Unable to record custom remote keys - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Hi to all ,
I recently bought redmi note 3 SD version. Everything is fine except one feature is missing. Is there any chance to record custom remote keys like using third party apps?
Any help is appreciated. Sorry for my English

its only capable of sending IR signals and not receiving so you wont be able to record custom keys

[Q] Text Email notifications thru earphones

Why is it when my earphones are plugged in the Text and Email notifications come out thru the external speaker on my Samsung Note 2 instead of thru the earphones ? This is a real issue when in the library, on the train, etc. and its inconvenient to have to mute the audio to prevent from disturbing other ppl. Is this a known issue with Samsung phones ?
p.s. tried Soundabout Pro with no luck in fixing this

Biggest issue I have with this phone. I seem to remember reading this was a Jelly Bean (or ICS and above) issue and not Samsung.

I know you said SoundAboutPro didn't work but I did try the free and it worked. I've attached picture of the settings that worked for me. Google Talk at least is now coming through headphones only.
Apparently latest update in market fixed Note 2 not working issue. Perhaps try again?

Dr. Ketans call recording app

Just wanted to let you know that Dr. Ketans call recording app works for the Note 4 910c stock rom. Without the need for root.
Just a heads up
Pls make sure call recording is legal in your state or at least inform the one you are talking

Try this and see if you get an FC on the camera app.
Flash dr.ketan's call recording mod and reboot the phone.
After reboot open the Camera and see what happens...

I have a N910T Tmobile phone & I finally got the FSCID mod to work by
renaming the SecPhone.apk inside the zip file to SecTeleService.apk but
by doing that the stock camera app fc's each time it's opened.
Perhaps someone here knows how to fix this issue with FSCID?
Also does anyone know if Dr.Ketan's custom rom will work on my Note 4
N910T Tmobile phone if I simply flash/use my Note 4 N910T's kernel from
my existing N910T custom rom after flashing Dr.Ketan's custom rom?
Thanks!
But does your app record calls while on Bluetooth on Galaxy Note 4?, it's very important for me. I used Call Recorder on rooted Galaxy Note 3 and it could record with and without Bluetooth

Hi,
I'm using Total recall - realy good software, but it's not recording calls via bluetooth. On Note 3 I had no problems. For me is very important to record my calls via bluetooth - if there is a way - please share with us.
Thank you very much in advance!

100% working call recording app?

So far I've already tried two apps, but none of them was able to record the person on the other side of the phone call...
Hola
Can you at least state:
1. What model you have - Exynos or Snapdragon.
2. What 2 apps did you already try?
I will be getting the Snapdragon version and getting call recording, without root, is important for me.

Hola
You may want to check out Call Recorder - Skvalex from the Play Store or search for his XDA thread to find out where else you can download it. The version that I am using is under Beta.
Hands down his product is the best I have come across. But I do not know if it will work with the S9 Exynos or Snapdragon versions.

Thank you both I am definitely going to give it a try! [emoji106]
I am sorry to inform you that this app doesn't even start recording when there's a phone call going on (maybe it's an issue with Exynos devices only dunno...).
Next suggestion?
ACR by NLL failed too, but I found a post by the author saying that it looks like there's an issue with several Samsung Oreo updated devices going on.
Yes this looks like a massive problem...
No phone call recorders are working at all on the S9's

None of the call recording apps work on S9/S9+. I guess this is a bug on the Samsung side, rather than a block on purpose. But none of the call recording apps work and won't gonna work till Samsung fix it.

Any idea what the problem is? Like API is not supported? Lack of particular permissions? I've personally tried couple of applications, but nothing works except recording via microphone which doesn't pick the other party. S9+ Exynos version.
Based on Google's security policy and local law, Samsung has blocked call recording through 3rd party applications. Thus this operation is intended behavior. However, some 3rd party application developers had found a detour to record each voice during calls and applied it to their apps. Those applications have been working on previous Samsung devices whereas is blocked on S9/S9+ device due to improved call recording solutions. So we plan to apply this solution on old models
Boldbeast call recorder works perfectly on my Unlocked Galaxy S9+ (965U1). It has since the GS7E.

Upgraded my Note 8 SM-N950F to official stock Oreo and I can confirm that call recording apps are working fine.
But no app is working in S9 SM-G960F and S9+ SM-G965F devices.
Thanks I hope someone will come up soon with a solution.

any updates?
It's definitely being blocked. I downloaded a third party app store and one of their recording apps. It started recording. I can hear the dialing, but then a second later it's just noise.

Call recording without rooting?

Call recording is important to me. In the past I've always rooted my phones and used @skvalex's app which is amazing.
For the first time, I'm considering not rooting because I want Google Pay and system updates to work smoothly. I know there are workarounds but they seem like a lot of trouble.
Has anyone found a good solution to record calls on the pixel without root?
I have the US version, unlocked.
Thanks!
Try this
OnePlus Call Recorder - Apps on Google Play
OnePlus Call Recorder lets you record Whatsapp, Skype, Zoom and Telegram calls.
play.google.com
Hi ameer, unfortunately that app doesn't record the internal uplink+downlink. Rather it records from the devices's mic. Several apps do this such as Call Recorder by @skvalex (the best). But they can't record bluetooth conversations.

It doesn't help without root. If you select uplink / downlink in the settings without root, the calls will not be recorded.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Up until this phone, I used JOnePlus Tools app to enable stock call recording in my previous phones, the 7 pro, 6t and 5t, unrooted. I have installed it and done so with my n10 5g but i dont see it working like it had in the past. I dont know if maybe its the dialer, or if the nord maybe didnt come with the ability to record calls like the phones before it. Either way, without root it seems your options might be limited.

This is because the Nord series comes with the Google dialer instead of the OnePlus dialer.
In Oxygen OS 11 it is reportedly possible to installthe oneplus dialer and enable recording. The Nord has an OOS update but the Nord n10 5G does not.
I have bought Nord n10 5G today for my wife, but I realized now that call recording is not allowed on this. Do you have any methods to make it possible?
I have tried the OCR mentioned above and it works well on Nord n10 5G even though file name doesn't have contact name. But voice is well recorded clearly.
Looks to me like that OCR is the same as the other noon root solutions that record from the speakers rather than the phone line.
This means it will not work for calls via Bluetooth.
It's not much different than just using the built in screen recorder and extracting the audio.

Has anyone tried call recording with the Galaxy A14/A32 5G?

Hi, I got myself a phone which I'm using right now (J7 max), and wondering to get a new one (A14/A32 5G). is it working while using whatsapp, FB messenger, and line with call recording apps?
