Can you test all partitions mount and backup OK?
Modem and baseband should be backupable too.

Anyone?

great work, only issue i can see so far is the time settings, for me it show my time 6 hours and 20 minutes in the future, thats all till now.
themes working, backup and restore works,it seems a lil bit faster at all.big thanx.
tested on my A5FU with AICP 11.

The time problem is a known bug on some devices.
Whether teamwin will fix this I don't know.
Thanks for the feedback. I can now at least release it in the development section.

O yes, the joy of 3.0.2-+ is you can flash the theme zips in recovery and they instantly install and change the ui, and yes it fixs the EFS partition, only other change is Recovery's back to not enforcing again.

Because it's temporary storage for data.
It's usually used when flashing something and wiped afterwards. There is really no point in backing it up.

What do you mean options wont be shown. What do you see?
Did you ensure to boot to recovery immediately after flashing? This is important.

Can anyone test if this build fixes the time issue.?
Ensure your time zone is correct in twrp settings.

The N5X version of this update was released yesterday had some performance improvements and more: http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/0...emp-option-performance-improvements-and-more/
A reddit user named GoogleNexusCM, who claims to be the Nexus product forum manager posted this the 6P subreddit
I want to let you all know that an OTA update will begin rolling out today for the 6P. We value and listen to your feedback, and this update includes a number of bug fixes that will improve overall stability and performance on the Nexus 6P.

The fixes for this build are similar to the ones I mentioned for the 5X. Some of the fixes will help with/address:
General device performance
DND next alarm disappearing issue
Carrier-specific bug fixes
Connectivity improvements
I also should mention that the builds mentioned on the developers site are carrier specific, with the majority of carriers worldwide being on MHC19I (5X equivalent - MHC19J).

So, I guess the question is... whether these fixes are also incorporated in the MMB29V build and if not, is there is a AOSP build coming for devs.
Great Google. I flashed the latest image like usual but now I´m asked for a password in TWRP which ofc I´ve never set. Thanks a lot. That´s what you get if you want to try the latest stuff.

This thread is about the MHC19I update, not Android N...
I used Flashfire to flash MMB29V again (except recovery and data) and everything seems to be fine now. Bootloader and Radio stay at the higher version. Terminal and TWRP work again.
Bro I'm on N...but my twrp is gone completely.. Do I just flash it again?

TWRP might not be compatible with N, I would wait. Sounds like you flashed the factory IMG and all of its contents. Your recovery is now stock recovery, and all your data is wiped on your phone anyway

Hey, I noticed some weird stuff when I started playing around a bit after flashing back to MMB29V. (developer options wouldn't work, quick settings wouldn't come down from the dropdown). And yes, I was on MMB29V when I flashed MHC19I.
Now that I can get into TWRP, I can at least restore my backup. It will complain that system is mounted as Read Only. Just go to "Mount" in TWRP and uncheck the "mount system in Read Only" checkbox and Put a checkmark next to "System" in the list of partitions to mount. My nandroid is restoring right now. I'll update when it is complete.
EDIT: Nandroid restored and all is good again!

Not sure, you could check on miui.com or you can download the zip and flash it via stock recovery
Well, I felt that
Update is not that exciting
Everything is same as mini 8
This has better stability
Good carrier connection till now
Has added features of global development rom
Camera captures from fingerprint also.
Little bit better battery I feel.
For me first boot Took really long time.

100% you won't lose unlocked bootloader. Twrp, even if lost it might be due to some mistake during flashing, can be recovered by flashing it using fastboot mode. You may have to wipe (just wipe no need to format anything in data partition) before installation. I think dirty flash won't work.

Just flash lineage 14 even box guy couldn't boot it with stock rom

Flashed TWRP, did update, cannot flash TWRP again.

I've flashed TWRP and it was working.
I made the mistake of doing a Huawei system update (directly rather then manually) to get to marshmellow because a lot of the ROMs
require it.
After that EMUI recovery was put back on there.
So I tried reflashing TWRP and I have not been able to do that, it always boots EMUI recovery now.
Can I trust a full NAND restore to stock + twrp (5.1 lollipop) from EMUI 4.0 Marshmellow? and can
can I do it from within fastboot boot twrp.img without any complications?
I've tried some of the suggestions on the other threads for flashing recoveries like force booting TWRP and
flashing from within TWRP and then rebooting recovery (still have EMUI).
Every device has its quirks I should have read more about the Honor's before taking action.
But I did look for some instructions on this sort of thing but I didn't find it anything labeled for it.
I have a (FULL absolutely everything) NAND backup sitting on my phone's memory card but I've never used it.
I hope this is okay, I've solved my problem (Restored from NAND).
Thank god for the common wisdom of taking a full NAND backup first thing.
If your new as well, plz there is no greater investment you can make in your modding then taking a full NAND backup the second you have TWRP installed on your device (copy it to all your PC's as well when you get a chance).

Doesn't work. Sets the device name to "xiaomi9" but should be "cepheus", so flashing aborts because of wrong device name.

Change the updater script in the EU rom zip file from "cepheus" to "xiaomi9" and voila, it works.

That's Xiaomi's fault, just flash EU rom once, the device name will change to "Cepheus" and next EU rom has no problem with that.
