INTRODUCTION
Hi guys, I would like to present my work Veneno ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. Veneno ROM became very famous when it was released for the Nexus 5 and now it's your time to get your hands on it. Veneno ROM guarantees to provide a fluid experience and eye catching features. The ROM is filled with Sense 7 apps and provide a sense like experience to the users.

I know credits are at the end but i would like to thank the developer because of whom you'll be getting to experience my work and that is @Shujath. He granted me permission to use his work and provide you guys with what i have to offer. I'm very grateful to him for letting me use his work. He currently develops Cm13 for Grand 2 and it's his work that became the base for Veneno. If you like my work, smash the thanks button here as well as on this page as to show love to him for his exceptional work. It couldn't be possible without him and it's not easy to share your work. I had a talk with the developer and it seems the camera fix is on the way. Hopefully it's gonna work out well. And some other fixes too. And the best thing is a well known themer is gonna help me make a cm13 theme which would add statusbar icons as well as theme the SystemUI. The next update is going to be big. *Fingers crossed*

Rear. The main camera is rear. No one has been able to fix the front one on Marshmallow ROMs. Hopefully the front will also be fixed in the near future. Keep faith in the Dev.

But you can watch 3D videos (Youtube & mp4).
Wifi-Thether is supposed to work with 3rd party apps, but i can't confirm it.

OK, nice try...my first MIUI i notice such iUI exists but decided to try for first now....
First i was searching for "app drawer" button in the middle of bottom bar....then i realized it might not exist on MIUI
It looks like to be mdeejays last version with MiHome lanuncher over Rosie.
BT - paired with other devices, but not able to send receive files. (not tried handsfree)
WiFi - working
3D videos - working, no 3D images
CAM - working (2D mode as expected)
First unlock i had to unlock HTC screen, than MIUI screen...now stays only MIUI unlock screen...
Web Browsing looks to be pretty quick - gonna put SIM card in as right now browsing on WiFi tether from other phone next to me. So will try normal phone usage for some hours and DATA/3G speeds (bit slow data on last mdeejays at me)
USB mass storage - works
Sim card in - WiFi hot spot definitelly not works!
USB tether - works on Windows -DOES NOT work, was just doing like it works, loaded drivers, installed succesfully but no internet connection
...ok, for me MIUI not my taste
seems to be pretty same as mdeejays eclipse which is the base...but i was able to set up SkyDrive account for HTC sense (not able with mdeejays last one) - will play with that - so far SkyDrive works nice. (android will survive
SkyDrive works pretty fine also on 3G - altough open 1,5 MB xlsx file give "low memory" dialog and closes Olive office. (Will try other - preffered Kingston office".)
Again, ROM is complete mdeejays thing, just Miui launcher, deleted from system, copied rosie to system and voila...(rom has all sense things (yes it is about 460MB) so nothing stripped....dev should at least delete all htc stuff like vladbielsky in his AOSP feel...feel of MIUI is just miui launcher, which can everybody install itself from market.

Dont get me wrong, but...
...deleting rosie.apk from your rom, it is not sense 4 rom anymore...stripping down the rom means delete all those widget stuff which doesnot work on other launchers expect rosie.apk!!! Hopefully later on you will get deeper MIUI integration - now we have just mdeejays sense 4.0, deleted rosie.apk replaced with miui apk....look it needs more work to style mooore things to be like "sensemui" you promised.

Here's an idea! Instead of complaining about the stuff he didn't do, go and cook your own MIUI Rom with everything you've suggested here, then release it and see how everyone else is positive, supportive, and encouraging of someone who's trying their hand at developing. Everyone, except you it seems.
Good work on the Rom here! Always appreciative of someone taking time out of their lives to make something and give it freely to the E3D community.
PS. I'm sure many of us also appreciate your lengthy feedback regarding working/not working elements. So just go easy on the new developer

How to install:
Put Zip into SD-Card/Phone Storage
Reboot into CWM Recovery.
Don't wipe if coming from 4.0.4 or higher but if coming from any other please do full wipe.
Choose zip from card.
Flash it.
Reboot.

I removed the Camera and Gallery app as they don't work properly. I don't know why it is like that. I don't have the device so I will check and tell you later. Plus their should be no prob with the Build Number.

Thanks, the build number showed up as unknown. Everything else looked good.
Guy's, I recommend flashing jeboo's kernel, everything will work including camera/gallery & home/search key...
Other than that...nice rom, great job dev! thank you for porting this to our forum!

I have been told this may be a kernel issue...for now you can find the file you want and choose player option from the pop-up toast as you open the file and it will work.It appears that in his haste to release this for us Taimur may have inadvertantly posted the changelog for his I9100 version. Look for an update to that soon. What's "written" in the OP outside of the change log is more accurate kernel/recovery wise.

