Can i somehow decrease graphic quality of games in Nox APP player to reduce CPU usage?
Or make the games use more GPU and less CPU ? I mean can i move emulation task weight to the GPU?

Try GLTOOLS https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-gltools-1-29-t2828630
Minimum android req is 2.2 and higher but it is recommended through testing that you have 4.1 or higher. Also you need root and custom recovery for it (TWRP for example). Hope it helps

A Program to overclock only for certain applications?

Is there an app that will let you overclock depending on the app?
I think i've tried most of the popular progs, but they seem to be global overclocks
Right you are. Most programs use global overclocks, like SetCPU, but it allows you to only set profile parameters to certain items like Battery, Screen, etc.

If you have root and a kernel that support it, you can effect this with Tasker - I bump the speed up and change governors when I stream audio on my little Aria to prevent choppy playback, overwise I run underclocked for better battery life.

NeoV CPU freq. always 1024Mhz???

Whenever I check in quadrent standard system info, always says that current cpu freq is 1024mhz...I shutdown all background app with advanced task killer and it;s same frequency...
I remember earlier with old FW it was about 254mhz when no apps running...\
Anu answer???
Hi,
maybe the display is wrong !?
Did you try another app ?
I like Android System Info, cause it shows overall CPU Load...

Try 'cpu spy' from google play store to monitor your cpu usage.
use gl benchmark its a good app for bechmarking

[Q] undervolt and underclock

Is there a way to manually control both the clockspeed and voltage of the CPU?
I am using the sense 4.5 v3 and I use the program called "no frills CPU control" ans I have set the clockspeed to 486mhz if I am just web browsing, yotube, twitchtv, 1080p h264 hw video and so far it is stll very responsive and smooth most of the time.
I only raise the clockspeed to 1.026ghz if I am watching 720p videos thatis not supported by he accel. Because it gets choppy.
I want to be able to manually control the voltage so I could undervolt which should give me more battery life.

System tuner allows u to undervolt by clock frequencys and it allows our to control the clock speed

In order to undervolt you have to be running a custom kernel...it's not supported on stock. Try Awesome Sauce or Evilz, they both support user controlled voltage. You can use system tuner or voltage control, but I had problems getting my voltages to stick after reboot with both. The Viper4g ROM has a built in daemon that allows you to change voltage and it persists until you change it...it's a great ROM otherwise as well, highly recommended.

On system tuner you have to go to settings>active tweaks>re-apply CPU settings and put it to int.d script, it should auto reapply it after each boot

(Help) Games auto closing

i use temasek cm11 rom v124 and boeffla kernel
when i try to play a HD graphic game the game closes and goes back to the home screen. no force close or anything
i have this problem at many games for example real racing 3, Spiderman 2, Kritika..
I think its a ram problem but how can i solve it? i dont have many apps in background and i use greenify to clean it.
please help me
It's surely related to the ridiculous SGS3 ram.
How many apps you have installed? Who are the heaviest ones (e.g. eventual tweaker, system monitor, optimizator, battery saver)?
From Boeffla Config you have to enable z-ram (if you didn't it) and choose 4 devices (one for each cpu core) for better performance.
If you continue to have similar issues with heavy apps/games try to increase the z-ram size (note that first you have to disable it and wait nearly 1 minute, until the action is completed).
Be careful to not exceed, ram under "that" size will be compressed as happens for zipped files, so worst performance due to overload and more battery drain.
For hopeless users no more than 300-400 MB, for normal users no more than 200 MB [emoji6]

[HELP] gaming problems and graphical issues

I have really low fps in games or graphical issues everything is blocky asf like minecraft on steroids. I installed custom rom "Lineage OS" disabled quite a lot of functions. In developer mode i enabled "Force GPU rendering" and "Force 4x MSAA"
I think it has to do with my ram cuz i only have 300mb free out of 1500mb. And still nothing worked...
if anyone knows how to free up ram and speed up the phone PLEASE HELP
Karnel Adiutor
You can increase the CPU efficiency to 1500 MHz
and speed up reading from 4096.
