Calling On All The Experts For This Challenging Task ! - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
I'm sorry to re-post this again, but I haven't seen anyone here to say me it is possible or even completely impossible - just forget about it. I will leave this issue forever if someone comes up with the latter. But no one has commented on this so far.
Please find the link to my situation here -

Your input, assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Do not make more then one post about an issue.
As for the issue you are gonna end up factory resetting. No way around it.

Call problems. Disappearing sound in mid call. PLEASE HELP.

I'm really sorry about opening a new thread, but i really need your help on this one. I don't know what it might be, I tried to search the forum for similar problems, but couldn't find nothing.
So the thing is the sound just disappears in mid call as for me and for the other end to, than it comes back, than it disappears again, and so on for the rest of the conversation. And, as you all would guess, that is very annoying.
My guess: Maybe something with the proximity sensor?
If someone experienced this and already found a fix for this, I would really appreciate the feedback.
Thanks in advance.
Not sure. Oh and this would be better off in wildfire general (pm the moderator for this forum)

Help/advice about live wallpapers

Hands up, I have to be honest, this thread is basically a duplicate of one I already started elsewhere but it's just gotten buried in that section and I doubt I'll ever get any help with it.
As I said in the other thread, I'm wondering if it's possible to embed switches/toggles for functions like bluetooth into a live wallpaper.
I mean, I know that live wallpapers can respond to touch input, I'm just not sure if they can be used to control other functions within the handset itself.
If that is possible, the next problem is that I have no idea how to create a live wallpaper.
Any/all suggestions, advice, etc would be greatly appreciated.
Quick bump in case anyone can help...

=)
Top two work best bud, good luck! That would be pretty cool if you incorporate that though.
Because, of course, I'd never thought to actually try finding out the answer myself(!)
Pretty much every link on the first page of that search I've already looked at.
But answers aren't hugely forthcoming, especially about being able to control the bluetooth status, and the guides aren't the clearest for someone who has no idea what he's doing like myself.
I asked here in the hope that someone with some expertise might be able to help.

Try that
Thanks for the link, I'll look into that.
One guy mentions 'livemake' which I've not encountered so far.
The second one just uses 'Custom Creator 2.6' which I'm already familiar with and isn't remotely capable of what I'm trying to do - it can only produce basic animations.
I'll definitely chase that up though, thanks.

[Q] Work in a factory. Need to reduce background noise! Can't find solution ANYWHERE!

First I would like to say thank everyone from XDA. I'm new to posting, but I've been lurking them for a while. I have learned A LOT and can't believe I haven't posted earlier. If the answer to this is there then my apologies. I work in a factory and use my earbuds/mic to talk on the phone. I understand that some background noise will be heard but there is far too much. If it helps I have a HTC Desire CDMA running MIUI 2.3.7 and I can't even find the voice privacy option. I have searched and searched and either it's not exactly my problem or no one EVER answers this. I really thought this would be an easy answer but turns out its not :/ If anyone could PLEASE help me I would be sooooo appreciated. Thank anyone in advance!!
Maybe what I'm looking for could be a mic sensitivity modifier or something like that. Maybe a app that can do this? I just know with all the apps/mods there is for android, there HAS to be a solution for this. I have yet to find one.
i think i got it thanks anyways
sorry for posting so much as i created this thread long ago. can a moderator please delete this thread its useless. thanks

[Q] Help with switching carriers...

Hello,
I did some searching, but couldn't find a definate answer. Also, I only have an hour to figure this out, or else I will have to wait at least 3 days, which I do NOT want to do. Any help is very much appreciated...
I have been without a phone for waaaaay too long. I have decided to go with Straight Talk wireless (no contract). I have a few questions:
Is it possible to use my Fascinate on the Straight Talk network?
If so, how difficult would this be? Some time ago, I was knowledgable enough to put a custom ROM on it.
If I were to order a free phone online, it would be possible to switch it over to my verizon fascinate, and give the free phone to a family member, correct??
If someone could provide me with the steps needed to get my phone straight-talk ready, that would be a huge help. Or provide me with any links that explain the process.
Thanks so much, and once again, sorry if this is common knowledge to most folks, but I reallly need to make a decision asap.
Thanks in advance...
No help??
It is the i1500 version, if that helps...
Thanks for any help!!!

Shot in the dark - repair parts!

First of all let me totally apologize for this thread. It's not the norm in these forums, I see, but am unsure where else to turn for help.
What all of you are doing and talking about here is all above my head. Rooting, bricked devices, software this and that, mods, etc. *whoosh!* - right over my head.
What I do have is a hardware issue. Does anyone have any idea if there is a site I can go to or somewhere I can search for HDX 8.9 parts? You can imagine the stuff I get when I put in "HDX 8.9 Fire speakers" anywhere. Bluetooth external speakers galore! I've found one site that seems to have the part I need, but it's out of stock.
I seem to have a speaker gone bad on my HDX and need to replace it.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Again, let me apologize for this thread and being one of those drive-by posters. Not sure where else to turn!
Thank you so much in advance for any help!
Steven
Answering your post is way over my head... HDX speaker, parts..? *woosh*
