Wisky 3G068i 9,7" w8.1bing->w10 fail. Error message, cannot continue. unusable.Urgent
Hey,
I got Wisky 3G068i 9,7" w8.1bing tablet yesterday.
It was reset to factory settings. After getting things going, it worked fine with win8.1 and updated itself. Then asked do I want to update to win 10 and after reading and ppl saying its better(and i dont really like win 8) I updated it throught windows own update screen.
After night of installing it, it was stuck on 95% (took hellish long time) and had error message on it "please install extrenal removable media and press ok" (its in finnish so translation might not be correct but you get the point)
I tried clicking yes, no affect. Then removed card, put it back in and it started to revert itself back to win 8.1 after saying not enough room or some error(cant remember correct anymore).
It reverted approx 8 hours then that error came again and now its stuck on it, it wont do anything.
I tried to create win10 install to micro SD with win10 media creation tool but it wont boot from it. It boots up, wisky logo is seen and then rolls loading dot for while, then flashes some screen like command screen, very fast, I cant read what its doing and the error is back.
What can I do? there must be some way to get to reinstall of windows 8.1bing or win10 but how? I dont know does tablets have bios or how to get to it, or how do even get it to boot up some install media.
Been googling another 8 hour but i just cannot find anything that would help my situation.
How can I force it to boot from microSD or do I need to get some microusb-female usb adapter for usb stick? I have a USB hub and throught it i was able to install the win10 installation to usb stick and microsd but idk does the tablet understand that hub(and read from it the usb stick)
i have years of experience with pc's but with tablets i dont really have any.
Tablet has 3 puttons: power on/off and volume up/down
Since I dont have manual, i dont know how to do any resets on it or anything and seller did not have one and maker is chinese and hasnt answered me.
I found old posts on internet saying ppl did get the win10 to install but none posted how they did it.
tablet has:
2gb ram
16gb harddrive
microSD port where I have 64Gb brand new Kingston class10(it works even it says on specs 32gb is biggest)
3.5mm port and micro HDMI port.
Please any help is useful and Im forever gracious to whomever can help me fix it! heck i even buy you a beer if possible

[Q] GTab not recognized by PC at all

First, let me say that I've searched and searched and looked for all the info I can find about people having similar problems. I've yet to find anything that works for me, and I'm at my wit's end on this...
A few days ago I tried [unsuccessfully] to update CWM on a GTab. I can't get into recovery at all now (it just hangs), but this problem predates that.
The problem I have is that I cannot get any PC to recognize the GTab - in any mode - and I've tried 4 computers with various operating systems. I've tried Fedora, Ubuntu, Windows XP and Windows 7 and none of them will see the GTab at all. They won't see it with debugging on, with it off, in APX mode or anything.
I have gone through half a dozen cables and tried every USB port I've got. It just simply will not recognize the tablet in any way.
I'm toying with the possibility that the port might be damaged, but I can't think of a good reason why that would be the case. The tablet has been well taken care of, and all the other ports work just fine (audio, USB storage, SD).
So, has anybody else run into this issue and found a fix for it?

Read: Only ClockWork recovery on boot
Check dmesg to see if tablet is detected: A self inflicted wound
Also: [Q] (really) bricked g-tab.
If you can't boot the tablet at all--into either ROM or recovery--, then there's nothing you can do if your USB isn't working. If you can boot into one of them, then there's hope.
I managed to get CWM installed (was my bad on trying to flash the wrong one to upgrade it anyway). It's always booted just fine into the ROM, and everything works but the USB connection to PC.
I am actually a Linux admin by trade, so I kept an eye on all pertinent system logs and outputs when I tried it on the Linux box. No dice.

Well, you have to be careful about these things. APX mode, for instance, only "connects" to the host PC once, so if you unplug and replug hoping to see USB device recognition messages from the Linux kernel, then you will be disappointed.
What about on the gTablet? Does the kernel print anything pertinent when the cable is connected to the host PC (enable USB debugging first)? Are there any other error messages or diagnostics?
That's the troubling part. I'm finding absolutely nothing. Nothing at all to indicate there's any kind of issue. My guess at this point is that the USB port must be physically broken. I can't see any other way to make sense of it.
Here's one final suggestion: Open the gtab up and disconnect the battery. Wait 1 minute then reconnect the cable.
See if it helps. (It's for people who can't even boot the tablet into APX mode, but, try it before concluding that it is a HW problem).

