammy's keyboard
I have made an attempt to make WiFi work on any firmware baseband. In case WiFi fails then i will recommend you to first flash the official firmware through odin before flashing TWRP and the ROM. Baseband versions are provided below.

There is a reason I asked this question here at XDA in this specific thread.
I've googled and found this method on various sites. I didn't want the same answer here
This method doesn't work for twrp 3.0.2.0 onwards
But since you shared it could you post screenshots of this working on your device with a 3.0.2.0 version or higher..... Eagerly waiting
