So, I am on the nightly CM12.1 build for the hltespr Note 3 (N900P). This is the one.
I can't seem to find anyone else experiencing this exact issue and it hasn't been posted recently. I have no 4G/LTE service. I have toggled every setting both in the regular settings and under the *#*#4636#*#* settings and nothing seems to work. I was able to flash a stock rom and got LTE service immediately but again got nothing but 3G when I flashed CM12.1 back.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Just wiped data, delvik, cache, etc and loaded the latest nightly fresh and I still get no LTE.
Same here i only get 3g on any room i tink it is something wrong with our modem im using the last kernel h1 let me know if u found the answer
Same here. I flashed Phronesis N5 v6.5 (with the CSC set to SPR and updated my apns-config.xml to a copy from my wife's identical phone) and have only been able to get 3G. I have reverted back to stock and 4G was up and running. This is my headache right now. We need to pull our heads together and get this figured out. My baseband is OK2 right now. I was thinking maybe upgrading to the PH1 would help. It's just odd it works fine with stock.
I just realized wilder90 said he has PH1 running and it's not working. Maybe I will still try it.
*Update- I rolled back to stock and upgraded firmware to PH1. My build says LRX21V.N900PVPUEPH1 but baseband and software still say N900PVPUEOK2. I have 4G working. Do I have to update baseband/software another way?
*Update- I downloaded PH1 from sammobile.com and flashed the update through Odin. Now all says PH1. 4G still working great. I am going to flash Phronesis again and see if there is a change.

I have 4G/LTE working. It doesn't have really any customization available but it works and it's new.

Last week I was using NOS M7 v3.0.6 and everything was working great but me being a flasaholic, I wanted to try out a 4.3 Rom so I flashed SlimBean DLX 4.3 and it would not connect to 4G. I used it for about 2 days and tried changing the preferred network and rebooting but still didn't work. I then did a full wipe and flashed ParanoidAndroid v3.99 and still no 4G. I then tried crDroid AOSP after a full wipe and still same results. I then decided to go back to NOS to see if it would correct it but it didn't so I even went to Tranquil's 4.1.2 Rom which is what I am on now but still have no 4G. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
I am considering taking it back to 100% stock and see if it works.
Also...my wife's rooted Galaxy SIII connects to 4G in the same area with no problems.

Its a known issue on some 4.3 roms, you must do a RUU but do not forget after Ruu a Phone Reset is obligated , so all your
factory original settings will be back.

I'm running the NOS GPE 1.0.3 rom, and ever since, I too have only been able to connect to 3G...until like 20 minutes before this post. This worked for me.
Go to phone, dial *#*#4636#*#* and go to Phone settings, scroll down and set the preferred type to LTE/CDMA. Go to settings, "More" under network settings, go to mobile networks, turn off data and change the CDMA subscription to NV, then restart your phone. After I did that, after unlocking my phone, it tried to activate but it was stuck roaming, from there I pulled down the notifications and went to settings from there and went back to Mobile Networks and changed the network type to CDMA/LTE/EvDo and restarted my phone again, now LTE works perfectly Only thing is, it seems to always be on 3 bars of LTE, no matter what, but I'm not complaining, its much faster than 3G.
Ok, thanks for all the help. After flashing the RUU and upgrading to 2.06 it still wouldn't connect to 4g. I then went to a Verizon store and swapped out the sim card and it still didn't work but after about an hour it all of the sudden it connected to 4g. So, I guess it was the sim card and it just took a while to connect. Thanks again.
Alright guys, this is gonna be kinda long so get ready. I was running stock 4.4.2 NEW and I saw that there was a way to get GPE 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 rom working on the s4. I followed all the instructions on RickGrimes's post and wifi didn't work. Not and big deal. I couldn't soft reboot, so I tried flashing gogolies nc2 wifi fix and this modem worked. I then tried to update to 4.4.4, also following the instructions and the wifi didn't work once again. I flashed gogolies nc2 wifi fix again but it did not work. I also realized that I had no service at all and that I couldn't send or receive any messages or calls. So I did the safe thing and used Odin to get back to stock. I am currently running stock but the service is still terrible in places where I usually get great signal. Also, my wifi strength seemed to go down from what it usually is. Another issue is that my contacts that were backed up in backup assistant aren't there anymore at all. I generally know what I'm doing when it comes to this stuff but for some reason I have no idea how to resolve these issues. Any help will be appreciated.

