Reinstalling Nillkin tempered glass protector

Hi guys ,
I installed a Nillkin screen protector on my phone yesterday but I noticed that there a tiny scratch or a scuff mark on one side , its either on glass or on film , Was wondering can Nillkin screen protectors be re-installed ?
Can I just take it off , wash it with warm soapy water and re apply it , will it work ?
I've failed to do so, otoh if you've got time and patience to soak in soapy water to dissolve the adhesive and try it might work. I'd be interested in your experience

So i m the guinea pig . LOL!! . I'll wait 3-4 days to get more replies , if nothing I will give a shot and let u know.
Word of caution, have a cheapo plastic protector on hand for if the experiment does not go well.

I washed my LG G2 tempered glass screen protector, iloome flex twice and it works great. but use bottled water, tap water might cause water spots when dried.
don't know if it works with nillkins. it's very difficult not to catch dust particle while drying. or use thick framed case to cover the scuffs if it's on the edge
I've removed, reinstalled mime glass before. Wash it with soap and water, rinse it and stick it wet. Push out any bubbles let it sit for 20 minutes or so to dry

I washed my glass protector in soapy, warm water, blew off the water bubbles with canned air, then reapplied. Stuck great, no issues.
Cheers everyone , Will try this out on weekend.

[Tip] on applying stickers to your Note 8's back and preventing lifting at the edges

I have a Note 8 and LOVE the way it looks naked but have always wanted to go back to the Kyrobe sticker from stickerboy. I had it on my Nexus 4 and it was easy to apply because it was flat. With today's phones the backs are usualy curved slightly and the cuts are exact so if you don't have one side right, the other side is going to go over a bit. I applied the stickerboy skin and it came out very close but I couldn't get the edges to stay down. The corners were worse because they're also curved.
I looked at dbrand's videos and they recommend blow drying it. That's cool but I don' thave a blow dryer. But what I do have is a zip lock bag and hot water. I microwaved some hot water for 2 minutes, put it in the bag, sealed it then placed the bag over the edges of the phone and voila! It had enough eat to melt down the adhesive to create closer fit. Now I have no more lifting of the edges.
This is a pic of how I did it, using my phone case as a placeholder for the phone.

Rear Glass panel lifting of back of Huawei P20 lite

Recently I noticed the rear top right hand blue coloured glass was lifting of the rear of the phone. I don't know if this is a problem with the adhesive or if I damaged it. Has anyone else got this problem ? And what would you recommend I do ?
Can you sort’ve see the inside of the phone?
Sounds like the glue may have just come loose. Try take a hairdryer and warm the back up to melt the glue a little and see if it sticks back down.
The back comes off quite cleanly if you melt it and pull it off. It doesn’t “clip” down. There’s only glue holding it in place.
I’ve taken the back of mine quite a few times and haven’t had to replace the adhesive so there shouldn’t be any harm IF it’s only lifting because of the glue not sticking properly.

Same problem, started today.
Will try hairdryer tomorrow.
Cheers for the heads up.

Might be a solution for Dust problem...

Hmmmm..... it's clear that the gap between camera lens and plastic rectangular bump should be filled to prevent intrusion of dust,,,,,
For all new Curtana users
Just apply a macro(small) drop of glue and rub it along sides of lens and let it dry for few min. it may make a seal to prevent dust from going inside ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, just a small drop , better use a transparent glue
For those users having dust inside camera lens
Use a strong jet of air , don't use HOT air it may damage internals (sometimes jet nozzle is available with vaccum pump) and blow it in all the 4 sides of rectangular lens this may help. Else go to Authorised Mi service center
This is a poll for CURTANA u may participate ?

Now with broken nothing can be done
teardown your phone and find a Curtana glass protector (Amazon, Flipkart, Alibaba) and fix it in place for original camera lens( might be a hard process)
Or
Else go to Authorised Mi service center ?
Is there any photo for the guide?

everyone concerned should have a look at this thread. apparently there is a gap between top-glass and the plastic camera hump with the worst gap in top right corner (main camera corner) and a smaller gap in bottom left corner supposedly letting dust through.
i took some macro shots of the four corners of mine.
both images are of the SAME worst top-right hand corner gap of my phone in slightly different angles . one seemingly has a gap other doesnt. visually its very tricky to find the gap, i would advise trying slotting the gap with a thin paper to find one if there is. i tried and could'nt. maybe it is fixed in the new ones, only time would tell.
the only proper solution i can think of is wicking some glue into the gaps with a piece of paper

sm-t510 how to remove back cover

Hi everyone! My question is how to remove the back cover? I have never done any repairs on this model. I found only one video that says SM T510 the guy removed the screen just to take the back off. Thanks for your help
Watch some teardown vids.
It's an LCD display right? Do Not allow alcohol *or any solvents near the display. They can poison and destroy it!!!
Generally heat and careful prying with plastic picks are how it's done. Take your time.
Verify the correct method and have the right tools for the job.
Understand ESD protocols and practices if disassembling the components ie display, mobo.
Out of circuit they are suspectable to ESD damage.
At the very least make sure the room humidity is 50% or higher. A earth grounded ESD mat and wrist strap are best.
*with AMOLED displays you can use anhydrous isopropyl alcohol to make it easier to break the seal adhesive. You don't have this option. LCDs are very sensitive to solvent poisoning. Their edges aren't sealed as they need to be able to equalize to outside air pressure, they use a semipermeable membrane.
