How can i the layout icon from 4*4 to 5*4 change(miui 7 - stable global rom)?
My mobile (redmi note 3) is ROOT

You can't do it on stock MIUI launcher, download Apex / Nova launcher from Play store

You can use miui tweaks in xposed and you can chande icon grid
But my devices not support xposed
Get rid of that crap launcher. I like Nova but changed to Zen Launcher as it gives the extra features you have to pay for on Nova for free.

Ok so i just made this thread to find out what features you guys like whether on cyanogenmod or miui.
i currently have a locked bootloader but working to unlock it so which means i am using miui rom.
my favourite feature in this rom is the graphics and the online music i can listen directly to all the playlist.
so post yours as well

okay here is my favourite between both of them....
------- MiUi -------
1. built-in call/msg blocker (firewall)
2. built-in MiUi backup
3. themes can be customizes
4. fully customizes status bar (control panel)
5. lockscreen is differents on each themes
6. MiUi music player (the best)
7. LBE Guard (got a few extras apps such as App control)
8. Stable and fast
------ CM ------
1. Frequently Updated
2. Plenty of themes (can be downloaded from market)
3. Stable and fast (depend on which CM do you use)
4. App drawer
Errrr...couldn't find more on CM cause i'm new using CM
I really like the features of Cyanogenmod and that it's not so hard to compile updates on my PC. But MIUI has a beautiful interface, too
I would choose Cyanogenmod: Best features and best style! AOSP
I like MIUI security app which allows fine privileges management for all apps (GPS access, phone state, etc.)

You can do that on cm10 too and it actually works better.....
Tbh they are both my favourite roms. Miui is very well "built" allowing for total customization of your phone with very easy to mod themes. Also i love the contacts sorting options, like only show contacts with phone numbers and the possibility of removing avatars from contacts and sms.
CM is faster and snappier, with miui i always have a little lag when turning on and unlocking lockscreen and when receiving calls, cm is smoooth like butter.
CM10 base and miui theme engine instead of t-mobile, i think that wouod be the ultimate rom...

By force touch, you mean App shortcuts?
App shortcuts on Pixel launcher and Google now launcher work only with Android 7.1 and above ROMs.
Or you can get them using Nova Launcher even on Lollipop ROMs.
nope not on all, only one (xenonHD) that provides nova launcher beta as default launchers or you can use pixel launcher. Anyways its just a software feature, apple is the only one that has hardware support for that.
The 'force touch' is just a long press. It works only on Nova beta 8 and the Pixel launcher.
Anyone knows how to get center clock like ios .... I'm using redmi note 3 Snapdragon variant ..... My phone it's rooted.... I know a way which is through Xposed but is there any other way except it.... Please tell me

Just try miui status bar pro app. It's available on play store. It might ask you to upload miuisystem.apk. This is available on net.

I got a new redmi 5 and I love the miui theme, I don't miss for nothing the Android stock.
BUT.......
What happened with some icons? For example:
Gmail, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, they are terribles!
It shows a white square with the icon in middle.
Is there any way to customize some specific icons for separately? Obviously I want to keep the miui theme and I don't want a launcher to do this.
I'm not root by the way, the phone is completely new, and I want to say HELLO to this community!

Install an app mi theme creator , download stock icon pack and build a theme .
i have got a Nova Launcher Prime subscription....so can i install & use Nova launcher in Realme 3 Pro? will there be any compatibility or O.S stability problem ?

You can use any third-party launchers. In Default Apps, set launcher as Nova and you are good to go.
THese are generic apps, should work without any problem , you can use it