[Q] MK808B don't boot

Hi
I have a problem with my google tv , MK808B
It doesn't boot
I have black screen after "android"
It seem to be a real one, not a fake, I open it and see it on another site, with pictures from the real and the fake
I try to flash another firmware, but I can't put it in flash mode, when I press reste button and connect to usb from otg to my pc, my pc doesn't detect mk800b
I try on differents pc
Sorry for my english, I prefer try by myself, I think it is better than google tradcution (perhaps not ?)
Up
Hi there, I got that problem as well when I first got it. Mine just stucks at the "android" logo screen forever. I panic and look up online. Apparently if you be able to flash different rom then the stock one, it should work fine like in my case. First connect your device to the computer under flash mode. So when you download the firmware zip file, unzip and you file the driver for your device "\Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.5\Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.5\RockusbDrive" it will depend on your computer to be 32 or 64bit to choose the right driver. Next go to your device manager, scan one more time for new device and update the driver from the directory above. If you install the driver properly the computer will recognize your device with no hiccup. Hope this help cause I solve my problem through this step as well.
Old threat but......
There is something around google with the nandchip pin 8 & 9. I rote something after search for mk808b firmware. Sorry for the bad help.

Lenovo A660 URGENT

Hello I'm new to this scene and I apologize I don't really know what I am doing.
I ordered the A660 from an amazon seller and I could not get the phone to show anything past the Lenovo Logo upon power on. I could get into the android recovery but in the internal memory were only empty folders. I don't yet have a micro SD yet so I proceeded to search the internet for a way to get my phone working. I came across several forums about flashing and what not and proceeded to download and installed MediaTek DA USB VCOM port drivers and smartphone Multi-port download tool [v3.1228.00-A2012.08.03]
I proceeded to try to get the phone to connect to windows so it could be connected. I got a 'dl error' message in super multi-port tool (see pic 1) and am now worried that I bricked my new phone. PLEASE say it ain't so. It still shows up in device manager for a while when I plug it back in but does not charge or bring up the Lenovo branding on the phone anymore. Pic below represents where I am at.
**Update***
Seconds pic shows what sp flash tool says.
your issue is not SW
it is HW
i had same issue, they why the seal the phone in cheep price, as it have HW issue.
if you take the battery and charger with any multiply battery charger, the phone will work.

[Q]Bricked Quattor 10+ overmax

Hello. I have problem tablet Overmax Quattor 10+ (my friend give it to me, becouse she pushed too hard power on button, so I had to open tablet and repair it by home-made solution). Everything gone perfect, tablet went on to the PIN screen. I asked her if she know it, but she said that the tablet hadn't any PIN secure. I was searching a lot how to crack PIN (not for SIMcard, just Android secure), but I didnt find anything so I started to install software again. I downloaded everything from here : overmax site. After download I pressed HomeButton connected to PC, program has found the device and asked me to format or not device. I pressed yes, the formatting went to 4% and device has disconnected (I didnt touch the USB cable or something). After this tablet couldn't boot (nothing show on screen), when I try again to format it, the program show info, that the Tablet or system image is incorrect. Windows detect the device in Device Manager. Anyone have solution for this?
Thank you in advice. Greetings.

Ematic EGS-102 stuck on logo screen; computer doesn't see it when connected with USB

Hello,
I have a rooted Ematic EGS-102. Following some instructions to swap my internal sd with the external one (as the memory where the apps' data get downloaded to was only 500MBs), I believe I have typed something incorrectly inside the vold.fstab file, because after rebooting my tablet it's forever stuck on the logo screen. This is my first android tablet so please bear with me. The solution that comes to mind is to open the root files by some program on my PC and edit the vold.fstab file back (I even have a backed up version of it from a few weeks earlier), or even flash a new ROM. Now, the problem is, my computer cannot see my tablet when I connect it through USB. At all. Back before when the tablet was fine, I could use the USB to transfer files to and from my computer, but after I killed my tablet, my computer doesn't even make the sound which indicates that a USB device has been connected.
I have tried changing the USB cable and the port where I connect it to (never mind that the same cable and port work with other devices), to no avail. Having given up on the USB method working, I decided to follow some instructions on installing a custom ROM that has worked on EGS-004, and according to the one who posted that, would work on other variants such as EGS-102. Basically It was steps to installing the ROM from the external card through Recovery mode, which I followed thoroughly to no avail. The tablet still gets stuck on the "ematic" logo start screen.
I've noticed that in the Device Manager my tablet is displayed as "USB Device(VID_1f3a_PID_efe8)" with a yellow triangle mark indicating that it's not working properly (code 10). I tried searching that error code and trying all the solutions I found to no avail, including updating the driver (just refuses to update and keeps telling me that my driver is up to date.)
Sadly all the other methods that would have a decent shot at working (Root explorer on PC, android recovery program, even a flash EGS-004 firmware method on ematic's website) requires USB. I'm out of solutions, and unless I can get the USB to work somehow, or find out why the ROM method didn't work, my tablet would officially be dead. I'm utterly miserable that such a stupid mistake on my part ruined my tablet, and I have no way of buying another (broke student here) or returning it (out of warranty and I'm pretty sure I voided it anyway). I would absolutely appreciate any help, and thanks in advance.
Edit: It's stuck on logo screen, not a bootloop. I'm terribly sorry for this confusion, my head isn't straight right now.
Still haven't found a solution :/
