Does anyone have a permanent root for the k7?

I have used kingroot. Haven't had any issues with it since middle of march which is apparently month that it came out for the k7 what model number are you using?

I've tried Kingroot, it tried a few methods to root, restarted the phone a couple of times with no result.
Next, I've tried Kingoroot that took about a minute to root it.

[Q] Root Lg L70 Android 4.4.2 LGMS323

Hello everyone, I'm here because someone told me to write here about my problem while trying to root my cellphone. As the tittle shows, it is a LG L70 with android 4.4.2 (KitKat). Well, here it goes:
I've been looking for many different ways to root my phone since I have been having some troubles with its storage, so I looked for solutions and everyone told me that I need to root my phone, so I'm trying, but there is no app, or pc program able to do it. I found about "Purple Drake" and it was supossed to be the solution to my problem but at the end it wasn't. While making the process to root my phone it shows a message like this:
Error: Your phone is not running a compatible software version. No vulnerable mode detected, rebooting phone.
We tried to temproot you, and it didn't work. This phone isn't vulnerable, it would appear.
Please post on XDA with your phone model, carrier, and SW version.
Well... My phone is a LG L70 (LGMS323) with android 4.4.2, the software version is MS32310c (but, in the purple drake software it appears as "V10c"). It used to be from MPCS but it was changed to "Movistar" (A mexican company), anyway in the software it stills appearing as a MPCS phone. I really need somebody to help me, as I said before I have many problems with the storage of the phone and I need to solve them, but to do so I need to root the phone.
That's it, I hope you can help me. Thank you for reading. Happy new year

Our phone is running the latest version of KitKat whic is "MS32310c" and it is impossible for PurpleDrake to root the phone because this version doesn't have a "way to root", so our solution is nothing but patience :/

rooting lgms330 (lg k7) alternative to kingoroot

ive read that kingoroot was deemed suspicious by you guys what is alternative as I have tried kingo several times to no avail I cant remember what message comes up but something about missing strategy please help by the way I used kingo on another lg k7 with success and have questions about that will get to those later
Kingoroot is fine. It's kingroot that is iffy to some but I used kingroot.
Kingroot works but can't get it to SuperSu. Kingoroot worked and i was able to switch SuperSu from chainfire.

I have the same problem with lg v10 h901.
unknown model in lg up.
all drivers are installed.
not going to download mode skipped to fast mode.
showing update in lg- bridge but after download shows can,t updat try again.
same here...still fighting with that since 20 days
Check the back(under battery, label) of the phone and see if it isn't a f600 board it may not be a legitimate h901 but I'm no pro either. maybe it could be that the dll file you have could be the wrong file. any how good luck upgrading and if you already have twrp or root just find a flashable zip.

LGL 157BL LG Rebel 3 Root possible?

Hi,
Checking if LGL 157BL ( LG Rebel 3) can be rooted. Tried KingRoot with no luck.
Thanks!
Try others, but have little hope
The LG Rebel 3 has a low success rate being rooted with these:
Kingoroot (Android/Windows)
Framaroot (Android)
One Click Root (PC)
Manually using adb and fastboot
Lower end devices like this one usually can't be rooted.

Super-sume pro?

Hey guys... Do you think I can root my LG g8x (lm-g850um 20f) with kingroot and then install super-sume pro which will then remove kingroot and it's shady files and will automatically replace with superSU. I would like to use TWRP but I understand it is still having problems. My phone is Carrier unlocked but I'm not sure if the bootloader is unlocked.
I have the same question. I have 2 G8x - a G850UM 20k and a G850QM 20b. LG has made promise to upgrade G8x to Android 12. Android 11 is coming in 3Q 2021. So I am not interested in 3party ROM. But I do want to root the phone and edit the "sound" config file so the Quad DAC would kick into high gear even for <50ohm IEMs or headphones. I did that with a LG V20 and a V30. I am certain this can be done with the G8x.
But I need to carefully root the phone, edit the file, and unroot cleanly afterward. kingroot scares me.
If nobody can answer the question, then I'm thinking about taking my phone down to the public library that has pretty laid back administration restrictions on software installs. I'll just try to follow one of the rooting guides from this forum and download all the software and hook my phone up via USB to the library computer since it's a Windows computer and try it there!
