Hi guys! I would like to ask some help about my Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGH-I747M)

Using in: Philippines
It is unlocked but the problem is it cant connect to network. as shown on the screen shot.
pls. if anyone know how to solve this, help me please
i tried many ways to solve this problem but no luck. help help help

@tadubaid: is IMEI, shown in settings ..info, the same as on label under battery? Is your phone rooted?

yes sir, it is the same. i traveled to the town and i had signal. but when i came back to our location, problem returns. phones here should have a signal cause we are just about 2 kilometers away from the town. my s3 is LTE capable. i tried switching to gsm and what the other one? but still didnt solve the problem,

its not rooted and i am running stock rom sir.

hello everyone,
I'm currently using the stock orange france version of i9300....And yesterday, when I tried to flash the 4.1.1 official Jelly Bean i9300DLIB...everything seemed to be find, the signal is still there....BUT IT'S HOPELESS FOR ME TO MAKE ANY CALLS OR MESSAGES-not registered in network T^T....even through the signal is full and my phone can easily detect the SIM card
After that pain, I tried to find my way back to the stock rom from downloading (i forgot to do the nandroid backup but only imei backup) and all i found out is the "No signal" sign (circle with a cross) and it's still useless to make phone calls and messages before and after i restored the imei.
please help T^T....I'm one of many victims including my friends...

i did flash back to my stock and all i got is "nosignal"
in the 4.1.1 version i still have signal bar without accessibility calling to anyone else...sound the same

was ur phone carrier specific ? or international unlocked? hopefully international unlocked! have u entered wrong pin for sim?

my phone is the orange france one and i dont know exactly if it was unlocked before or not

When you say your phone is bricked... Need a little more info to assist
How did it happen?
Can you boot into recovery or download?

The lack of imei means you need to return it to Samsung for repair.

First thing's first,
IF You can go to download mode
then please go to sammobile.com, make an account there, download a firmware.
FLASH VIA ODIN

If you have not backup your efs,then go back to the Samsung store.
Whiteout a efs backup you can not restore the efs.

I have read all the other threads I can find on this subject but cannot find an answer, I purchased a GT-19300 from Ebay (don’t laugh) it worked great for a couple of weeks, then I updated it with stock JB upgrade from ICS, and now it will not register on the network, I have re flashed it returned it stock, re flashed it, checked all the settings I can find, tried other sim cards from the same network and other networks, all with the same result, it shows the network in the network status screen, gives signal strength, I have checked the basic settings with another phone and all are the same. the phone is unlocked, all I did was update to Android 4.1.1 I have also since downloaded a modem rom and flashed that, did not make a difference. Device state is Normal, but the serial number is 000000000000 I am in the UK and my network is orange, but as I said I have tried an O2 sim as well with the same result. Please help!! Thanks

Thanks for your reply, but my IMEI number is ok, it is still the same as before the upgrade, when the phone was working. the serial number is 000000000000 now, but that is not the IMEI #

Just to let you know, the above link WORKED, I applied the patch and now I have a working phone again, thank you all for your help :victory::highfive:
I am unable to connect to 3g network always shows x dead signal 2works fine .. :crying: ... My phones version is ROW S124 ; baseband version v23 ... Any solution how can we fix this issue?? When I went to service center , they told its a hardware issue we will have to change PCB .. Pathetic service in India (Bangalore) ... Need help ... Newbie

3G coverage in India is very bad and that is the highest possible reason. Do you get GSM signal to make and receive calls? Whenever I saw 'x' near the signal icon, the problem was IMEI lost or wrong Radio flash. Try retrieving your IMEIs using Mobile uncle if you have backed up them. Else try different Modems which is also explained with steps in one of the other thread in this Forum.

GSM is absolutely working fine on 2G mode. No problem with calls n all so far,I just have problem only with WDCMA mode and on auto mode thats all . whenever i select WCDMA mode it show X near signal... I a newbie so plz help me installing modem on this or any other solution.. Thanks

Hello everyone! I have a problem with my s9+ DUOS SM-G965F. I cannot make any call. The carrier is showing, but the signal is dropping.. and then I get not registered on network. I tried:
1. Reset network settings
2. Factory data Reset
3. 2 SIMs different carriers(is not locked), both sims works on another phone.
What can I do? Maybe hardware problem? If hardware, what can be? What piece of hardware? Thank you!
On dialer put: *#06#
If IMEI = 0000000000000 then you can't get a working line because you don't have IMEI.

Did you purchase your mob new or 2nd hand?
I wonder if the hone is blocked / reported lost or stolen in Your country?
Type *#06# and make a note of the IMEI then paste it into https://imei24.com/blacklist_check/
You can also consider flashing the stock firmware via odin. You can download it for free from sammobile
I bought it 2nd hand, I have 2 IMEI s and none of those IMEI are blacklisted. I got the phone to a service and told me it wasn't unlocked properly.

No, it was a hardware problem. A common thing on the s9. I sold the phone.
@cpanait69 I have the exact same problem but it happens like 70% of the time. Started happening since 7 months. Not really sure what to do with this phone now.