Yes Xam, he removed the gallery. You'll have to install a third party app. Also to the developer, it says in the OP there are screen shots in the second post. But there's no screen shots. Just a heads up.

A revision would be out soon, maybe later today or tomorrow addressing the fixes for the Home button not working and also the missing gallery plus the Video Player. The experience on posting a ROM on a device you don't have is tottaly different so guys please bear with me as I turn the OP+ROM to perfection. Just came back from giving a exam so once again please wait and as long as you are waiting, press the mighty Thanks button and rate the thread. Super Thanks to all. :highfive:

INSTALLATION:

1_ put the rom that you like best in the SDcard root (TouchWizDesign.zip)
2_ enter CWM (ClockWorkMod)
3_ do wipes:
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache partition
mouts and storage / format system (locked bootloader only)
advanced / wipe dalvik cache
4_ install: install zip from sdcard / choose zip from sd card / choose TouchWizDesign.zip
5_ guided by AROMA
Recommended kernel
kappa kernel.

Thanks, but the problem I have is the boot loader, so I have blocked . A friend is testing my rom for unlocked bootloader. So work. Someday when I get unlock surely will try to make a rom JB

probably yes, but I'm working on 3 roms at once , to start making sense I'll have to postpone it for a while, not very long. If you look at my other works I have a rom with LG style too much work is needed.
I hope someday to work together :angel:

Iets a Verry Good Rom and iets Verry Smooth and Looks verry good But iets nt Full The Touchwiz Design But iets v1
I found Some Little Bugs:
First: The Homescreen Wallpaper Choser is Force Closing Wheen I am Using it.
Second: The Transintion/ Overlay To the Menu or Switch to the Settings is a Little bit Lagy But you can Change the Speed of the Transintion/Overlay and theen it will Looks Smooth, So thees bug is Fixed
And That was it.
My Rating is 8/10 Iets a verry good Rom I test it not with Games but I Think you can play Games With no Problems
And I say I do Ads for your ROM I start my Work Right now I reply wheen I am Finish :laugh: :highfive:

Can you answer my question pls?
anyway ... this is good rom.. fast.. all function work smoothly... but sometime have problem on portable hotspot..
1 - gps working
2 - bluetooth working
3 - theatering working
4 - data working
5 - message working
6 - camera working
7 - recording working
8 - walkman button working on LWW
i think this is almost perfect rom .. testing on my live with walkman wt19i
i use this extended stock kernel v2 ..

I installed the ROM 5 hours ago, it's smoother and faster than all other ICS ROMS and there is a lot of free RAM.
The only issues that I found are:
- Random TouchWiz and Play Store FCs.
- When I try to install Facebook app the system reboots (?)
- Wifi icon is the same with all bars and with 0 bars.
- The lowest volume step is pretty like the maxium one in stock rom. (not a real problem but can be annoying).
- Some things don't work in ROM control (eg. Battery Saver).
- I cannot force 3g network (all CM/AOSP roms can't do this).
Then some suggestions for the new version:
- More themed SMS, Settings, Status bar toggles.
- Bigger numbers in dialpad and better background.
- Remove S4 bootlogo (only bcz i don't like it )
- Add stock keyboard for mini pro users (see the attachment).
- Bug Fixes...
- Location-Based Wifi.

Faq:
1. Recents small apps panel comes after reboot when disabled from recents control.
a. Sadly it reverts to stock after reboot. figuring this out.
2. Clear button of statusbar disapears when switching to quicksettings and not revert
a. Its still there but "Invisible" after swiping away some notifs it will appear again
3. When just booted cant acces quicksettings
a. Remove a notif or make one or swipe with 2 fingers
This is placeholder fr more stuff and such changelogs etc

I myself have learned 790% of everything i currently know through trial and error and having fun to try something out.
My very first rom that i made 2/3 years ago is still being used
For me it took much willpower and once knowing the basics it can progress faat if you have time to search, investigate and play.
For me 4.3 was new challenge due to being stuck on 4.1.2 for long time and mostly worked on 2.3
But now thats over
Lets say 1/3 months is all you need to learn rom developing.
Can be faster and can be slower it depends on what kind of person you are

The reason why i used .205 is
Its my original stock rom on this device ^^
Used it since beginning.
And i read that .207 was carrier only variant of rom and i didnt saw enough changes to update to .207 base.
Ofcourse you can i love distribution
I am not difficult in these matters

i worked through my school years ^^ mostly when i had some hours ( 1 or 3 ) free time and worked on it

well, u live in Europe and I live in Jordan and education system here sucks, my whole future depends on the last year in school and in this year there is only 2 final exams. one in every semester and there is 2 Semester. so, my whole future depends on 14 exams which will determines WHAT Im gonna study in the university

Anyways I will soon create a reverse zip. Right now you can just reflash ROM or clear data of TouchWiz and Music Player.
