Need help for installing stock recovery in Hol U-19 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello Friends,
I posted the question in another section and I am told to ask it here again. So here it is....
I rooted my Honor Holly 10 days ago and flashed with Philz recovery and installed minimal OS. However minimal OS is not responding very good and I want to revert back to stock ROM and recovery. I downloaded stock recovery from this site but it is not working. Everytime I reboot into recovery it just restarts I have tried everything from factory reset to cache clean. I used two different apps Flashify and Rashr but both are not working. Please help me, I know there must be other people too with same problem and I searched the forum and couldn't find any good method.
Your help will be appreciated.

I only need a method to get back stock recovery, I have made the backup of stock ROM.
Please help ASAP

[Q] can someone help me with clockworkmod?

Ok guys heres the deal....i recently got a samsung fascinate from my sister cause I couldnt mod my inc any more. ok so....i got the phone rooted. i have su perm. i downloaded rom manager and installed it. now heres my problem. i can preform a backup no problem, but when i go to restore that backup it boots into clockwordmod and begins and then get an error about erasing boot img. or something like that. can tell exactly if i get some help from this. also cant install custom roms like i can with my incredible. i know it can be done cause i see roms and all for this phone. can someone please please help me.
Thats because cwm3 will not perform nandroid restores on stock roms. You need to flash cwm 2.5.1.x red recovery. Its the best recovery imo for any bml(touchwiz) rom. Go over to my guide in general section and you cand find cwm 2.5 in section 2&5. Oh and ditch rom manager...manually install cwm via odin!
If you're coming from an incredible, also keep in mind you don't have to be rooted to flash roms either, you just have to have a custom recovery. There aren't really any modifications like rooting procedures, S-OFF, etc, required for rom flashing, just odin a recovery and flash your selected rom.

[Q] Installed CWM Recovery on Galaxy Note N7000 and got in a bootloop straight away

Hello dear community
This is my very first thread I am making on this website, so please pardon me if I am on the wrong page of this website.
Anyways, I'm more or less desperate. I saw a youtube tutorial on how to install Android 4.4 Kit Kat on a Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 and I heard I'd need root AND a custom recovery.
Because I'm a total newbie to this kind of stuff, I tried the very first thing I saw that had something to do with custom recovery, because I already had my phone rooted. So, I looked up a tutorial on youtube on how to install CWM custom recovery and ended up with installing it successfully, but now my phone is stuck in a bootloop. As I already mentioned, I am a newbie and therefore I am very desperate at the moment, you know.
The only thing I can do is go to Recovery Mode, but if I try to turn the phone on it gets stuck in a bootloop (It actually doesn't loop at all, it just freezes at the moment when the Samsung Galaxy Note logo appears and doesnt do anything after that.).
I think my problem is that I actually threw a new Kernel on my phone, because the video title says "How to install Kernel with CWM [...]"
I would be very very very very very grateful if anyone was kind enough to help me get out of this!
I really need help!
Thanks!
PS.
If this helps you help me:
This happened when I had Android 4.1.2 installed.
There's going to be 2 ways to get out of this:
1) Reinstall the stock firmware via Odin.
2) Install a custom rom via recovery.
Personally, I'd go with number 2 because a) you wanted to update anyway and b) if you have the right recovery and rom, it'll be easier as you can just put the files you need on an external SD card and install via the custom recovery. Now, not all recoveries are able to flash any file. Many times you need specific ones to install the newer android versions. So, if you are wanting to install something 4.4 based, then using a recovery that was made, say, last year, probably will not work well if at all.
Another thing to try first, is to wipe the cache and dalvik cache in recovery since you said you tried to install a kernel. It is always recommended to wipe these when installing (assuming you did pick a compatible kernel with what you were trying to install).

[Q] HTC Stock ROM, custom recovery, factory reset related

Hello there,
Need Help on urgent basis. I am still using HTC Explorer . I need Help with multiple things.
I was on custom rom with Philz Touch recovery. My phone started to do some issues with soft keys. I Tried some other ROM but nothing changed. I reverted back to the same ROM and then even my touch started to mess up.
I did restore of my old Stock ROM. (Backup I did before installing Custom ROM)
Now my touch is much better and soft keys are working much better.
I want to do a factory reset on stock ROM to see if can get rid of this soft key and touch issue because reverting back to stock ROM did a good job in almost solving my issue now my questions are:
1. Stock ROM but custom recovery (Philz Touch Recovery) is it possible to do factory reset in this situation or I have to revert back to stock recovery?
2. I am facing issue with fastboot my phone does not connect in fastboot mode it does shows Fastboot USB but on my computer it says Waiting for device need help with this too.
3. If anyone knows about the method to flash stock recovery without using PC then kindly do let me know.
4. I am using Stock ROM backup. ROM which came already installed on my device. Do I need to download RUU or it is just fine to do factory reset on this ROM.
Reply as fast as you can guys because I have only this one phone to use and I am tired of trying alot of things now I just want to do factory reset and then start over again.

Usman Aly
