it's also cloned as gionee elife e6.
i want 4.3 or 4.4 because i didn't find anything rather than a miui that i actually hate

I currently own a Allview X1 Soul. It is the same with Gionee Elfie and many other phones. None of this phones has an official kitkat release. I've been searching the internet for a custom kitkat rom. Nothing found. Yesterday I found out that the Lenovo S960 has the same specs as allview x1 soul. ( SAME PROCESSOR SAME RAM SAME EVERYTHING). It seems that for the Lenovo S960 there is an official release of Kitkat 4.4.2.
Now my question is:
I have the files of the Lenobo S960 and I need to flash the files. How can I port this files to my phone? Can I just directly flash them?
The porting tutorials doesnt help me very much as the files are not .zip (rom).
If anyone has any idee, I would be very greatfull.

Good news guys, Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with amigo 3.2 is coming soon for Gionee S6/Blu Vivo 5/ Qmobile noir z12/Allview soul x3/ Condor allure a55 slim later this month may be on 24th of August, date is not confirmed but it will be this month.. You have to be on any previous version of Gionee S6 firmware for the update.. I have already Flashed Gionee S6 firmware on my Z12.. And I am now waiting for the update..

Can you post quick instructions on how you flashed the Gionee S6 firmware? Do you have a link to the .zip file that you used? Finally, did you lose root and have to complete that process again?

Cheers Guys !!! I got the marshmallow update today in gionee s6. There are many new feature which is aweosme. But one problem is bootloader is locked and I am getting difficulties in unlocking the bootloader as well as to root. Any suggestion guys ???

Did you flash the stock rom of Gionee s6 ? you can find it in firmwarefile website.

Probably not
I don't know how I would be able to tell if I was on
it or not. Could you explain what that is? I'm just used to going into settings and updating the software as the updates come.

I installed the update this morning and everything is running good. No glitches that I have experienced at the moment.

I have checked all over the internet about a stock rom for the lenovo YT3 850 M (i am from India).
Apart from the:
1. chinese version of the roms for YT3 850F & 850M (these dont include the google package by default)
2. Source codes for the tablets YT3 850 F/ L/ M
I havent been able to find any firmware for my tablet.
The mess happened after updating the stock 5.1 to android 6.x.
I was wondering if anyone with a lenovo YT3 850M and a big heart can extract and post their stock ROM.
Appreciate any help with my issue in advance.
