My mobile front camera isn't working or not I don't know but I think it os issue or any other is front camera hardware effected. After opening front cam it doesn't taking photo and the screen turns into green often black but idle no captures stucks.

I recently got my Radar and when I try to take a picture, the camera simply does not focus. I´ve tried everything, but nothing works. Is my camera broken or is this maybe a software issue?
Mostly a Windows Phone thing...
To focus on certain objects, tap them on your touchscreen and it will take the picture.. (This might be disabled in settings)

when u use the camera key,there are 2 press,when u press a little bit the camera adjusts the focusing and let u know on screen that the square brackets turn from WHITE to GREEN or they stays stable,then full press the camera button.....! u will have a clear shot.....! no software bug or no camera problem its just a button operating system......!
I know about the shutter button and the touch to pic, but the thing is that when I half press the button the white square appears but it doesnt focus as in nothing happens. For example when I want to take macro pic, it shows it focused when actually it didnt

I've been asked to try and sort an issue with the rear camera (main camera) on a family members SGII (I9100P). The rear camera when activated just shows black. I have tried numerous different Kernels and different ROM's. I installed the latest 4.1.2 for the I9100P and the rear camera worked for about 20 minutes and then it went back to displaying black. The front facing camera works fine.
Any ideas on the cause of this or how to fix it?

Quick update. I rooted the phone using this method and now the camera works for a little while and then freezes and "Unknown error by ErrorCallback" comes up on the screen. I exit out and re-enter the camera and the screen is black, but if I then exit out and re-enter, it starts again for a very short while.
Bump - Anyone? I am 'assuming' it is software related as it works for a short while then cuts out.

my camera shutter seems to be broken and i think its stuck in focus mode, I mean if i touch the screen any where in the camera app, the focus circle seems to move where my finger is but it doesnt show blue lining (which means its not focusing) and it also doesnt give me the focus sound so yah... it does auto focus when I take the picture but still , I was wondering if i can put the camera shutter out function ( any software changes I can do to set the shutter to do nothing so I can use the touch focus)?

Anyone experiencing front camera broken after the update, video taking is fine but for some reason taking photo is just showing gray photo at all, I have to restart every time to fix it.
My Reno 10x zoom phone has a strange issue. When I turn on camera it shows rear viewfinder at the same time the shark fin (front camera) pops out. But when I change to front camera for a selfie shot the shark fin closes and the screen goes black. I don't know how to fix this issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you've got the phone facing the wrong way!!!
Of not....then there's a software issue.
Try:
1. Turning the camera around (LOL)
Or
2. Deleting camera cache and storage
Then
3. Restarting device. Check

I did clear the cache and did software update to android 10. Still no change. With the rear camera out of the three only wide angle camera works at all the different settings. Oit doesn't switch ot the main camera or the periscope.

And there's nothing preventing it from rising? Anything stuck in the sides stopping it coming out (dirt, sand, etc)?
