Application for recording calls on Moto E CM13 (2014) - Moto E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I am using Moto E -X1022 (2014) mobile with CM13 installed on it. I am trying to record my phone calls on the mobile but the volume of sound coming of the other party is toooooo low.
Is there any good working apk or method to increase the sound of the other party to record the calls properly.
Earlier when I was using stock ROM, recording was properly done in most of the applications but now after I installed CM13 or other ROMs other than stock ROM, this problem occurred.
regards

Yeah I'm looking for this too.
btw which stock rom were you on when recording was fine, KitKat or Lollipop?
and which app were you using on cm13?

[Q] Any way to record calls?

Hello,
I'm trying to get call recording working on my Z2.
I'm on a stock based 4.4.4 rom (from Dikej).
The problem is that I can only record calls via microphone, so only my voice will be recorded. Whenever I've tried choosing voice uplink + downlink recording, it fails. It just won't record.
I've tested plenty of apps, I even used Xposed module, which says sth. like "audio resorce is not available" after pressing the record button.
I've tried also different kernels, but without any luck.
My dad also owns a Z2, with completeley stock ROM, no root etc. and he just installs the same app that I have and it's working.
Is there any way to make it work?
Maybe someone has a good, tested kernel, that can record both sides.

Try this - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.record.my.call
Works for me in stock rom, change the settings according to your needs.

Yeah, that's exactly the app I have and it doesn't work correctly on my phone
Xperia Dialer Mods for me just fine, clear and working perfectly. But u need to install xposed first.
I'm using existenz 4.5.0 and it has call record enabled on the rom, no apps / xposed needed
Just go to settings / call / call recording (enable)
I think stock 4.4.4 has this too (not sure / don't remember), see if you have the option in the settings, if you have just enable it and you can record perfectly, straight from the stock in-call-ui
In many devices selecting one of the VOICE CALL audio sources (e.g. VOICE_CALL, VOICE_UPLINK, VOICE_DOWNLINK) will fail because it is not properly enabled / implemented by the manufacturer. You should choose (if applicable) DEFAULT (not MIC) audio source.
You can try Jit Call Recorder. if it does not work and you have root we can send you a configuration file to help you make it work.
Thanks but it could not recorded although has appeared button icons

Major audio issue

There is a big audio issue with my RN3. Since I installed CM13 official nightly the loud speaker stopped working while using media playbacks. But only the ringtone is working fine, means the loud speaker only works when getting a call but it does't work during a call. I ignored it for a while thinking the next update might solve the issue. Still the problem persists. So, a while back I started using CM 14.0 and 14.1 by santosh. And new isuue came up, now the in speaker (ear) stopped working but the loud speaker is fine during a call. Also the media is all mute, can't hear anything. And yesterday I installed 7.1 rom by abhishek987 same issue. Could someone please explain what might be the problem and help me solve the issue.
Hmm... Did you make clean installs (wipe everything except microsd?)
You could try flashing back MIUI and see if it fixes it, if not im afraid it might be a hw problem
I have (almost) the sam issue.
What i have done: i did a factory reset through twrp and switched from crdroid 7.0 to santosh cm 14.1. All was fine, but yesterday i recognized my mic is not working (phone call, audio recording, Google search etc...). BUT: loudspeaker is working fine, even audio recording via Video.
What i have done:
-restored backup from crdroid 7.0
-restored backup from aicp 12
But my mic is still not working
I also did a full wipe (including /system) and installed aicp 12.1. it does not work
What can i do?

Update: even with my Bluetooth headset with INTEGRATED microphone, i cant make a call or recording...
Must be a Software issue, but why i cant revert via backup?! Seems like Firmware / radio issues for me and that my alka / cofface recovery did not backup these partitions?!

Yeah. This happens from time to time in this phone. Try to clean your mini jack and it should work all fine.

Can I make secondary mic to perform primary mic functions?

[HELP]
Hi all!
Recently, The primary microphone of my redmi note 3 stopped working. But Secondary microphone is working perfectly fine(i have checked it).
Now the problem is I cannot make any calls as the other person doesn't hear a word as only primary mic is used during calls.

**Is there a way that i can use the secondary mic in calling, whatsapp and other apps.**
My phone is rooted. Currently running resurrection remix latest build.
Please Help.
I have tried changing the rom from miui to lineage to resurrection remix. But that didn't help.

[help] oneplus one no sound working!!!!!

Hi everyone, I have a very big issue and I don't know how to solve it.
I have the stock COS 13.1 firmware installed on my OnePlus One and the device has no sound whatsoever.
I cannot listen to music, receive or make calls. My earphones are not detected and the microphone appears to be dead.
Every single app that is linked to sound either crashes or doesn't work properly. For instance, the AudioFx app crashes and I can't record videos with the camera app. NO VIDEO ON YOUTUBE WORKS NO VIDEO ON INSTAGRAM MANY APPS CRASH WHEN TRIED TO USE, MI VIDEO IS ONE OF THEM
Since the applications crash, I think that this is a software issue. I tried every single possible solution: I wiped everything multiple times, restoring the device to factory settings, but nothing.
I also flashed CM13 nightlies, Oxygen OS zips, even CM12 zips, and many other custom roms such as lineage os, carbon rom etc. but nothing. The issue still remains.
Is there a solution?

Does this happen with stock roms if yes then it's a hardware issue but if you have sound on stock tyne it's a configuration issue