I wound up going back to stock 4.4.2 via Odin, but the problem still persisted. I figured out the my network settings were changed to Global instead of CDMa/LTE. Changed it back and all is well! Thank you though!

I am currently running a VZN SCH-I545 MDK on a AT&T network that has worked perfectly for all pre-LP versions and ROMs. Although when I try to update to a LP ROM, my mobile data doesn't work. I get an exclamation mark next to the signal bars even though data is on. I do get phone signal and wifi works. Am I missing something when updating to a LP ROM? Is this an issue when porting from VZN to AT&T when LP hasn't been released?
1. I tried several LP ROMs, but the only one that has worked so far is Dirty Unicorns 9.2.
2. I always do clean flashes
Any help would be appreciated greatly!

So I found the fix... for me using a Verizon phone on an AT&T network, then the mobile data settings are incorrect when installing LP ROMs. Somehow I got it to work when I messed with the following -
1. Preferred network type to LTE (preferred)
2. APN set to wap.cingular or pta (?)
3. Dialed *#*#4363#*#*
I have noticed that i get this if i install LP then go back to KK. What happend was i had Jamsime 7.0 installed and was trying to get the xposed working for 5.0 LP. I flashed the file in TWRP but something just wasn't right. Of course i had not made a nandroid of this yet (as i was just checking things out) but i had my most recent which was KK 4.4.2. What i was wondering is how this actually happend and is there something i can just flash to make the baseband is missing issue go away without having to install the fresh firmware thru LG flash tool.
How can baseband be missing? Your phone wouldn't even work. What error message or what are you seeing when you look in about phone, software, baseband?
The phone boots right up and runs like normal. Except the 4g LTE icon in the bar at the top keeps opening and closing. I figured it's searching for a signal or something. In the about phone where baseband is it just says "baseband is missing".

I installed Fulmics 5.2 rom on my Verizon lg g3, and now I am stuck in 3g, even though there is great 4g in my area? Anyone found a reliable fix, or should I give up on Fulmics (which is great otherwise)?

I wasn't able to install it so you got further then I did. But I had that same issue on a number of non-stock ROMs and never found a "fix" other then trying diff nightlies until one worked. Another is very flaky WiFi which I'm seeing on XenonHD
Just simply give up. Nobody really has ever gotten an international GSM rom with working LTE on the VS985. A couple of months ago we got 3G working on fulmics 5.0. However to my dismay, when I flashed another ROM, I only had 3G data no matter what I used. It turned out that it wiped my EFS partiton, the one that controls call and data information. I had to wipe my phone with the stock KDZ file, and then re root and unlock.That really, really sucked. Moral of the story: give up on the international roms that say they're 'compatible' with the VS985. They're not.

Fulmics was a wonderful ROM except for Verizon 4g, so now I'll restore to something else. Wish I knew this first, wasted a bunch of time.

I've got it working, I think, my data icon shows a 4G. I've found a post in fulmics thread that says to get it working you should wipe, flash then bootstack, flash fulmics and once again flash the bootstack.
Some times in former versions i've got it working just wiping, flashing fulmics, booting without data and flashing the bootstack after all, so I guess that flash the bootstack after fulmics gets the point.
Give it a try and post back!!!

I've tried that before, however all I ended up getting is a 4G roaming data icon. Is it showing as roaming for you?
I would go back to fulmics, but I'll admit I was only using it to have a little look at UX 5.0. Then it wiped my EFS partition, so I'm not gonna go back. If it works for you then great! Happy on xenonHD right now though.
