CWM or TWRP on Hisense Sero 5, help please - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone, I'm new here so if I've just posted this on a wrong place please, just tell me. Also forgive any misspelling, english is not my first language.
Fisrt some introduction, I've been having some problems with my new phone, the Hisense HS-L691 or Sero 5, which has a custom android and some trash apps, I've normally worked fine on factory androids if they have everything i want which is not much, after a quick root and some deleting trash I encounter whith my first "big" poblem, the factory android doesn't let me to fully control the volume of my device, which I know it can sound stupid but I can assure it's been annoying, so I wanted to change the android version (maybe a 5.0 or a clean 4.4.4) I start to search and I find some tutorials which worked fine until I find out I need CWM, I didn't know what was that (I know, duh) I start looking and I find out there's no support on my device, I start looking some "universal" tutorials which didn't work until finally I lost my mind.
tl;dr: Device's android works like **** and I wanna change it but my device isn't supported.
So I'm calling for help to anyone who can point me on the right direction, I don't know how to code but I consider myself a quick learner if you give me the right resources (I woke up without knowing how to make a hard-reset)
I just need that little push, of course if someone can guide me on the process I won't say no.
Thank you very much for your time, looking forward about your responses.

Beta TWRP Recovery
Hi, sorry for my english in advance.
I've made a beta TWRP recovery image. It starts but crashes after a while. You can perform some oprations and navigate screens but after a while it crashes. If anyone could help us to get a working twrp and a new ROM(Maybe lollipop or MarshMellow) it would be great!
Thanks
Send me a message for the recovery file, cause i'm not able to post link as a new user.

Help a Hopeless, Please!

Where to start? Well we can start by saying that I am a fool. I won from my uncle his Galaxy S2 (GT-i9100), but wanted to upgrade to version 4.2. It is a phone bought in Latin America branded by Claro. He had UHKI4 Kernel and system android 2.3.4 (if I remember correctly). So I rooted the device using the method of Odin3 v1.85 with CF-Root-Kernel-v4.1-SGS2_UH_MUL_KG7 CWM4. The root was ok!
I went into recovery mode and tried to follow the steps of this video /watch?v=ezuW5qFS8-w. I used the I9100VJMS4_I9100ZTAMS4_ZTA rom. But something went wrong and my phone is stuck in recovery mode CWC. Cant boot, I dont know how to flash anyhing...I need help, I wonder if it is possible to recover the phone yet and if possible put the kernel back and remove the root ... summarizing back to the original.
I appreciate if any help was as detailed as possible. And thank since now everyone who read the topic. Sorry for english errors
Well I am hopeless :crying:
Well I managed to restore a backup :fingers-crossed:, I'm actually pretty dumb . I downloaded a firmware instead of a ROM (you can laugh now) .
But I still doubt. Let's think in two hypothetical situations below:
1 - I would like to upgrade from version 2.3.4 to 4.0 or 4.2. And put a custom ROM or Stock
2 - I would go back to the original kernel and unroot.
How to proceed in each case?
Glad you got it working again. Now that you have it working and not in such a panic, you should do some reading. Someone telling you how to do things like that will never work out, you'll always be relying on others to do whatever modifications you are currently attempting. By reading and learning about it, you'll be able to do it all for yourself. So how to proceed in each case? Research & learn about each one. Both are legitimate things to do, and there are plentiful threads/guides on each.
Sent from my GT-I9100: Powered by Dorimanx, running RootBox
1.use a pc
2.use cwm
Lol
Well, I could do what I wanted. Thanks for the reply Hopper8. After I calmed down I could organize ideas. And thanks for the detailed answer theunderling lol
No problem....any time

[Q] I have a question for a developer regarding recovery

I have just ported CWM for my tablet (Denver-TAC-70051) that is nowhere on the internet, although I hesitate to flash it, I have a question, If I where to screw up the recovery would android still boot up? and another thing, how could I back up my recovery into a .img, my block structure is quite weird, I will attach a screenshot with it, if anyone could help me I would appreciate i, thanks I
Hi, any progress on this? How did it turn out?
I'm thinking about making a ROM for the TAC70051 as well.. No need if you already got one working. Care to share?
PS: I've got the stock-rom from Denver, if you need that I can give you the link!

