Download TWRP on your computer
Flash TWRP by doing fastboot flash recovery twrp_karin_date.img
Boot up tablet
Download OmniRom, GApps, and SuperSU via computer or tablet and copy it to your device's internal storage.
Make sure usb debugging is enabled and reboot your device into TWRP on your computer by doing adb reboot recovery.
Do a factory reset/wipe in TWRP
Flash the OmniROM ZIP file, the Bank's GApps ZIP file and SuperSU ZIP file
Reboot the tablet and enjoy OmniROM Note - Can take up to 20 minutes to boot on first boot up.

Cool, you post my builds on XDA, without asking for permission. Before posting other's builds, you should ask yourself why they haven't been released yet. Now I could remove all builds and and stop building nightlies (they are built on Jenkins FYI), but I won't. Instead, I'm asking you to get this thread closed because these builds haven't been posted for a good reason. I can't and won't stop you from making your own builds, but posting other's work in a development forum is unacceptable.

Furball707 did nothing for this device, execpt opening the Thread. It was humberto who brought up the Omni Device trees, and it was olivieer who built them for testing purposes.
It's an effrontery to release other peoples work labeling it as your own. Seriously.

Im not so good with this kernel stuff and I have been searching some but cant make any sense of this forced encryption that OP talks about. Just to make it simple could someone who knows maybe list the kernels that are safe to flash from, that wont wipe my device if I flash this. I for example am still running 4.4.4 with Boeffla kernel and I have searched his thread and read around on his homepage but cant find the answer. Im sure im not alone in being grateful for help

All Kernels are Totally Safe to Flash on this ROM. It's Just that If You've Enabled Device Encryption on Your Phone, The ROM's Kernel Will Wipe Out Your Entire Storage.
(Hint: If You've Never Heard of Device Encryption, You Haven't Enabled it and its Totally Safe to Flash the Kernel of Your Choice)

Thank you. I never bothered with messing with kernel settings, I often find the stock setting in the kernels to work best. Thank you for clearing this up for me.

When you say not to fix permissions is that in general or only directly after flashing a fresh install?
Just don't do it at all. It causes bootloops, from my experience, in all 5.0 ROMs.

/system does not mount until I factory reset (expected), but even when mounted in TWRP, it doesn't flash.

Just installed this on EMUI8. Installs OK, but requires encryption on /data. TWRP will not boot upon first boot, so you have to install the magisk zip right away.
One notable bug: contacts seem to disappear on reboot (they do not persist).

Onxy is up and running.
But i had some unexpected reboots in the beginning. I think the problems are with the google Apps.
My way of installation:
reboot to recovery (twrp 3.4.0.0)
wipe all patitions
format data patition
install rom
reboot to recovery
install BiTGApps-arm-11.0.0-R45_signed
reboot
Reboot at following activities:
add a google account - after reboot add a account is posible
update google play store - after reboot play store "update apps" is posible
Now - the telephone sometimes restarts automatically
Config app crashes when using the searchbar.
Which google apps would you recommend?

I used opengapps pico to test it, reboots exist too but no problem to pass the configuration.

Will suerly give it a try.
Just flashed it, I love it beside the fact it crashes when installing some apps and the camera doesn't work.
These apps include:
Signal
Termux
Fennec Browser
How can I fix this?
EDIT:
Random crashes as well, when starting up I get some "Java volume error" not sure what that is all about.
This is probably EOL project, my oneplus x definitely don't want to work with me. Sorry for that and have a great day.