ROM-Dev for Huawei G620s-L01

Hi,
i want to build a Custom-Rom for my new Huawei G620s. I don't like EMUI and the other Huawei stuff. In past i had a Galaxy allways running with CM and it was perfekt, but i crashed the display.
I dont find any full-functional Cutomrom for my G620s so i want to make my one, first only with removing Huaweistuff and replace the Launcher and some apps/pics/sounds
My Problem is i nowhere can find the actuall Recovery-Image B256 (latest Version), where can i get this Stock-Rom?
How can I make a full, i mean really full and flashable Image of my actuall Rom? I want to bavkup my actuall system, then do a factory reset, dump that rom and recover my actuall systrm so that i can work on Rom and use my Phone at the same time.
My Phone is rooted, Bootloader is unlocked and CWM is installed, adb is working, as OS i have Windows 7 and Linux Mint.
Hope you untetstand what exactly i want to do, for samsung it was really easy to find Stockroms and flash them with odin but for my Huawei i can't find really helpful infos :/
All i found here is not exactly what i am looking for.....don't understand how to backup really everything from the phone and recover it later. And in almost every Tutorial there is "get the Stockrom to work with" but i have no idea where to find the actuall for my Device.
Hope you can help me and sorry for my bad english

another nextbp7 problem

It's almost time to upgrade but right now, I need to do everything I can for the nbp7.
I have been searching, reading, and attempting everything I could find to fix this tablet for night and days. Some root/busybox detectors/verifiers gave me different results. Before this I knew nothing about this world so i'm a real greenhorn here. All I know so far is my device is rooted because of build no. V2.0.1.JRO03C.user.root.20131219. Afterwards some apps tell me I'm rooted and some told me no. I'm afraid something went terribly wrong with the files. I can't unroot, flash a new recovery, install adb, pretty much nothing works. All the apps I've tried told me an unknown bootloader. I just want to either return the tablet to original factory default or take control of the thing. This is the info I gathered from settings>about :
Model NX007HD8G
Android V. 4.1.1
Kernel 3.0.8
Serial no. YF031412173
And the build number above
At the moment I don't know what other info you guys might need so forgive me if I'm not thorough. Please, help me take control of my device.
( this is a copy&paste from XDA Assist forum, my first thread, I now have some new info )
I found a thread at freaktab.com by Shaunmt few days back. thread dated 2012 but closest to my tablet. I tried it of course and it didn't work, my recovery screen was already recovery 3e. Modified or not I'm not sure, but I found the ulmage recovery file just some file, not an image. I just followed his instructions from there but I think the instructions are wrong at some point. Maybe XDA can verify and confirm the package. If all goes well this would really shorten this case  .
URL : freaktabdotcom in forum under tablet support android & search for nextbook tablet amlogic next7hd8g nx007hd8g modified recovery stock ROM flashable root.
( lol those were the URL, I just took out the characters and symbols, sorry for the inconvenience ) . This is my third post, please bare with me.
Respectfully,
Huy L.

[Need Help] Problem getting Google Apps on a Lenovo tablet from China!

Hello community,
I writing this post as my last hope before I get rid of this wonderful tablet. I created a post describing my issue a few weeks ago, but didn't get any attention by the community.
Please if you have a few minutes to spare, take a quick look at this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/how-to-install-google-apps-lenovo-tb-t3732282
I bought this tablet from China, and I am unable to install and run Google Apps on this device. Is it even possible? How and why they have blocked the apps in such a way in those Chinese ROMS from Lenovo?
Please my request to this wonderful community, I need your help, I'm not experienced in rooting and installing rooms/apps.
Thanks,
JC
No reply on this post as well :'(
Why am I being ignored by the community? I have heard great things about this community and how people help each other out, and I'm posting this 2nd time and haven't got a single reply yet.
Guys, I'm in a very bad position. Please please please, help me out!
Not even a single reply. :'(
Finally found a way to root my tablet and install all the Google Apps on it.
For those of you who have got the TB-8804F version of the tablet with _PRC build. I can confirm now, that after rooting the tablet you can easily flash the google apps. I have done it and been using it without any problems now.
All you need is TWRP for your device, here is one from a Chinese developer (thanks a million to him):
https://club.lenovo.com.cn/thread-4285931-1-1.html
Download the TWRP img from the link above, and then follow the instructions from the following website:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/thinkpad-tablet/general/twrp-root-tab-4-plus-tb-x704l-f-tb-t3664407
TIP:
1. Instead of flashing your tablet with TWRP, you can just boot it temporarily. (That is much safer option, as mentioned in the article above).
2. The TWRP for TB-8804F that you can download from the link give above is in Chinese version by default. Use Google Translate live camera feature to translate the buttons, there is one button on TWRP which allows you to change the language to English.
3. Take a full backup of your tablet and store multiple copies of it securely before flashing anything.
4. Download your desired GAPPS from http://opengapps.org/
Hope you can easily do it and enjoy this wonderful piece of hardware.
Cheers!
Cheers for finding it out yourselves! And also helping others with a detailed guide.
